i'm making a short film in "premiere" and i want to add some text effect
so i using "after effect" for the text effect...
my question is how can i make text in 4 colors (which each letter get 1 diffrent colors from each corner)
i know how to do it in the premiere but i couldnt find this option in after effect

Select the text you wish to adjust with the Text Selection tool.
Click on the text colour box in the Text Pallete and select a colour.
Repeat with each new section of text.

Do just what the fish reads: Enveloping
Object > Envelope > Make
You can use predefined geometry or your own shapes or meshes. See the manual for details.

I can't figure out how to get very simple text effects/transitions such as bringing text from the side of the frame to "slide" into place. This has been a text effect of every program for a decade, is this basic transition available in 6? Apparently if your resolution is too low or the workspace isn't allowing "space" for a full effects window to show up, the whole thing shows up blank and grey. How obnoxious! By closing my properties tab on the right (after many other fixes including making those pngs) it showed up.

I was used to work with Preview as an editing program. Now, after the update to Mavericks, I miss some useful features. In Preview are only five colors and I need the whole palette of colors to mark texts. Do you know if this features is gone or if I merely can't find them?

How can I make text substitutions learn the correct capitalization of an acronym?

I love the text substitutions function in the Mac OS, and the auto grammar and spelling corrections are usually really useful, but there is one particular instance that is driving me insane. In my job, I end up using the acronym "TAs" (for "teaching assistants") all the time. Mac constantly autocorrects this to "Tas." I have tried adding "tas" to text substitutions in the settings and telling it to substitute "TAs," but it just autocorrects my substitution to "Tas." I have tried telling the OS to learn the spelling "TAs," but that hasn't worked either. I don't want to turn off capitalization correction altogether because I usually find it useful. Is there a way to fix this one word? The only workaround I have found is that it doesn't correct me when I pluralize with an apostrophe (as in "TA's"), but I am really not a fan of that.
I am running Mavericks 10.9.5, if that helps.

Using Yosemite I added
tas to Keyboard ====> Text
so that TAs becomes TAs
It worked via Safari 8.03
via Pages and Numbers (3.5.2)
It did not work in BBEdit
nor Firefox
nor Word

Assuming this is a web form...
You do that by adding a field that is "Text Field (Multiline)" and sizing it appropriately. It's possible to set both a minimum and a maximum limit the number of characters in a field. If your field is sized too small, text will still be able to be entered, and will export just fine, but just might not display fully when viewing on the web or when printing the web page.

I'm creating an image for the web with a logo and text - the logo comes out ok, the text is all blurry. I've messed around with saving for web but no luck. It has to be a gif or a jpg.

Have you ticked Anti-Aliasing? At least in older versions, it is hidden away in the Image Size part.

When talking about a specific image posting the image may be useful.
One can use a Layer Mask and add a white Layer underneath.
