n my application,I hava a fature that make use of Calander.vcs file to get a schedule appointement in outlook.with IE browser,it is working fine.But Firefox can not open the Calander.vcs file and showung some code in the webpage.

It's not an apple solution but you can try MailRaider by 45 RPM software. I have not used it personally but it was one of the hits that came up when I did a google search for .msg on Mac.

How can i open a TEXTPAD LINK in recent versions of firefox in a P R I V A T E window?

No matter what i've tried in recent versions of firefox, i can ONLY open a textpad link in a private window with OLD VERSIONS of firefox, where a private window REPLACES non private window(s) !
In later versions, private mode opens an ADDITIONAL window that is private, but the non private window(s) remain too.
So when I right click on a link in Textpad to open it, it ALWAYS opens the link in the latest NON private window!!! Even if I get rid of the non private windows!
I have tried Palemoon Browser(an optimized clone of Firefox) & no difference, unless I use old version 19.0.2 of that browser.
If there was a way in the registry(via an addon or manual change) to make the latest vers of FF beHAVE like the much older version when going into private mode, that might be a quick fix.
Have I stumped everyone? lol

Well... even though there is a command-line option to open a new private window, there is no way to feed a URL to that window externally. Firefox will always open the URL in a new non-private window. It's not clear why it was set up this way.

Can't open lots of types of Quicktime files.

i'm running leopard 10.6.3 and quicktime 10.0 & 7.6.6. I'm getting really sick of not being able to open quicktimes, lots of different types. Sometimes stuff in the lossless codec, loads of problems with pro res footage and countless others including h264. i'm at the point where i abandon the quicktime player all together and find an alternative because it's unworkable in the current state on my system. i hope your listening apple, my experience of the quicktime implementation on snow leopard really *****.
i have one clip in particular i need to open, Apple Pro Res 422 HQ with 48Khz audio, rendered straight from after effects.
if i try and open in quicktime 7 i get a crash (below is an excerpt from my crash log). If i try and open it in quicktime X it just hangs, i just get a window that says Loading Movie, but it never actually loads.
I've had this behaviour over 100 times over the last week. Can anyone suggest anything to try to fix? Have tried disk permissions, installing flip4mac, vlc and perian. but nothing helps so far.

Pagemaker development and support was discontinued at least a decade ago.
At this point you should go through and convert any PageMaker content you think you will ever need to access since at some point, even InDesign 8 (CS6) won't run on future operating systems versions.

Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

Were you able to solve this issue? I too would like to have the ability to automatically open other users' calendar when Outlook loads.
I did find one unreliable workaround is this; I am able to add a link of the other users' calendar on the shortcut bar. This way, when a user logs on, s/he can click on the link to get to other's calendars.
However, I say its unreliable because every once in a while, I get the error message "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. The entry Id passed in does not refer to a valid object."
To resolve this, I must go back to files -> open -> Other user's folders. Open the calendar before it works agin.

Can't open Outlook msg files

We are using Windows Phone with Nokia Lumia and we can't open outlook msg files.
From Desktop, we save Outlook messages into msg format in SharePoint libraries, but When I try to open this message using Internet Explorer with Nokia Lumina, it can't do it. Windows Phone can't open msg files.
It is this possible? Can't install Outlook client into Windows Phone? Exists any msg reader?

Is whats captured the same thing as whats setup when its working?
Have you compared how it works on a manually setup client vs whats actually configured within your package?
