How can I move photos from my shutter fly account to my iPhoto?

How can I move photos from my shutter fly account to my iPhoto?

You need to ask ShutterFly support
I would think that you can select multiple photos and drag them to then desktop and drop them - but that's jsut a guess

Do you want to copy some pictures to the external drive, or do you want to move your whole iPhoto library? The latter will free up hard drive space on your start up disk; the procedure is explained here:

Note this is not the same as a Time Machine backup.
If on the other hand you want to copy some photos from one drive to another, you can just drag and drop them from one location to another. This is a true copy, the originals will remain intact.

It is better to export (file menu ==> export) since when you export you control exactly what you get - see the user tip on exporting for details
When you drag and drop you get the current preview with limited Metadata

One way to move photos from your computer to an iPhone is via iTunes sync: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
Another way is via Photo Stream. The following gives more details and the section titled "When do photos upload to Photo Stream" gives instructions on how to manually control which pictures upload from a computer to an iPhone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486

  • How can I move photos from iphoto to external hard drive?

My internal is full and I'm getting those messages to clean up the drive.  I've determined that my photos need to leave!  Can I move photos from my Air to the hard drive external and still view them?
    Thanks

Make sure the external drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and is connected with a wired connection, quit iPhoto, drag the iPhoto library to the EHD intact as a single entity and launch iPhoto while depressing to option key. Use the resulting select library window to select the new location. Be sure the EHD is available prior to launching iPhoto

  • How can I move photos from photo stream to an Album?

I want to rearrange photos in my photos into Albums.  Can someone tell me how to move photos from photo stream into Albums?

The trick is to move the photos to Camera Roll first then to individual albums.  Used to go direct but not on the 5s - or least that's the best I've come up with.

  • HT2463 How can I move photos from my 1st generation Apple TV back to iPhoto on my computer

Accidently deleted photos from iphoto but they are still on my Apple TV. How can I move them back?

Sure.  Merely dock your Iphone to your computer.  Then, open up Itunes, your phone should show up there.  Click on it and go to the photo section and do as you please.

  • How can I move photos from my phone to my Icloud

You can't. There's no provison in iCloud for that. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

  • How can I move photos from other albums into the camera roll

I have synced photos from my computer onto the iPad. There placed in a different album. How can I move them into the camera roll?

You could do it by setting up a Shared Photo Stream. Select the photos in the Photo app then tap the Shared button selecting Photo Stream. Just don't enter any email address and it will appear on your other devices. Only photos can be added and not albums so you will have to re-organize then on the iPhone.
I would recommend getting the photos to the computer as well though. Create a photo library on the computer and sync then over to the iphone with iTunes. The photo library on the computer can be added to a more reliable backup.

  • How can I move photos from my windows7 pc to my iphone?

Is there any way Without using iTunes that I can move photos from my windows 7 pc to my iphone 5c?  (I don't want to use iTunes because I've had too much touble doing that, with duplicate photos being created on my iphone etc, and then you can't move back to the computer any photos you've synced with iTunes.)  I've tried to copy/paste using windows explorer but that doesn't seem to work.  Does anyone know how to do this?

you can also use google drive or microsoft skydrive or all 3 that's what I do

  • How can I move mail from Gmail to another account?

Mail.app in Mavericks is incompatible with Gmail. I use Gmail. I have about 2GB of mail, most of it in a few dozen archive folders, stored on Gmail, and (I think) duplicated locally on my Mac Mini.
I think my best recourse is to switch to an email service provider that conforms to the IMAP standard (which Gmail does not). Assuming I find one, I will have both accounts, Gmail and the new one, in Mail.app. How can I move the mail from Gmail to the other account?
In Mail.app in Mavericks, All Mail must be marked to show as a folder, and when I move a message from a folder in Gmail it will still be in the All Mail folder.
When all folders are empty, including the Inbox, can I be sure that every message has been moved to the new account, even though every message is still in the All Mail folder?

--> mine's working fine. I know there are issues, but it should work

--> yes, it would be nice if they adhered to standards.  That said, mine works great.  So far.

--> If all you want to do is keep your history, make a local folder on your mac and drag all the mail messages there (both se4nt and incoming).  I am not sure what will happen if you later drag those into the new Xmail account
When all folders are empty, including the Inbox, can I be sure that every message has been moved to the new account, even though every message is still in the All Mail folder?
--> Dont look in "all mail". Open your inbox and look at each individual inbox.
Good luck,. But first, try to fix your account.

  • How can I move photos from one website to another website?

I can't seem to get how to move my photos and pictures I find on the web to another website or my blog. Uupload, download ...it's all Greece to me. No offense intended.

Are your photos in iPhoto or are they stored in folder on your iMac?
Firstly, the two Macs need to be connected, either via ethernet or wirelessly, on the same network.
The same can be achieved by copying the photos from your iMac to an external hard drive and then to your MBP.
You can copy the entire iPhoto library over to your MacBook Pro and replace the existing iPhoto library in the Pictures folder. (Do you have photos in the iPhoto Library on your MBP?)
It is also possible to have more than one iPhoto Library, by giving the library on the iMac a new name, and then copying it over.
