How can I lock my pc and be able to keep playing songs in ITunes?

Dear all,
I'm a dance teacher and use my laptop during classes. While having a break I need to be able to step out of the room, when the music is still playing.
Problem: I don't want my students or fellow teachers to be able to read any of my files or go to any of my programs. However, they need to be able to access my ITunes library - and only my ITunes library - with a read only function (I don't want them to be able to delete or change any of my songs).
I've tried MacLoc, but unfortunately as soon as MacLoc activates, the music stops.
If I create a separate account, ITunes does not automatically copy my songs into the new account. (And I have over 13,000 songs with weekly updates - as I'm also a DJ - so that would be hard to keep up).
Does anyone have any advice in this matter?

thanks for the replies. Trying out the suggestions have allowed me to define my problem/requirement more clearly so here goes the second attempt:
I want to assure that during the class and whenever I have to step out of the room, the students can keep on dancing and change the music if they need to.
However, I want to have the following constraints:
1. the students should only be able to access a subset of my music in iTunes
2. students should not be able to change/delete the songs nor the IDTags or ratings
3. I want to only keep 1 main library to avoid having to copy files from one library to another
4. students should not be able to access other programs on the Mac not be able to access the FW/usb ports and dvd port
I'm using this mac as a professional teacher and DJ and don't want others to peek into my business nor copy stuff they are not entitled to.
BTW, I couldn't copy the iTunes folder to the Shared-portion of the left Finder pane. I could however copy the folder into the Public folder.
Can you guys help me out?

You might have an app or iTunes purchase that belongs to a different Apple ID. Look very carefully at the popup and make sure it is referenceing your correct Apple ID.

it is very nice that you post a solution to complete the library with artwork for album's that do not have an artwork. Your solution perfectly addresses the problem for assigning artwork, BUT this thread is about CHANGING artwork for albums already uploaded into iTunes Match. Just try to replace for example a blue artwork cover for an album with a red one. If you made it in a simple way (without deleting the album from iTunes Match and local changes on the files with an external ID3-Application or 2 or more iTunes libraries on different Mac's) this is the right place to give a solution. I really tried for hours to change the artwork to make them visible in landscape cover flow mode on my iPhone5. In rare cases I made it, but then the covers sometimes where restored to the old onces - exacly how it is mentioned by Starhawk
As long as there is no simple way to change the cover of an iTunes Match stored album (you can change title, artist and so on without hitting "update iTunes Match" over all distributed Library on different devices - this date will be synchronized almost instantly) I considered the behaviour from iTunes as BUGGY! For me the local artwork cache (and if there is any iCloud artwork cache - I don't know) do not interfere with iCloud. Even when I delete the whole local cache (album artwork music - everything) I do not manage to change the artwork.

Thanks for your response. I tried all that myself. In fact, last night, it all worked fine on all users. This morning, no Home Sharing would show up. It is really weird because some setting must have changed, but I did not knowingly changed anything, and now all the obvious fixes don't work. In fact, if I turn off Home Sharing and turn it back on, then it comes up only until I hit the "done" button on the set up page and then it goes away from the left hand column again. The ADVANCED drop down tab says it is on, but it is not there.

How can i lock the position and size of all of my .app windows?

I have had this problem for a few months now; I would size the window of one of my apps (lets use safari for example) exactly the size i want it, then i position it exactly in the center of my screen because I'm OCD like that, then I'm just browsing the internet and i accidentally move the window so then i have to move it back. Sometimes it gets even worse and for whatever reason, my cursor is down in the lower right part of my window and i accidentally size it, then i have to go back and resize it to where it was. Please help me! there has to be a way to lock my windows positions and sizes! is there a widget or a program out there that can save my life?! Thanks haha

AFAIK, there isn't. All I can suggest is that you quit clicking and dragging the cursor. Use the arrow keys to scroll up and down. I don't have a laptop, but there might be a trackpad setting for the various swipe stuff that comes with them.

So, as I mentioned in my heading which is rather long (sorry lol) I have had a bad computer virus, now fixed, which has lost me a lot of information. This includes the content of ,my iTunes Library and my ability to access it.
So, can someone help me by telling me how I can gethte music currently in my iPhone back in to the Music Library in my new version of iTunes. Aslo hiow do I now get Album Artwork in to iTunes as well - iI recall that it was really easy when I set it up but this new version is causing me all sorts of heartache when I tried just now - hence my plea for help.

iDevices are not backup devices.
Use the backup of the computer to put the content back on the computer.
If not backup exists and the content was purchased via iTunes, connect the device and select File > Transfer purchases. This will not restore playlists, playcounts or any other library specific data.
If the media was not purchased via iTunes, search google for ways to extract it from the iPhone.
Whatever you do, going forward make sure you back up your media and other important files regularly.

I had my own laptop with my own iTunes account on it. However the laptop is now broken. My partner has his laptop but his already got his own iTunes account. How can I sync my iPod and iPhone to this laptop but use my iTunes?

To set up a new Windows user account, if it is Windows 7, go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety > Add or Remove User Accounts > Create New Account.
The old laptop is probably on Windows XP, so the menus may look a little different.
Once they each have their own Windows user account, they can each work with their own iTunes library, and all content will be independently managed. That should avoid snarls and demerits in the coming year.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.
