How can I make the Smooth Scrolling option in the Advanced menu apply ONLY to the tab bar?

So, I'm one of those people who usually have 60+ tabs open at any given time. I'm also on a Lenovo laptop with a trackpoint (that may be relevant later).
Right now, I have smooth scrolling disabled.
In previous versions of Firefox, if I sat my cursor on the tab bar and scrolled either up or down, it would scroll across my tab bar at a constant, quick rate, usually taking about two or three seconds to reach the end. This wasn't an animated scroll (I've disabled that animated scroll via about:config in the current Firefox version).
However, now, it's doing something different. There's acceleration to the scroll. If I just tap the scroll in either direction, it scrolls only a few tabs. However, if I hold the scroll for a second, it instantaneously takes me to the far end of the tab bar, completely skipping at least thirty tabs in between.
I have tab scroll buttons added by Tab Mix Plus (smooth scrolling is also not enabled in that addon), and the same accelerating behavior occurs there. One or two taps of the button moves the bar a few tabs to the left or right, but several taps in quick succession takes me all the way to the far end of the bar.
I can restore the old scrolling behavior for the tab bar by turning on smooth scrolling in the Options > Advanced menu, but that turns on smooth scrolling for web pages at the same time. I don't like the web page smooth scrolling, and would rather not have it on.
Or if there's any other way to make it so that scrolling the tab bar moves the tab bar a fixed amount no matter what, that would be great.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

3D bar charts export as jagged PDFs - how can I make them smooth?

I want to export my 3D bar charts as PDFs, but they export without anti-aliasing or smooth vector lines. The bars are jaggy, not clean. How can I make them higher quality?
I've checked my system settings and those in Acrobat 7 Professional, the 'smoothing' is turned on. I can't find any similar posts here either.
Any ideas?

Hello. How can I make it so firefox remembers which links I've visited as on the music singles pages for longer periods of time and more links?

I frequently use the singles pages on wikipedia, for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:2012_singles&from=D
So I had already clicked on the links some months ago on the 2012 singles pages, but firefox forgot that I had clicked on the links there. How can I make it so it remembers for longer periods of time without causing problems to firefox? Also, I want it to remember what links I've clicked on the 2013 singles pages, because I am also keeping up with that. Can I tell firefox to remember all history for these pages, such as 2012 singles, or 2013 singles specifically? I just want firefox to remember what links I've visited, as in, the songs in the 2012/2013 singles pages, and not forget those, because I have already downloaded those so I want firefox to keep track. What are my options? Please let me know, and I hope you understand the problem I am describing.

My Firefox remembers history from over a year ago, and unless you are using a setting or external tool to clear it, or load huge numbers of pages/download huge numbers of files, Firefox should pretty easily remember links you've accessed in recent months.
To see what Firefox has computed as the number of URLs to remember, you can check here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''.hist''' and pause while the list is filtered

What happened to the "smooth scrolling" option? It used to be in the preferences menu, but now iPhoto just jumps through events...

There used to be an option to make scrolling smooth in iPhoto, but since some update, it no longer exists. I dislike non-smooth scrolling because the events just jump up the page and it is difficult to follow them with a sensitive trackpad (which I prefer in other applications).

In what mode are you referring to? Photos? With or without Event Titles displayed? In the Photos mode with titles displayed there is a bug regarding scrolling down the events with some of the events open and some closed or all closed. But with all events open or titles not showing it seems the same as it was in iPhoto 8 (09).

check the GL accounts field status variant attached to the Invoice posting.
also check in PO whether u have the BA field filled up. in case u r using BA accounting then that value shld be there..... as u said u dont want to put BA as field in miro , that means u r not using BA thing... so u can always maintain all the FSV of GL for BA as optional/supressed...

How can I make iMessage work on 2 iPhones with 2 different phone numbers using the same Apple ID?

My work requires me to split time between two countries (Ph and Bn). I had an iPhone 4 with a Ph number and a Nokia for the Bn number. iMessage was running on the iPhone 4 with the Ph number and my apple ID. I recently replaced the Nokia with an iPhone 5 which I set up using the iCloud back up of my iPhone 4. I cant seem to set up iMessage (and Facetime) the way I want it to work on the iPhone 5. Im not sure if iOS 6 would allow me to do this so I'm throwing this out to the forums to check if its possible.
iPhone 4 w/ iOS 6
- uses Ph sim card
- Ph number set in Phone>My Number
- iMessage>Send & Receive has the following data
Ph Number - greyed outand checked
Apple User ID - checked
iPhone 5 w/ iOS 6
- uses Bn sim card
- Bn number set in Phone>My Number
- iMessage>Send & Receive has the following data
Ph number greyed out and not checked

Ive tried turning on/off my iPhone 5 and logging on and off iMessage but I cant seem to get it to update the iMessage phone number to the Bn number. Any idea how I can do this?

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I wanted to see if this following AppleScript could be used as a control-click menu, so when I click on a folder, I can choose to run this script so set an icon as the folder image, instead of having to select both the image and the location. In other words, can I have a one-click method to set, say "cover.jpg" or "1.jpg" as the folder icon? Any help is appreciated.

My company bought CS5.5 Creative Suite, and one of my coworkers used our license for Dreamweaver on his computer. Now he has left the company, and I would like to install the license on my computer so I can use it from my station.
When we installed the software on his computer, we simply downloaded the trial version and then entered our serial number. However, now I can only find the download for CS6, and putting my serial number in there for CS5.5 does not magically download that version for me, unfortunately.
Does anyone know how I can install the license on my computer? I thought it would be allowed to have it on two computers, just only one computer would be able to access the software at a time. I just need to figure out how to install it...

I talked to Adobe staff, and apparently I needed to use the Adobe licensing website, licensing.adobe.com. I'll need to talk to my IT department, who bought the software, to get the account information for the site, but I'm on the way to success!

I've employed the "simple PID.vi" without a problem, but your example is more complex. I think you use a Function generator to modulate DAQ inputs?
Perhaps someone else will be able to infer your intention and identify a flaw in the logic.
In case someone else wants to run your VI, it may help to build/attach an .llb (some sub-VIs are needed by the VI you atached.)
To build the .llb, save your VI with Development Distribution options (Alt-F,Alt-W) and attach the .LLB
1) \File\Save with Options
2) select Development Distribution
3) Save
4) choose "New VI Library"
But first, It would be helpful to us if you clean-up the code - straighten wire-paths, minimize bends in wires, and try to avoid "tall" diagrams. Scrolling diagrams up and down is "bad form". If scrolling is necessary, left&right is preferrable!
