How can I make Picture frame my automatic lock screen

I would like to be able to set up my iPad 2 so that when it's locked in the dock, it will automatically start picture frame isntead of having a still picture for the bacground. Is that possible? Thanks for the help!

Can't make it automatic, but it's just two clicks away: Home button, then the flower icon button next to the unlock slider.

Did you try dragging the corner to stretch the screen? Or the green traffic light?
If so, try pressing the green traffic light while holding the option key... or delete the .plist for iTunes or edit it manually.

You just need to look in Help for the Sound class and possibly SoundChannel... if you have an MP3 in your library - right click it, and go to properties. Set the sound to export for ActionScript - and give it a class name - mySound will work. Then you can make it play with something as simple as:
var a:SoundChannel = new mySound().play();

Yes, unfortunately apple did get rid of picture frame with ios7 and a lot of people are complaining about it. Pretty annoying cos I like to use my iPad to display photos. Now we have to rely on third party apps.

This is not really possible, since there are any number of free utilities on the Internet that will reveal a "hidden" network in seconds. Anyone who wants to see your network will be able to do so very quickly and easily.
iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad often have difficulty connecting to a "hidden" network as well.
If you still want to do this......
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the next page
Click the Wireless Options button near the bottom of the page
Enter a check mark in the box next to Create hidden network
Click Save
Click Update at the lower right of the window and allow a minute for the Time Capsule to restart

Text messages don't always send; I get a red flag message. How can I make them re-send automatically?

This drives me nuts: Occassionally, but not often, I will send a text message and it does not go through. This happens both when I am using iMessage or regular text messages. It gets me into a lot of trouble: I assume my text message has gone through, then check my phone half an hour later and realize the message has not been sent. I don't even get a vibration or a notice that it hasn't sent; it's only when I check my messages that I see the red flag but my undelivered message.
How can I get the iPhone to just automatically keep trying to re-send these messages until it goes through, or at the very least to give me a notification buzz when the message doesn't go through so I know to manually re-send it myself?

At this time that option does not exist. The only workaround that I can think of is to watch and make sure the text sends before closing the app.

How can I make picture fit into screen

There's a picture on the Internet that I want to print, but it's slightly too tall to fit into my screen. I've tried changing the resolution. I've also gone to Apple>System Preferences>Displays>Geometry, but nothing there does the job. If I could rotate the image 90 degrees, I believe I could get the ENTIRE image on my screen, but the Rotate button only makes the picture tilt slightly. The Height adjustment doesn't help, either.
Is there a way to rotate the picture 90 degrees, or is there any other way get the picture to fit into my screen? Yes, I've also dragged (stretched-out) the picture as far as I could.

The answer to your question depends a several things.
Changing the screen resolution or "geometry" does
not change how something is printed. So is your
question the right question. Are you trying to make
it "fit into your screen"? Or are you trying to
make it print on a single sheet of paper?
NOTE: If the goal is to fit it on the screen, there
are many ways you can do that. Maybe the easiest is
to select Print in whatever program you are using to
see the image. In the Print dialog window, click the
Save as PDF... button. This will allow you to save
the page printout as a PDF file. Double-clicking on
the file should open it in Preview app. In Preview,
you can adjust the "magnification" to make it all fit
on your screen.

I've copied it because it contains useful information that I might need in the future; for now, however, I somehow managed to stumble into a solution while waiting for a reply. Oh, now I realize where I had gone wrong, and why I was finally succesful. At first, I tried to copy the screen by using the COMMANDSHIFT4. And, as you know, when using this system, you can only print what is on the screen. Later, well, I'm already a little fuzzy on what I did, but I didn't use the "Screen Capture" method. You can only turn it off if you have a passcode on the lock screen - in which case you do it via Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Picture Frame off. If you don't have a passcode lock then you can't disable it

I recently had to get a new hard drive installed on my Air. Now the contents of the Pictures folder are not in iPhoto. This never happened with my old hard drive. What do I need to do so that my pictures automatically go to iphoto. PLUS, there are now two Pictures folders....
