babowa, it seems like it is using Fuse & NTFS, so I don't think it's the classic WD + 10.9 mess, but extra WD tools & drivers can still break things MtTran.
MrTran, if you must use unsupported disk formats on your Mac you must also consider actually paying the developers that made the trial software.
It's probably a good idea to follow the developers removal instructions, reboot & then install one tool at a time.
MacFuse, FuseOSX, NTFS-3G are all likley to confict if you run older versions so you need to be sure you are using the latest version. I can't remeber which one depends on the other, so you will need to read the manuals.
When the disk is readable copy the data to another disk. You could probably do this from a Linux distro or Windows if OS X won't do it.
If you insist on only using the trial versions you will need to reinstall Mac OS, copy data off this disk & reformat it.
Is there any good reason for not using the Mac HFS extended format?

I'm the director of an event that takes place over one week in October. I made a calendar in my iCal that showed all common public events. I exported it and saved the calendar as am ics file, but my friends, who all use windows, who tried it got strange results. Two got only one of the events on Google Calendar. One tried importing it into Outlook, and was told something about changeling from Gregorian to Lunar, so he just backed out.
About a year ago I received a link to just such a calendar and it worked like a charm. So,
1] how can I create a calendar that contains all the week's events and can be imported into other calendars.
2] is there a way I can make it updatebale (this is secondary.)
I have mountain lion, and fwiw, when I imported it into my computer it worked fine, and ended up with a duplicate of the originally exported calendar.

Ok it is just a scetch, what i want to saz is, the Collums ar the dazs of the whole month and in the row, there are the names and the activity for the day.
So this is a kind of overfiew for the "chef" what who is doing what in this month.

Problem: my Dreamweaver CS5.5 has ceased to function
Steps taken:
1. Did a reset NVRAM / PRAM
2. Shut down; restart — no difference
3. Disk Utility: Repaired Disk Permissions, Verified Disk Permissions, Verified Disk
4. Restart — no difference
I am not on the Creative Cloud.
I have a back up of the application on my external drive.
I have my serial numbers.

The problem was the Adobe Dreamweaver Preferences file. As soon as I tossed it, Dreamweaver opened. I did get the following message which I will investigate further:
Unable to find file CHOMBACKEND.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.

After upgrading to Mountian Lion it seems the calendar is even bigger than before. I can make it larger, but I really want to make it smaller... The smallest it will go is still 5" or 6" wide across my screen. I want it to be about 4" wide...

That's as small as it gets.
There's a free menu bar calendar app in the App store. It provides a nice compact way of view your calendar. Somewhat confusingly it is also called Calendar.

Logically a structure something like below should work BUT whether or not it will upset the FG I don't know as I wouldn't ever use it.

Start by cleaning up your code and fixing your errors as described below. Among other things, you have a huge amount of <strong> and <em> tags that are not being used. Delete them.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
All iWork apps allow you to save your documents on your computer. You will be able to choose the destination when you want to save a document.
You can also disable iCloud for some apps. To do that, go to System Preferences -> iCloud, press "Options" next to "iCloud Drive" and disable the apps you want to.
If you have lost your old documents, you should have a backup that you made before upgrading to OS X Yosemite, so you only have to restore it.
