How can I overwrite iTunes with the music on my iPhone 4?

I turned on home sharing in iTunes, to share purchases with my hubby. Now my iTunes is completely f*****!!! My iPhone (iPhone 4, now used solely as an iPod), is as I would like iTunes to be but for the life of me, I cannot find a reasonable, SIMPLE way to overwrite iTunes and I do NOT want to spend hours and hours sorting through, re-importing my now useless and completely frustrating iTunes library!!! Please, help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!

I haven't really played with home sharing, but you may be able to sort the songs list on Date Added and find you can easily select and remove the unwanted content.

Drag the iTunes library to an external drive, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down, and point it to that instance of the library.

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Thank you for the question. The best way to avoid this behavior would be to delete the music video from your library. You can always download it again free by accessing your previous purchases. To delete and item in your iTunes library, select the item and hit delete on your keyboard.

Those specifications are not for the "last" mac mini, but for the mid-2011 Mac Mini: Macmini5,2.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. if the music was downloaded via iTunes you will be able to access it from iCloud when you set up the new device. other music that was synced to the iPhone would need to be synced to the new iPhone from the computer that you used to sync the iPhone 4.
photos can be transferred via the following method.
plug iPhone 4 into iTunes on computer. select back up to computer.
Plug in the iPhone 6 and press restore. when setting up the iPhone press restore from iTunes. plug into computer and a complete copy of the iPhone 4 will be put onto the iPhone 6. except for the music...(you will have to download your apps again from App Store but you can find them all under the purchased tab on App Store. you won't have to pay for the apps again)
please note this will delete the current memory on iPhone 6
