How can I modify the text of the automatically created emails of WAS 6.40.

Hi community,
I have a question. How can I change the text of then email which ist automatically send by the EP6/WAS6.40 when I create a new user. The email displays the message "Dear Sir or Madam, your user xzy was created with the following password xxx."
How can I modify this text. Where is it located in the Enterprise Portal / WEBAS 6.40 .

Not easily or readily available as of now. It WILL be part of the new features in the NetWeaver 04 release. (*This same question was asked in my EP6 certification class one week ago and this is the answer I got.)

There is a hidden setting to open the new tab at the end of the bar instead of next to the page you're reading. Then, of course, you won't have this problem. Instead, you'll have the problem that it's hard to figure out which tab had that link in it. In case you want to try it out, here's how.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''tabs''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent''' preference to switch it from true to false (it should turn bold)
You're done here. You can keep it open in case you hate the change and watch to switch it right back. In that case, double-click again to switch it back to true.

How can I modify ONE CHARACTER in the file name???

I have in right side meta tag panel a file name , original name and copy name fields.
The file was already renamed. So i am not interested original file name ,anyway i cant click on it.
I would like to modify ONE +"!/"%/"+! CHARACTER in filename field which is 50 characters long.
If I click on it gives me an batch rename window.
If I click copy name I have to write all from zero BECAUSE I CANT COPY the filename field.
so here we are in 21st century
I have a solution: i copy the filename from vista explorer and paste it in copy name BUT what if I have to do this hundreds time???

First, what has the copy name to do with file name? I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of the copy name field. It is for giving a virtual copy a distinctive name.
Now for file naming... if I understood correctly, you want to edit the name right in the Metadata panel, but the file name field is non-editable. This is a bug. It is exhibited when you have multiple files selected and change the metadata panel view. You can temporarily fix it by selecting a single file in the grid and changing the metadata panel view from All to Default or vice versa (see the attached screenshot). Now that the field became editable, you change on character.
If you want to do it for hundreds of files using a template, then would be nice if you provide your source and target filename templates.

How can i change a text on the frontpanel?

i have a cluster which looks like the attached cluster but with more and smaller quadrants.
Now i want to add a text above each column. This can be done with a description. But now i want to load the description dynamically from somewhere (file, global) so that it must be changeable. But it seems not to be possible to change the text of a decoration.
What other possibilities are there to add a text above the cluster? I tried to to it with a text-array but there i cant make the text be shown like in the description (counterclockwise).
Thx for any ideas.

you can get acces to them using the property node, but you can´t change the value. You can use boolean controls to do it.

Is there anyone that knows how to change the default text in
the e-mail invitations? I want to change the english text to
somthing in my language.

I have wondered that myself... I have even asked... everyone
says it's not an option. I could be wrong... I would have to defer
to the Adobe guys. I am on Connect everyday doing something with
curriculum. I have found several issues that I wish Adobe would
correct or add. I see that the new service pack has addresses one
of them (custom reports) although, I still see bugs.
I would love to be part of the their team that works toward
making it better.
Changing notifications is one thing. As far as language, that
is a different issue.

speed = length x time
make you text shorter, or make the title appear longer to reduce speed.

The text in the tables is hazy when printed in the new version of pages. How can I get this to the same clear text as before?

for exemple : I have 100 contact which live in Paris, I select all of them together, but when I put "Paris" in the field "city", it puts "Paris" only in the fisrt contact !

Just using Address Book this can't be done, but if you are prepared to try a little Applescript it is easy. This script will set the city for example - but only if there is already an address.

How can I delete a name in the address of a texas message? The letter W appears as an addressee in error. The text message was not sent. The other addressess in the message was correct.

if there are going to be a lot of dash characters you could read the string character by character, compare the value of the character with the range of values for a letter in ascii, and not copy it to a new string if it doesn't match. If the odd character out is only going to be a dash, you can search the string for the character, split the string at this point, append it to a string buffer and keep doing this till you're done. Just suggestions :)

as the window resizes the UIcontrols are also resized if wrapping is enabled and they will be in same row.
as u mentioned they are two containers in root container but appears one by one do as below
for root container
set layout - grid layout
colcount - 2
for 1st child container
set layout -grid layout
set colspan - 1
as u requre 3 Ui control in it
set colcount of child container to 3
add the UI controls
set the colspan of UI controls to 1.
do as same for second container
