How can I open an old file made with 2009 iWork'09?

Some years ago I prepared a book using iWork'09 program. Two months ago the hard disk of my iMac didn't work anymore. I did the backup of my work before the beracking. My iMac war repaired and I tried to open my old work with iWork'09 but the program doesn't function and I am not be able to open my old book. how can I solve this problem? Thanks for the reply.

What version of Pages do you have? Pages 5.2 can not open Pages '08 documents.
Can you reinstall iWork '09 from the original Installer or DVD?:

You CAN'T download published files and then edit them in iWeb because iWeb can't open them - it has no import facility so is unable to open any html or css files - a previously published site.
You can download these files yes, but you'll need to use them as a guide or to cut and paste text from there whilst you re-build your site in iWeb.
The only other way is to download the files and then open them with an html editor such as TextWrangler or use one of the other web design programmes out there that is capable of importing html and css such as Dreamweaver of Flux 4.
These are your only alternatives as iWeb can't import and if you want to continue to use iWeb, then you'll have to re-build your site from scratch. If you do just remember to back up your domain.sites file this time around - it is found under your User/Library/Applicaion Support/iWeb/domain.sites.

How can I delete an old file from my library on iTunes

Occasionally I have to replace PDF manuals with ones that have been updated. But after I sync the new file the old one remains on my Mac itunes library. How can I delete the old file? So far all I do is deselect the old file but it's still there. Sooner or later there will be more old files then current ones making it hard to manage.

You can do this with or without the iPad connected to your Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac. Click on Books under the Library heading. Click on the PDFs. Then click on the PDF that you want to delete in order to select it, and go to Edit>Delete and follow the on screen prompts.
if you are using iTunes 11 and do not have the sidebar enabled, and wish to do so, go to View>Show sidebar or use the keyboard shortcut OPTION+Command+S.
If you do not want to enable the sidebar, the library items can be accessed in the button in the upper left corner of the iTunes window.

You can't do it from CS6.
You have to export to IDML from InDesign CC2014 (or whatever the version it was created in) and then open the IDML in the earlier versoin of InDesign.

First, you may want to choose to have the sidebar displayed for familiarity:

Afterwards, your device should be displayed if connected:

Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section. It's not an apple solution but you can try MailRaider by 45 RPM software. I have not used it personally but it was one of the hits that came up when I did a google search for .msg on Mac.

The solution is dependent on your Forms version and if your applications is traditional Client/Server (CS) (Forms 6i and lower) or web deployed (Forms 6i and higher). For CS, you would use the Get_File_Name() built-in as Faa demonstrated. For Web, you will need to use the WebUtil library function Client_Get_File_Name() as Sarah (OGIR) demonstrated. Both of these functions will return the full path to a file. Note: WebUtil is an external library so it requires you to perform some configuration on your developer client as well as on the Application Server. WebUtil is included with Forms 9i and higher, but you must download it for Forms 6i.
My requirement is user should able to select windows directory for the output.Do you really need to allow the user to write to a file in the Windows directory? This is very dangerous and you should not allow users or programs to write to the Windows directory. Users should only be able to write files to "User" directories (\My Documents\<Directory name>).
