How can I manage the songs recommended to me in emails?

So a while back I bought some gag songs to put together a compilation. Now I get near weekly emails from iTunes telling me about all the new songs I might like based on those gag songs. How can I get itunes to stop recommending those to me? Is there a way to have it ignore certain songs in my purchase history so I only get recommended songs I might actually care about?

Remove the checkmark to sync music on the phone and perform a sync. That should remove all of the music. Then on the music tab, select just what you want, whether you want just a playlist that you create, or certain checked music. Then perform another sync.
