in ur RSA1 session click on the customise local layout or press ALT+F12..
you will get a list of menu options..
click on font and change the font size and the font design to whichever u desire..
in the same customise local layout u can even change the color and do many other visual changes.

How can I make sure the text size on front panel will be adjusted by itself from PC to PC?

In my VIs under VI Properties -- Window Size, I checked the two boxes:
--Maintain proportions of window for different monitor resolutions
--Scale all objects on front panel as the window resizes
It seems that it worked for everything on front panel except the pure text wording that I put there for instruction purpose. The size of those text stuff didn't get changed proportionally after my application was built and run on different machines so some of them got cut off and looked messy.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thank you for looking at my problem!
Both my development system and test system are Window XP. The font size are all set to Normal. What other details do you need to know?
The text on front panel shows well on my development machine. But when the .exe runs on my test machine, the text size was not adjusted by itself so the text body got cut off.
I found a way to "fix" this problem: I had to drag the text box down and right so there is enough magin between the text body and the box on the right and at the bottom. I had to try it a few times until it finally shows well on my test machine. However, with those magins, it doesn't look nice on my development machine anymore. Also, I only tried on one test machine, if it looks good on one test machine, will it look good on all the other machines? Eventually my app is going to run on Window 7. I'll have to test that out and find out if it's still going to be a problem. Anyway, I don't feel this is the right way to do it. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about and have a soluction to it.

How can i make the Aperature type size larger?

I use Aperature and find the type face very small and want to find a user setting to make it larger. Anybody know how to do this?

i am using the method Kirby suggested - change the resolution of the display to "scaled", otherwise it would be impossible for me to read anything in the Inspector panel.
But the severe drawback is, that this reduces the resolution of the images shown in the Viewer as well, and the photos will look less sharp. So you will have to toggle between screen resolutions, or connect a second display for the viewer with a better resolution setting.
Or set up the "zoom" controls in the "System preferences > Accessibility" Preferences. This will let you zoom in on parts of the screen.
None of these work-arounds is satisfactory. Please use the feedback form that Frank Caggiano linked to and send feedback. Personally, I'd send this using the "Report a problem with Aperture" and not as a feature request. After all, this is a usuability problem, if you are not able to read any text, unless you scale down the image resolution as well.

To reduce the image size till thumbnail size .Go to File menu >> save for web.
Here save in the form of png , gif by reducing desirable size.

How can I make Mail use different IMAP folders?

As I was hoping to switch to Apple Mail from Thunderbird I have both live on my machine. The core principle behind IMAP is that you can use a central resource to synchronise multiple devices, but I have just discovered where my missing email went: Apple seems use a different folder to store sent messages than Thunderbird (or MS software, or practically any other bit of kit I have been using with IMAP). Brilliant idea - this more or less nukes any corporate deployment without a lot of prior planning..
Given the volumes involved it would be *massively* simpler if I could just tell Apple Mail where to store its "Sent" (and Draft) messages, but it appears that this is not possible so I'll have to do some butchering in Thunderbird to get this straight. Anyone with a different opinion?

You would take the Sent folder under an IMAP account, highlight it, and under Mailboxes in the menu, choose Use This Mailbox For, and select Sent. That will map the sent messages from the IMAP account to the main Sent folder. You do this for the other mailboxes like Trash, Drafts or Junk also if you wish to map them to the main mailboxes.
Note that doing this will move any local mailboxes created for that account out of the main and they will be replaced by the IMAP mailboxes.

Some mail programs, including Apple Mail, can reduce the size of images that are attached to a message. It's happening at the sender's end, and all you can do is ask the sender for a larger image.

my problem is that i use the PDF printer to export CAD drawings as PDF´s.
As it is now, there are some pre-defined page sizes in the print settings, and i know i can add custom pages manually one at a time.
What i want is to copy the list of my danish standard page sizes, and use them on my other versions of acrobat.
Its like 70 different sizes, and i have them made manually on my current computer, but i hope its possible to copy the list to other computers.
Maby its some script where i can define the sizes, and then copy to another computer. Im just not that much of a computer genius :-)

How can I make different catalogs from the same image where that image has been changed in some way between the catalogs. For instance if I wanted to have a catalogs for cropped images and have 3 catalogs one for 4x6 , 5x7 and 8x10 cropping. When I tried this , if I changed a file in one catalog that same image in the other would change also.

Do not confuse the creation of the crops and the display in collections per crop ratio.
Of course one virtual copy (VC) per crop ratio is needed. If the same image should be cropped in all 3 mentioned ratios there would be 3 VCs.
The OP asked how to have/see a set of same-crop-ratios.
After having created the virtual copies for whatever crop ratio he wants, the way to display this result in the fashion asked for is via smart collections, provided they can be found. Without a plugin the naming of the VC with the crop ratio applied is a straight way to achieve that.
IF the wish is to get new crops automatically added. (See my answers 2+3)
IF the wish is to creat static collections per crop ratio for a certain set of images, I'd go as follows:
1. Select all images you want to have cropped in that way,.
2. With this selection click on the + to add another collection and fill the dialog box like this:
Then navigate into this newly created selection and perform the 4x6 crop - according to taste individually or by synchronizing the first crop.

I subscribed with my apple id to itunes match and it automatically updates apps, music, books etc. However the apple id of my husbands phone is not recognized so his music, apps etc are not automatically updated. The same happens with icloud.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

How can I make my PDF document a smaller file size

I am using photoshop cs3. I have a 8.5 x 11 document. It includes images and text. It is 5.48 MB. How can I make to file size smaller??? This is for print so I need to keep the quality of the image.
