How can I open a google doc on IPAD 2?

Created a google doc presentation. The presentation slides open, but slides cannot be edited. How can I edit the slides using the IPAD2? Otherwise, is there some application for IPAD that can be used like a Google Doc? Thank you.

After you open the Google Docs presentation, there should be a bar at the bottom of the screen. Select 'Actions' and then choose 'Edit'. You'll get a message saying that the browser doesn't support all options, or something to that effect -- just ignore it.

I get same Issue.
is iCloud make this issue.
Try Disable iCloud calender on you iPad and then go to March 2013 on you calender and then it not crash. after that go back and enable iCloud calender again.
And then it work for me :-)

Welcome to Apple discussions.
You need Pages in order to save a file that's been saved in Pages' native format. But you can export Pages documents to Word or PDF so that they can be opened on Windows computers. From within Pages, click on File > Export > Word (or PDF).

I email mine (or use goodreader on the ipad). It's never failed to open any office document. Watch the size though - a huge Excel spreadsheet will slow the ipdad down more than a tad!

You can't - ibooks from Apple can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, Apple haven't so far made a Mac or PC reader for them

You don't need an additional app. You can either sync your email messages to your iPad from your computer - instructions are in the user's guide as well as here:

or you can set up your iPad to connect directly to your email provider - instructions also in the user's guide and here:

If your email service is an Exchange server, I'd recommending setting up your iPad to talk directly to the server. Then your mail, calendar and contacts, if you wish it so, will synchronize automatically without you having to sync with your computer.

Search iPad. Drag down the middle of any Home screen to reveal the search field. Results occur as you type; to hide the keyboard and see more results on the screen, tap Search. Tap an item in the list to open it.
You can use Spotlight Search to find and open apps too.

The document should open as an email attachment in the mail app. Did you tap on the icon in order to open the file?
However, if you want to save or edit the document, then you will need a Word compatible app on the iPad. pages, Documents To Go, quick Office Pro ... And others are available in the app store.
But you can open and read it right from the mail app as an attachment.
