    I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/
    I hope this helps.

  • How can I create multiple PDF files from multiple InDesign files?

    I have 144 InDesign files that I need to create a PDF file for each. I do not want to open each InDesign file to create the PDF's. Acrobat Batch create won't open the InDesign files. Is there another way?

    Only InDesign can do this. You may want to look at InDesign automation.

  • How can I merge multiple wav files in Premiere?

    Hi Everyone,
    So after I import my synced timeline from Plural Eyes and replace the audio clips I notice that the new XML file has multiple wav files for each of my cameras. I do know that dragging these wav files together increases the gain. Is there a way to have these wav files joined to make one solitary track and file with only one level? TIA
    Mike Diaz

    The best method I can think of is to skip PluralEyes and all the issues that come with it.
    1. Create a sequence matching your media.
    2. Add the clips, sync manually.
    3. Create a second sequence matching your media.
    4. Nest the first sequence into the second.
    5. Right click that nested sequence, choose Multi-Camera>Enable.

  • How can you convert multiple PDF files at once to PDF/A-1b files

    I support individuals who on occasion have to submit a mass of files to a court and the requirement is that the files be in PDF/A format. Most are scanned files lacking the requisite structure to become PDF/A-1a files. So as I convert or resave files, I need to be able to specify that they be converted to the PDF/A-1b standard. And since it may involve over 100 files, it would be very inefficient to do so individually, file by file. Could this be done via an Action Wizard sequence? Could a script be written in Java that go through such a process, specifically choosing a PDF/A standard? Any insights would be appreciated.

    PDF/A-1a is very easy to automate in Acrobat XI Pro, indeed the compliance code was rewritten specifically with this in mind. Test Screen Name is correct that PDF/A-1b can't be realistically automated due to the complexity of tagging, but that's not your concern.
    In Acrobat XI Pro, create a new Action with no functional steps in it, then add the Save step.
    Click 'Settings' and change the output format to "Export File(s) to Alternate Format"
    Choose PDF/A from the list. It doesn't say so, but that's A-1b.
    I suggest using the file renaming feature so you're not overwriting the originals (e.g. append "_A1B")
    Save the Action and run it.
    Files with security, distributed forms, etc. can't be converted but the Acrobat engineering team claim that everything which can possibly be shoehorned into PDF/A will always succeed. In previous versions of Acrobat it often failed when it encountered things like iffy XMP data.

  • How can I print multiple pdf files?

    Some of the pdf documents we work with are are architectural plans. One file might contain several pages or it might contain just one. Typically we will print several files at a time, either by opening each or just dragging to the printer. A frustrating part of this is that we cant seem to control the order in which they print, ie file1..file2..file3.
    Using Reader 8.1.2. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hi pharmovative,
    You can use the Combine PDF feature of Adobe PDF pack to combine multiple PDF files into one document. (Or, if you have the full version of Acrobat, you an do it there as well by choosing Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.)
    Please let us know if you need further assistance.

  • How do i combine multiple pdf file into a single pdf file?

    how do i combine multiple pdf files into a single pdf file?

    The thread was started in early March and it's Mid-April, I know this very well. The OP of this thread posted a very common and simple question or maybe he/she would have resolved this. For an Adobe Acrobat user it's not at all difficult to combine multiple PDF files into one. But to combine PDF files full version of Adobe Acrobat is mainly required, otherwise PDF files can't be combined. For example, I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. These simple steps are mainly required to combine PDF files:
    Open Adobe Acrobat.
    Click on Combine and click on Merge files into a single PDF.
    A window will be appearing, click on Add Files and select the PDF files you want to combine.
    Arrange the selected files in any order with the help of Move Up and Move Down button.
    Now click on Combine File and the selected PDF files will be combined within a few seconds.
    A new PDF file will be created. Click on Save As and name this new PDF file. Then, click on Save.
    A new PDF file will be created and all the selected PDF files are combined in it. The steps shown above might be different in other versions of Adobe Acrobat. Other than this, some third-party PDF merge software are also available. Most of them are available with a demo version for free evaluation. I've heard much about SysInfoTools PDF Merge software on other forums and directories and it's demo version is freely available. One may check its demo version if Adobe Acrobat (full version) is not available.

    Hi Flávia,
    Adobe PDF Pack is an online subscription--it definitely allows you to combine several files into one PDF file. For more information about PDF Pack, see Reliably Create PDFs, Convert PDFs, & Merge PDFs Online | Adobe PDF Pack. If you don't have the full version of Acrobat, this is a great solution for combining PDF files.
    However, if you're using Acrobat (not Adobe Reader), you combine files by following these steps:
    Open a PDF file that you want to add pages to.
    Click the Pages pane on the Tools panel (on the right side of the application).
    Click Insert From File, and choose the file that you want to combine with the PDF that you opened in step 1.
    Make any changes necessary in the Insert Pages dialog box--these settings determine where the new file will be inserted.
    Click OK.
    Please let me know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

  • How do I merge multiple Excel files with more than one tab in each file using PowerQuery?

    Hello
    I have 12 Excel (.xlsx) files and each file has three identically named and ordered tabs in them.
    I know how to merge multiple Excel files in a folder using M (those guides are all over the web) but how do I merge multiple Excel files with multiple (yet identically named and ordered) tabs? Surely it is possible? I just don't know how to do it in M.
    Cheers
    James

    What Laurence says is correct, and probably the best thing to do when the sheets have differing structures. Here is an alternate approach that works well when the sheets all have the same structure.
    When you first open the Excel file from Power Query, you can see its structure in the navigator at the right-hand-side of the screen. If you select the root (which is the filename itself) and click Edit, you'll see all the tabs in the sheet as a single table.
    You can now do filtering based on the Name, Item and Kind values. When you've reduced the set of things down to the sheets you want, select the Data column and say "Remove Other Columns". If the sheets don't have any header rows, you can just click the expand
    icon in the header and you'll be done.
    Otherwise, if the sheets have headers or if some other kind of sheet-level transformation is required against each sheet before doing a merge, you'll have to write some M code manually. In the following example, each sheet has a header row consisting of
    two columns: Foo and Bar. So the only step I need to perform before merging is to promote the first row into a header. This is done via the Table.TransformColumns operation.
    let
        Source = Excel.Workbook(File.Contents("C:\Users\CurtH\Desktop\Test1.xlsx")),
        RemovedOtherColumns = Table.SelectColumns(Source,{"Data"}),
        PromotedHeaders = Table.TransformColumns(RemovedOtherColumns,{{"Data", each Table.PromoteHeaders(_)}}),
        ExpandData = Table.ExpandTableColumn(PromotedHeaders, "Data", {"Foo", "Bar"}, {"Data.Foo", "Data.Bar"})
    in
        ExpandData

    How do I merge 2 pdf files into one file?

    I use PrimoPDF (free download) to create pdf files. To merge two docs/pdfs/etc., print the first to a new pdf using Primo. Close it, then print the second and save it to the same new pdf. Primo gives you the option to 'append' or 'overwrite' the original file. By using 'append', you are just adding it to the back of the existing file. You can do this repeatedly to resort or combine existing pages into a new pdf.
    Also, I'm using Adobe Reader X.

  • Merging Multiple PDF Files in C# using Acrobat 7.0

    I'm trying to merge multiple pdf files into one pdf file. Does anyone have sample or psuedo code for this?

    Basicly, there has not much changed since version 5 so you can use also vers. 8 SDK / IAC section.
    The command you to use is "insert", where the first page has to be opened and the other pages will be inserted.
    If you google for PdDoc.insert you may get tons of examples and maybe also in C.
    If you use Acro-Javascript via IAC you may find an example direct in the AcroJs helpfile.
