How can I move drop-down menus?

Whenever I click dropdown menus from my panels (for instance, "Arrowheads" or "Profile" from the Stroke panel), the dropdown menu appears at the top-left of my screen and not below my mouse. Is there a way to move them? See attached picture. Thanks.

Display question - can't see drop-down menus

I'm new to itunes and I somehow have screwed up how the drop down menus display. For example, when I click on File, I can't see the menu (there is a vague outline). If I move down the menu, I can only see what my courser is on, not all of the options on the menu. It's bizarre and it's very difficult to work with. It is only on itunes, all other applications are fine.

Can't access drop down menus

I have CS4 and recently installed Camera Raw 5.2 but the drop down menus for the TAT and Crop tool don't function. I have tried right clicking, shift clicking, control clicking, etc. and nothing works. I tried redownloading Camera Raw 5.2 again, but no improvement. Any suggestions?
I have an Intel iMac, 2.16 GHz, OS X 10.4.11, 3 GB RAM, lots of hard drive space.

How to make conditional drop down menus

I am working on a quick wireframe and would like to user to be able to choose 1 of 4 selection from 5 different drop down menus. Based on the configuration of the 5 menus, I'd like it to take them to a page displaying separate instructions.
So:
Drop down A, selection 1.
Drop down B, selection 2.
Drop down C, selection 1
Drop down D, selection 3
Drop down E, selection 4.
This combination takes them to page 2. A difference selection (e.g., 13114) would take them to a different page.
Any ideas?

I can't get drop-down menus to work, I scroll over & click, NOTHING happens. When clicking on certain thumbnail pics to change the larger view, the pic doesn't change. So annoying! I can't use FF like this. I'm newly updated, 10.0.1. Help anyone?

How can we use Drop Down Field in RTF Template

Hi All,
We have a requirement i.e in the RTF template we have the fields like supplier name,invoice number,invoice amount..etc.And we have a field Total that gives the sum of invoice amount.
Our Requirement is we have to take "Total" field as a Drop down field.When we click on Total field it has to display the invoice numbers and invoice amount based on that Total.
Could any one please provide us any solution.

You want to create an Interactive report - where the parameters are not part of the report, but part of the template?
What is the expected output format PDF, HTML, RTF?
I don't understand how total coudl be a drop down field? Why does total not directly contain the number?
Do you want to generate a form that alllows the user to enter data fields and then recalculate the total
based on the user input? So you want to create a form, not a report?

How can I move video down the timeline?

New user here. Please can anyone help. When you import a picture into Soundtrack, why does it always automatically go to the first frame of your project title. For example, if I want the picture to be at 10 00 00 00, I will put this in the project title import the picture and away we go. However, I would like the opportunity to put a plop 48 frames before the picture. I thought it would be a simple process to drag and drop the picture as you do audio but it appears not to be the case. I have looked everywhere for a solution but to no avail. I should point out, that I am using ST Pro as a stand alone audio device, that is, not alongside Final Cut. I also work in an audio post production studio and am evaluating the possibility of using ST Pro as part of our tools. With this picture restriction, though, it is looking unlikely. Anyone's help and advice on this would be much appreciated. I am aware ST Pro is audio editing only. I use it for that purpose. However, it is an audio to picture tool. For example, in my game, I put audio to tv commercials. Thus, I need the picture to put audio against. I know I can import the picture. My simple question is why, when you import the picture, does it always go to the start of your timeline. So, if I put my start time at 10 00 00 00, I am unable to put anything before that marker. So if I want to put any audio before the picture, whether it be a plop or tone, I can't. I simply want to drag the picture to another time point that will allow to have some potential audio time before the picture. If any of you try to import a picture in a new title, you will see what I mean. If you don't set a timecode, it will put the picture at point zero on the time line and not allow you to bring the cursor before that. If you set a time at 10 00 00 00, again it will not allow you to move the cursor to a point before that point. If Apple were serious about going into the post pro market they should ensure that this works as a stand alone system. I was speaking to them the other day and mentioned this. As I say, it really does seem peculiar that you are unable to perform such a simple exercise.

Hi laser558, everything you say is true. I continue to [maintain|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1385395&tstart=150] that STP is mainly a tool for video editors to work with sound in a better way than they are able to in FCP, and not a mainline tool for audio professionals. Some people may disagree with that, and if they can get the job done that's great, but the more I work with it the more I feel this way. That's not to say the program doesn't have tremendous possibilities, and that eventually STP may become a really useful program for you, but regrettably I don't recommend it for everyone you at this time.
The only way to deal with your dilemna in STP is to edit the movie (say in QTPro) before you import it.

I downloaded Ff v.4, and now my tabs are way on top of the page, above the address bar; how can I move them down to where they were before, just above the window? ...Thanks!

Another problem that was there before v.4, is that the bottom tab hides behind other tabs, so I have to close everything else to get to it. If you have advice on that too, it would be much appreciated.

developer. I know some HTML and am just learning CSS. I am using
Dreamweaver to construct my pages. I dont know java scripting and
dont know how hard it is to do so don't know if this is something I

Making drop down menus in server side includes

Can drop down menus be part of a server side include? If not,
how do I have drop down menus in my pages without copying the code
to all the pages individually?
I am working in Dreamweaver 8 on a Mac. I've made the drop
down menus using the behaviors window. Everything is fine in the
original html file. When I use the file as an include in my main
page, the javascript drop downs do not work. I have the style sheet
used in the drop down file attached to the main page. What do I
need to do with the main page to have the drop down menu work? I
need to use this drop down on the majority of my pages. Thanks!

If your needs are more robust than that simple tool provides,
then you will
not go wrong with others of the menu systems provided there.
I use
PopMenuMagic on about 90% of the sites I build. The only
reasons that
number is not 100% is a) some simple sites just don't need
them, and b) some
sites require a different approach. Again, for what it's
worth, for those
sites that require a different approach, I just use a
different PVII
menu....

Editing Drop Down Menus in Contribute

I have a client who is using contribute and wants to edit
drop down menus. These drop down menus link to individual pdfs and
she changes the names of the pdfs on a regular basis and wants to
update these links in the drop down menus. The site was created in
Dreamweaver. In role preferences of Contribute I turned on the
allow unrestricted editiing which allows form elements to be
edited. However I cannot figure out how to change the drop down
menus. Is there any way to edit the drop down menus fields in
Contribute?

Create a SSI (with PHP f.i.), best in de root of the site,
considering the way Contribute is handling linking.
Call the file something like menu.inc.php.
Provide your client with the url to menu.inc.php in the
Bookmarks or explain the Choose-button in Contribute to open the
file menu.inc.php.
Keep the file simple (ul/li or p) .

Drop down menus, context menus and auto fill menus items don't appear!

I have FF4 beta, this started since FF4 beta 7. I work on Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
The problem is that I can't see drop down menus unless they have alot of items, nor context menus (like highlighting a text then right-clicking it), auto fill bars don't show the auto fill info entered before .. the menu itself appears, kinda. but it's transparent and the I can't see the items, don't know where to click to select the thing I want.
I haven't got this problem before 4.0b7 .. after I got it, I thought it was one of the plugins, so I disabled them all but still have the problem!

Hardware accelaration disabled also worked for me. ATI Radeon 4670.
Seems the issue isn't set on one type of card. My flicker/vanish only did so on my secondary monitor.
