Do you have ActiveDirectory Module which shipped with Windows Server 2008 R2? If you have it, you can complete this task very easily.
#First, you need to import ActiveDirectory Module
Import-Module ActiveDirectory
#Second, generate a SecureString which contains the password.
$securePwd = ConvertTo-SecureString -String "P@ssw0rd!" -Force -AsPlainText
#Third, find the Active Directory users ,and use Set-ADAccountPassword for resetng the password.
Get-ADUser -Filter {Name -like "Test*"} | Set-ADAccountPassword -NewPassword $securePwd

Adnan,
One way to do this is to use Disk Utility to make a password protected disk image of the folder(s) that you need to secure. This is probably the easiest way to do it.
Go to Disk Utility and choose "New Image" and select encryption.

Password Recovery of IPS

Hi Experts,
Good day!
I have 2 ASA5585-X with IPS and it is in promiscuous mode. My 2 ASAs are currently in failover mode. When I tried to reset the password of the IPS, the primary ASA goes down and the active goes to my secondary ASA.
I just executed the command, "hw-module module 1 password-reset".
I believe ASA should not be affected by it right meaning, there should be no failover happened? Do you know what is my mistake regarding the password recovery?

How can I password a external USB disk?

I now have a Time Capsule and am using this as my Time Machine drive instead of what I was using, a external HDD.
So to complete my backup solution I want to use this external USB drive to backup my most important things, my iTunes and iPhoto libraries, and my Home Videos from my camera, and take it off site, so then I have everything that is important to my in 2 places.
So I'll probably store this external disk at my parents or my work, and bring it back every month to update. but how can I security protect the external disk, in case it gets stolen etc? password it or something?
Also what is the best way to backup what I want to the drive? I'm not bothered about a clone of my machine, I just want the libraries backed up and my Home videos for editing.

Set a password for your user; create other user accounts for when other people want to use it. You can create a "guest" login which gets wiped after every logout, if that's more appropriate for them.

It works as you described. I used iFlicks to set the Content Rating to "NC-17" and turned on Parental Controls to restrict up to "R". When I clicked on a movie, it asked for the password.

Gee whiz. This is the second post you've made in regards to disable password-recovery mechanism. For the WLC, I agree with Nic, it's not possible. And, for the record, there are ways to bypass a disable-password-recovery mechanism. This is mainly due to prevent un-authorized use of this mechanism by, for example, a disguntled network administrator from shutting down a network.
