early this Week i was on eBay.com & I Bought an Apple iPad Mini 16GB WiFi Only Tablet & it's Brand New they never used it, very tiny only 1 time it was used they said to me so i bought it for $240 so i have it & everything, i have only 1 problem it does not want to Charge with other Apple Cables, only this piticular 1, Why is that???

How can you back up ipad if itunes only recognizes it is recovery mode?

I can't upgrade iOS because iPad (original) is only recognized as a camera, or as an iPad in recovery mode, which erases everything since 2011. iMac running 10.6.8 and latest iTunes (10)

If the iPad is already in recovery mode, then you have to restore it first - then you can restore from a backup - assuming that you have synced with iTunes on your computer previoulsy and you do have a backup.

We're you getting a message in Safari saying that it could not connect to the server?
If you are talking about your home WiFi network and you can't get online, try rebooting your router. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
You can also try Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Setrings and start over again with your network.

I run training workshops all day and want to use my iPad to run Keynote or PowerPoint through a projector. I already have the VGA adaptor and that all works fine. Trouble is, the battery only lasts half the day. So I have to swap over to a netbook for the rest of that day while the iPad charges...
Is there a double-adaptor that will allow me to plug the charger in as well as the VGA adaptor?
Seems such an obvious thing to want to do but I've looked all over for an adaptor and I haven't found one...

Thanks for your suggestion. Kinda means I have to buy a wireless-capable projector. Most of the VGA projectors in the venues I work with are fixed-in-the-ceiling and not wireless capable...
My luck with doing off-the-mainstream stuff like jailbreak etc is that (1) it won't work for me, or (2) it all goes horribly wrong, stuffs up my machine and voids the warranty... So I tend to stick to the proprietory stuff.
Not very adventurous, but then I need dependable stuff with a warranty and someone I can yell at to fix it.
Maybe Apple will read this and provide a risk-free solution.

This printer has worked for me with out fail at my house. I am traveling in an RV and am at the mercy of the RV Wifi. I do not have access to the router. The printer has been recycled a number of times as well as the Ipad. The printer is set up and has access to the wifi. How can I get my ipad to reflect the same playlist order that appears on my computer? My computer has the exact desired order of playlist, but once the system is synced, the ipad does not reflect the propper order.

In iTunes with your playlist shown in the correct order, right-click on the playlist name in the side-bar and click Copy to Play Order. Enable the side-bar with CTRL+S if necessary. Sync. Note also that the column you are sorting on should have the small triangle pointing upwards, otherwise the songs will play in the reverse order. You may also find that you need to first remove, and then add back the playlist to the device if syncing doesn't update it properly. See this post for more.
