I have two Airport Extremes, one extends the network of the other. How can I not allow wireless access on the remote Extreme when extending a network? I could do it with Airport Utility 5.6, but not with version 6 on Mavericks.

Correct. Use another Mac or even a PC running Airport Utility 5.x. Once you have the extending Extreme configured the way you want, Mavericks will not change the setting on the extending Extreme.

How can you deny bash system access when sourcing a file?

I'm having another one of my "Linux noob" moments. This is probably easy to answer for the experienced bashers here.
I need a bash function to extract data from a PKGBUILD for use in other scripts. I want to write it in such a way that there is no significant risk when checking PKGBUILDs from possibly untrusted sources. It would be unreasonable to request the user to manually inspect every PKGBUILD when only extracting information (i.e. not building the package) and when dealing with many PKGBUILDs.
The function itself is very simple in the unsafe version:
for ARG in $@; do
source "$ARG"
echo "$pkgname $pkgver $pkgrel"
done
The reason that I want to source the file is to catch variable changes within the script (obviously missing the build function, but there are some that change outside of it). Parsing the file externally is likely to miss some changes.
How can I safely source the PKGBUILD? Ideally I want to completely limit access to the system, specifically the users home directory. Is there a way to do this as a user without write permissions? Is this what the "nobody" user is for?
I've considered using chroot but that appears to need root privileges. I want to avoid sudo.

Well, unsetting the PATH seems a good idea, but what if the pkgbuild contains sth like this:
pkgver=$(uname -r)
or any similar manner of dynamically generating one of the variables Xyne's interested in by using a command in a subshell? While the following works (i.e. fails as it should):
~$> OLDPATH=$PATH;export PATH="";/bin/bash -r -c 'foo=$(rm foo);foo=$(/bin/rm foo)';export PATH=$OLDPATH
/bin/bash: rm: No such file or directory
/bin/bash: /bin/rm: restricted: cannot specify `/' in command names
any legitimate use of command substitution will fail as well. Not to mention redirection, which is disabled in a restricted shell as well.
And yes, disabling (possibly) malicious bash builtins may be done as well, but it will fail as well if they are used in a legitimate way.
Using "nobody" also relies on the assumption that the user's files aren't world-writable. I think the only safe solution is using a chroot after all, but maybe I'm missing something here.

When I open a document someone mails to me the close it, the next time I open the app (like Pages) that old document re-opens. How can I stop it? It's absolutely annoying to have 5 other documents open up when I didn't want them in the first place.

By "it", do you mean you close Pges, or you close the document?
If you close Pages without first closing the document, Pages (or Lion) asumes you're not yet finished with it, and reopens it to make it easier for you to continue working on it.
Close all oen documents before closing Pages, and you shouldn't see them the next time you use Pages.

Im an owner of an Iphone 3gs.
When I updated my software to IOS 6.1.3 I started having network issues such as my phone would go on searching, it would search for signal and then No service after few minutes it would restart and when its on again it would show me Connect To Itunes screen, I tried connecting but nothing happens and if I just leave it as it is it will just keep on restarting and showing the same screen sometimes I might get lucky and the phone will start working again but No Service and if I turn on my 3G for the times Im outdoors it will just restart again so 3G is also another problem I have got. Today I decided to take it to an Apple Store, the guy restored it and now what happens is that it switches on and is showing me the connect to Itunes message but with black backround and i cant do anything it keeps on restarting and showing the same thing. Please if there is anyone that would like to spend some time with me to help me out, he would be more than Welcome.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

The Messages app can join 5 different services.
The "iChat Originals" that include AIM, Jabber and Yahoo (although they were added at different times to the app)
The Bonjour account that has been present for LAN based Mac to Mac chat and lastly the iMessages account in the Messages app that iChat has become.
Google email IDs can be used as a Jabber ID in Messages as Google run a Jabber server.
As the Google server does not follow conventional naming formatting it has it's own Add option in Messages.
Effectively all the services are separate.
Any email used as an Apple ID can be the iMessages account.
Of course this may be a Google one like you have that can also be used as Jabber/GoogleTalk ID or it may be an Apple issued ID (@mac.com @me.com or @icloud.com) that will also work as a Valid AIM Screen Name.
It may be that someone has their Yahoo email as their Apple ID.

Ty for answer. I connect my iPhone5 to my car audio system by Bluetooth. I can listen sounds from any app installed on my iPhone. The music app starts immediatly, without any command, when the connection via Bluetooth is done. It disturbs me because I want to hear sound from another application. At this moment I do not want to listen to music. I stop the music but it return again and again every time the other app stop momentarily to talk. (This is a navigation app)
I would like to know how to configure my iPhone5 to avoid this.

They are designed for coins... is this your first time changing the battery? Make sure you are twisting in the right direction and make sure you are pushing down on it and applying pressure at the same time you turn.
