How can I make insepctor stay on top?

Is there any way to make the inspector stay on top when I switch between applications? I like to work on Pages and Firefox side by side (dragging text from one to the other ect) but when I click on Firefox, inspector disappears. It's very annoying.

We may customize the tool bar thru View > Customize Toolbar.
Asking for features resembling to Word is a good way to make me show my claws.
Simple response: if you want Word features, use Word.

Try setting the text direction with no files open. It should stick for all new files.

I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.

Try a PRAM reset. Hold down Command-Option-P-R while booting until the tone sounds for a third time.

When I change the position of the bookmarks button it always jumps to the same position (in the bookmarks bar). How can I make it stay where I want it to?

When I try to change to position of the symbol for the bookmarks it doesn't matter where I put it, always when I click on "Finish" the button jumps back in the middle of the bookmarks bar, right of the bookmarks and left of two addons (FoxyTunes and Forecastfox).

Sorry, that specific Bookmarks button ''(with the drop-marker down arrow or '''bookmarks''' word)'' is tied to the Bookmarks Toolbar when it is shown, and only appears when the Menu bar is hidden and the Firefox button is showing. It is not a "regular" toolbar button.
There is the original Bookmarks button, in the Customize Palette, which toggles the Bookmarks Sidebar view. It will stay where you put it on the Toolbars.

I love cooking and baking from online sites with my IPad in the kitchen.
Whenever I cook and then return to check on the recipe, it has gone to sleep and needs password etc.
I understand that the sleep time can be adjusted, but it suits me well for all other activities, so I was hoping that I could set a particular time for this particular activity.

Not sure what you mean by "turns off". Are you saying that the light on the Express goes out after 15 minutes?
Assuming that it is functioning correctly, the AirPort Express is "always on". It has no type of "sleep" setting.
If the power light on the Express remains on, you have some other device on the network that is going into a standby mode or sleep mode. Check the Preference settings on other devices on the network.

How can I make email messages stay on my computer?

Up till now I had a .me mail account and I used POP. Now I've moved to iCloud, and apparently am forced to use IMAP.
I have an iMac on which I want to keep all my mail, deal with it, archive it, etcetera. And I have an iPad on which I occasionally check my mail when away from my desk, and on which I don't want to keep any mail. Up till now I used to delete all mail on my iPad as soon as I was sure it was stored on my iMac. But apparently that doesn't work anymore. I emptied the IN box on my iPad, and now the IN box on my iMac is empty too, as, I just noticed to my horror, is the SENT box there. There used to be quite a number of mails I absolutely needed to keep, and some I still have to answer …
How can I make sure that the mail I want to be on my iMac really gets there and stays there for as long as I choose to keep it (other than not throwing away any mail anywhere, which will eventually fill my Cloud)? Will it be enough to move all mail in the IN and SENT box to a corresponding box in the "On My Mac" section?
Any advise would be more than wellcome.

You have already worked it out, make local folders (doesn't matter what you call them) and put mail that you wish to keep, but not keep on the server in the local folders, as long as the folders are 'On your Mac' they will not appear on your other devices.
As a bonus when you change your mind and want a piece of mail 'globally' accessible just move it from the local folder back to the iCloud account folder.

Add extra empty toolbars if you want to see more of the persona. 
You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize 
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.

There r two ways ways to display image.
1)As background image
2)using graphic node.
To display image as background.
click on page node.
choose background picture options
enter the path of the image.enter the resolution and output mode in the output attributes.
enter the horizontal and vertical positions where the image to be displayed in the page.
To display image using Graphic node.
Add a graphic node into the window where u want the image to be displayed.
In the General attribute enter the path and the resolution.
Hope ur problem get solved.
