How can I make handwriting look heavier in PSE 11?

I have a small handwritten note that I've scanned. When I enlarged it to the size I want to print, the handwriting strokes looked too thin to suit me. How can I make the strokes look thicker? (I'm trying to change the appearance from ball point pen to fine-tip felt marker.) Is there a way to do it easily by selecting the handwriting itself and somehow changing it all at once, or will I have to draw or paint over the strokes? I'm a newbie, so detailed instructions would be most appreciated.

Installed the latest build from webkit.org yesterday and finally got the missing text to be visibla again.
BUT... Normal (text) fonts as set in:
font-weight: normal;
does not look normal... they look like a bold font.
What is the reason for this behaviour?
Can I fix that by changing some settings or do I have to wait for another release of the Safari 3 Beta for windows?

So there isn't any difference between OOO and OOO?
If there's a difference then it's probably Safari's Font smoothing that make it look like its bold. Try to change it to light instead of medium;
Go to Edit > Preference > Appearance -> Font smoothing

You will never accomplish that except by never removing it from the box after purchase. If you don't mind spending money take it to an Apple Store and see if they can replace the rear part of the case. Or you can have a jeweler polish the rear cover.

I'm running the same version of Firefox on one computer in Windows 7 and on another computer in Windows XP. How can I make them look the same? Bookmarks is a button on the right in W7 and a tab at the top left in XP.

I am already running Sync for bookmarks, but I don't understand how to make Firefox have the same format at the top of the screen. I don't want to Sync tabs, so I haven't tried that option.

There is no bookmarks tab, expect you are referring to the bookmarks menu on the menu bar ("File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help") on your XP system.
Once your restore your menus on you Window 7 system, you can get rid of the bookmarks button. After going through the 10 steps below your toolbars on your Windows 7 system will be more usable again and like your XP system, none of which has anything to do with Sync.

i'm using a custom explorerframe.dll in windows explorer. Now I want the firefox navigation bar(back and forward buttons; address bar) to look exactly the same. Is there a script(userchrome.css) that can do this automatically or do i have to port the style and make my own theme?

I am trying to install the NI-VISA 2.01 driver I downloaded from the NI website on a HP-UX 10.2 platform, but it keeps giving me the following error:

I also get errors telling me that files can't be loaded because their missing from source media. What could be causing this? Some of the files are msgrt4.txt,ni7seg24.bdf,ni7seg26, etc... Can these needed files be downloaded anywhere or is the problem linked to the tar archive scenario..

The files were corrupt. Originally I had downloaded the driver files to my PC and used FTP to transfer them to my UNIX machine.
Your tech support rep. suggested I download the driver files via ftp.ni.com to my UNIX machine vs. the PC...this worked great. I am now communicating with my instrument

I have a simple shape...a rectangle filled with a solid color. It is a separator bar on a poster. I want the top of the bar to have highlight and the bottom of the bar to be darkened. (As if I brought it into PS and applied an emboss filter)
I tried using a gradient and got ok results. Is there a better way to do this?

If you count me, now two people want to know how to emboss a simple shape or path in Ai. I already know how to do it in both Photoshop and Fireworks, both a piece of pie, but I (we) must be overlooking something astonishingly obvious in Illustrator.
Why not do it in Photoshop? Because the background from Ps comes along for the ride - even if it's transparent in Ps. And, unless I flatten the embossed path in Fw (converting it to bitmap from vector), the emboss doesn't paste into Ai, and then the background comes along...

Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. For iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier select Size = Medium or Large. For iPhoto 9.5 and later selct 480p.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:
