How can I make firefox remember passwords on ALL sites?

Firefox has a feature to remember my passwords, which is very useful. However, some sites mess with this so they won't save my passwords. In some cases these sites turn "autocomplete" off for the password field in their html; in other cases they appear to use some kind of javascript magic to stop me from saving my passwords.
First of all, why should websites try to stop me from saving my password? Do they really think its more secure if people have to write their passwords on stickynotes on their monitor to remember them--or worse, use the same password on all sites? I what way is it conceivably more secure? In any case it's MY business how I manage my passwords--not theirs!
I have had some success in battling evil sites that try to stop my from saving my passwords by editing the nsLoginManager.js file. But this is not convenient as I must keep doing this every time firefox gets upgraded, and it doesn't work for some sites like American Express which I think use some sort of javascript to stop me from doing what I want.
So my question is, how can I effectively make firefox remember ALL the passwords I want, when _I_ want to--and NOT obey evil websites that just want to practice CYA while actually making me LESS secure?

How can you set up a password protected folder in OSX 10.8.2

I'm trying to set up password protected folder on a new mac desktop. Version 10.8.2
I have done this before in Mountain Lion and previous OS versions by creating a "Disk Image" in the disk utitlity. It's been easy. But in this newer version, it doesn't give me the same options that I've seen in the past nor see on many online posts. And when I try to create, it just gives me an error message saying there is not enough space, which is crazy as there is over 500GB open.
Any ideas?

It still works in Disk Utility (DU):
1. Determine one file that shall be inside the DMG, e.g. one on the Desktop (obviously, you can delete it later again). say it's xyz.jpg.
2. In DU, without a drive selected, click New Image.
3. Expand to Finder-like view by clicking on the arrow next to Save As.
4. Click on xyz.jpg, even if greyed out. It will show up under Save As with the .dmg suffix.
5. In the bottom part, select Name, Size, and all other parameters. You want encryption, so pick one, then click Create.
6. Next, enter and remember your password. Probably you will NOT want it to be remembered in Keychain...
7. That's it: at the same location as xyz.jpg you now have xyz.dmg. In the Finder it's open, and you can manage its content until you eject it.

IF you have your branches set up as "Profit Centers", then you can run an individual trial balance on each profit center as follows...
Reports > Financials > Trial Balance > Trial Balance - Selection Criteria Window
On the Selection Criteria Window, uncheck "BP" box and then select the account categories/accounts you want to have in the trial balance.
Then select the "Expanded" button in the lower right hand corner and it leads to the Expanded Selection Criteria Window.
Select the individual Profit Center (branch) you want and then run the report...you might want to then run a report with all branches as a control/audit report...

i faced a problme currently. we have a training system which a lot of people have full authorization.
my users password have been changed several times by someone else. so i do not know if i can make it unchangable? and do you know if i can make the system do not lock my user after failed login attempt.

Have a look at grouping users and make sure the trainers are in a group that cannot be modified by the trainees. As a security consultant I tend to disbelieve anyone who claims to need 'full access'. What is this course about? "How to administer a complete SAP system all alone? "
Apart from that I always tell my trainees to behave or they'll fail the course/test/certification. I always assume I deal with adults when SAP is concerned.

To just add a touch more to George's reply. Acrobat is a PC or Mac based software package. Adobe doesn't sell an iOS-based solution.

Doing what worked in 2006 does not produce password protection even though I have typed one in and re-entered it as requested. Clicking on the Disk image opens it without asking for the password. I am stumped. Many thanks.

Yeah, nobody does. They should put up a custom password save box when you make an encrypted disk image that explains what will happen if you store the password in the keychain.
