How can I make my old Homepage take me directly to my new iWeb site???

Is there I way I can have it so people don't first have to "land on" a .Mac homepage and then push a "button" to get to the new iWeb site?
It would be GREAT if anyone knew a way to do this... I am so excited with my new site, but need it to replace my old .Mac homepage (or at least make it so people are automatically redirected to the new iWeb page)
Anyone have some ideas??

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store

I believe that would be because the usernames on the two computers are different. You will have to change the ownership of everything you copy over from the old computer or change the username on the new computer so it's the same as the one on the old computer. Doing this is a bit complcated:

Changing file ownership is a bit easier. If you have copied all the files from the old computer into the Home folder of the new computer then do this:

The iphone is not a backup/storage device. It simply mirrors the selected content of your computer.
You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've authorised your account on your new Macbook then you should be able to log into your account on your Mac's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then reauthorise the Mac (and any other computers that you still have and need).

You will need to use that old Apple ID and password to update any apps you purchased using that account. So you will either need to recover that Apple ID, which if you forgot the password you should be able to reset here:

I accidently put my old 2nd generation Ipod nano through the washer a few years ago. Well after that it would no longer work do to water damage. After a while i got a new Ipod (the same type) and was able to get new songs to put on it and what not. Well i was playing around with the one i washed opne day and found that i could still restore it on iTunes. However, it wont let me restore it without losing all of my music and what not that i got for the new one. I would like to continue to use the old one, but I am afraid of losing all of my current stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can restore the old and keep the new? How can I move my old messages from my PC to my new Macbook (not the profile, just the messages)?

I have used Thunderbird for years as I am a business owner who needs to keep a copy of old emails. I have just changed from a PC to a Macbook pro, and want to move all my old archived messages from the past 2 or 3 years to my Mac, including non-archived messages (Sent & Trash) from this year. I have already created my profile in the new Mac, and have been using it for the past couple of weeks. (By the way, this is a POP mail profile.) Now I just want to move the old messages over. Which exact files do I copy and paste, and into which folders? If the folders do not yet exist, I guess I need to create them first. But where on the Mac? I have found (on my old PC) the "Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/username/ directory with Archives and Trash subdirectories. But each directory seems to have a name (like "Inbox", or "Sent" or "2013") and another file with the same name, but an ".msf" suffix (like "Inbox.msf" or "Sent.msf" or "2013.msf"). Thanks in advance to any who can help.

The file structure is a little complex. I will use inbox as an example.
Inbox (a large file with no file extension)
Inbox.msf ( An index of inbox with tags etc. Can be deleted with only loss of tags)
Inbox.sdb (a folder, indicating that the folder within Thunderbird has a sub folder.
POP mail is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/[Server name]/
Local folder is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/Local Folders/
As long as you do not overwrite, you can copy and paste whole folder trees into local folders (stuff on your old computer under a mail account is best relocated to local folder and then sorted as necessary afterwards.
Note that you should delete foldertree.json after making those sorts of copies (it forces a full refresh of the folder tree, no cache) and under no circumstances copy data with Thunderbird running. It can irrevocably corrupt things

How can I combine an old Apple ID database with my current new apple ID

My boss used an old forgotten Apple ID and we found an old IPOD and used touch copy to move the data(music) from the ipod back into I-Tunes. When trying to play we found two problems. One is we no longer use the Apple ID tied to the music files and two we no longer use the e-mail address. She wants to combine her purchases with her new I-Touch.
Is there anyway around this?
