How can I organise my albums quickly?

I have imported by itunes library from my old PC to a new Mac but the files are now completely disorganised and are not arranged by album when I look at coverflow or arrange by album. It was logically organised in alphabetic order by album on my old PC. Why is this happening? How can I prevent it? Thank you for any ideas.

If you hold down the option key while in dashboard you can close many of the programs.
To disable it from opening automatically, or unintentionally:
1) go to System preferences -> mission control.
2) Deselect any mouse shortcuts
3) Remove it from hot corners, if it is active.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist" or check the "compilation" flag.
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields.

How can I delete an album that had hundreds of wrong songs dumped into it?

When I was new to mac I messed up my music library when I tried to get my albums (all music really) into iTunes. Now I have some albums with hundereds of songs. I cant seem to get them off my system without deleting all the music on my system.
How can I remove corupt albums in my music library and get it to see only my albums as they actually are on the computer hard drive?

About… is always under the thing it is about.
So for Pages it is under the Pages menu.
In Pages 5.1 you can not insert images into the Header, so I assume you have put it in the Section Master.
click at the end of the first page text > Menu > Insert > Section Break
Then delete the logo in the subsequent section/s. Section Master objects repeat for every page of the section they are in. As the name suggests.

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.
For compilations that aren't, select all tracks, Get Info, and on the option tab set Part of a Compilation to No. If it already says No tick the box alongside, then click OK.

It sounds like you might have the shuffle button at the bottom left of the iTunes (the button with the squiggly lines).
If that's not the case, then maybe you just need to sort your library by album by clicking the album tab at the top.
Is your music in a playlist, or are you trying to play it from the entire library?

If you bought it from the iTunes Store, click here and follow the instructions; the process of iTunes Store content being put in the iCloud is automatic.
If you got it from another source, reload it from that source.

Albums typically are just a collection of photos from the bigger iPhoto Library.
Get out of full screen and look at the sidebar for Trasch can.
If you have more than iPhoto Library, launch iPhoto holding the option key.

first of all, no one is going to respond to this becuase limewire is used basically in your situation illegally. But let's say you import a cd, left click on the songs you imported and hit get album artwork, if nothing comes up, the album sn't in the itunes database, get it online. And I suggest never to mention limewire and music files on the same post here, since limewire is a file sharing program. Use Itunes, it's easier. theo
