How can I obtain OS X and OS 9.2.2 Install CD's for second hand iMac??

Hello All you Mac users!
I have always wanted a Mac and recently purchased a used iMac from Ebay for a good price, lovely condition beautifull machine. It came with OS X 10.2.8 loaded and fully functioning but with NO CD's or DVD for the OS. Having used the iMac and successfully got wireless and hooked up email and internet I have now realised that I must obtain OS discs before getting too seriously in love with iMac. Also there is no Classic OS 9 on the machine JUST OS X 10.2.8. Ideally I would like CD's or DVD's (have ext LG DVD writer on firewire working fine to read DVD) so as to restore the classic and also migrate to OS X tiger latest. Which discs do I need to hunt down and purchase? All this full, part, restore, upgrade, degrade, machine specific CD's or DVD's in Mac world is quite confusing for an Microsoft Intel Windows XP defector!! Advice gratefully received.

iMac G3 flower power, a beautiful machine indeed, congratulations!
OK your Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) was installed from a purchased retail CD. Do not reformat now or you would lose it, as it did not come with the iMac originally.
Your iMac originally came with Mac OS 9, and the original install CDs should be with the computer when you bought it.
It is this CD set that you have to look for, if you need to reinstall Mac OS 9. There is a way to get them from Apple Support, after you registered and give serial number and, I guess it is not free...
Migrate to OS X Tiger latest:
This one is the easy part. As Mac OS X 10.4 is a new operating system, even coming from Jaguar (10.2) or Panther (10.3), there is no other way but to simply purchase it.

the most reliable way is to go on the phone and tap
Settings/General/About - that will tell you the capacity (among other things)
but remember the actual space wont be what Apple advertises - my 128 GB iPhone 6 + says it has 114 gb of space - there is formatting and the operating system to take into account
the size is also printed on the back of the original box but unless you have the phone and get get the serial number off the phone (which is in that same location) you cant be sure the box is from the phone you are trying to buy

Have you installed Adobe Reader and its associated plugin? AFAIK, that's the preferred if not the only way to open PDFs in an embedded view within Safari.

   I need to obtaind the first 10 characters from field AWKEY from BSEG table, and the last 4 characters, how can I obtain certains position from field??
    Example:
AWKEY field from BSEG can be for example :
51000573112002
   This mean that you can obtain separately:
5100057311 - BELNR (field)
2002- GJAHR (field)
    As you can see, the first 10 positions are BELNR and the last 4 positions are GJAHR.
     But sometimes you find in old rows:
5100057312US502001
     This mean that you can get from this field:
10 positions for BELNR : 5100057312
4 positions for BUKRS or WERKS : US50 - in this case, I don´t know if its is BURKS or WERKS...for this reason only I want to take only the first 10 positions and the last 4 position to compare.
4 posiition for GJAHR: 2001

I have a Internal Table that I create with EKBE table:

The result is all the rows that have this conditions..then with this internal table I need to looking for each BELNR in BKPF table, but sometimes you can find the row compare EKBE-BELNR with BKPF-BELNR...but in many cases, you don´t find the row in this way, you need to add EKBE-BELNR and EKBE-GJAHR and looking for in BKPF with field AWKEY..
For this reason I CONCATENATE in this way:
LOOP AT LIST_EKBE.
    V_BELNR = LIST_EKBE-BELNR.
    V_GJAHR = LIST_EKBE-GJAHR.
    CONCATENATE V_BELNR V_GJAHR INTO V_AWKEY.

If you looking for in BKPF you don´t find sometimes exactly the field BELNR : 5105618260.. then you need try looking for the AWKEY field then you need to add BELNR+GJAHR..example:

But in other cases... I found that in AWKEY exist for example:

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

Thanks - I did notice that the 2 was a superscript on one site but on another (I think the one for the Pro-10 printer) it was definitely a 2 in line with the rest of the text and separated by a space (at least on my browser). At any rate, I suspected something of the kind and will simply use Photoshop Elements 11 when I want a pattern print until the change is made.
If you have an inside line to Canon you might also suggest some changes to their Image Garden program, specifically its handling of DVD label projects. It has several themes and within each theme several layouts. As far as they go these are fine but they do not give nearly enough flexibility. The boxes for insertion of images are useful as is the simple procedure for rescaling the image so it is cropped in varying ways while staying within the fixed box. However, it should be possible (a) to relocate the boxes on the page and (b) to resize and reshape the boxes - probably by a control which would become available by right-clicking on the box. For example, there are times when the user might want to include a full 16 x 9 frame shot as one of the images, and in general the aspect ratios of the provided boxes do not permit this.
I have over the years preferred to use Word for this purpose after setting up masks to expose just the printable area of the DVD or Blu-ray disc, setting up the margins so that the center of the disc is in the horizontal center of the page, and finally introducing text and pictures and adjusting the font size of blank lines above the disc to line everything up properly in the vertical direction. A typical layout might involve one large picture, located so the center hole and the curved outer edge do not block anything important, or two pictures side by side, or four pictures centered vertically (to minimize the effect of the outer edge of the disc) but possibly of different widths (so as to make both close-ups and wide scenes optimal on the same disc label). The text then goes above and below the pictures. All of this works perfectly so I probably wouldn't use Image Garden very often for this purpose, but the inability to resize and relocate the boxes must be very limiting for others as well.
Some of the layouts have image locations severely reduced by the edge of the disc.
