How can i permanently stop getting "no sender" emails on my iPhone?

i have been getting "no sender" messages almost every day through my .me account on my iphone.
the only way to get rid of them is to go into settings on that account and turn the mail off and then back on.
There must be a better way to have things set so this does not keep happening.
Could my icloud be working incorrectly or is someone trying to hack my account?

If I can not set up a second Contacts folder, does anybody have an alternative way of having contact information that a person could see the information from an Outlook Format available for viewing?

How can I permanently stop Backup Asisstant from running in the background?

Backup Asisstant plus is constantly running in the background of my phone. It is annoying and I can not even open it up under the "manage accounts" section of my phone. When I do this it just has the blue circle spinning forever and ever never openning up at all. Is there a way to fix this or am I just stuck battling this stupid app day after day. It came with the Verizon phone, but I had this before and customer service was able to stop it from running all the time. Now I get told there is nothing Verizon can do. So how can I stop this app permanently and why is there so much comflicting information coming from Verizon agents and its website? I cant seem to get a solid answer.

I have a galaxy s3. The backup assistant just freezes my phone. It is always running in the background draining memory from my phone slowing it down. It is beyond annoying since even after a hard reset I can not even access the Backup Assistant + to manually change settings, so I would just like it to stay off. How can I delete a no-longer-valid email address from iPhone's Mail?

My son has changed his email address, and I have made the changes in the Adressbook (they sync correctly via MobileMe). But his old email address continues to pop up in the Mail application. I know how to delete this from the desktop's Mail application, but don't know how to do this on the iPhone.

The only way to remove this data from your phone is to restore the phone as a "new" device, & not from a backup. Of course, if you do this you will lose all saved data & have to sync back your itunes content. Some view this as a feature, others a PIA. You need to decide for yourself if it's worth going through restoring as new or just living with it. You can leave feedback here:

Just to clarify, are you saying that now you can't send email at all, or just while connected to Wi-Fi? (To test this, just turn your Wi-Fi off and use your Cellular network instead to send an email).
I know you have deleted/created accounts, but when adding the SMTP server is that being resolved by the iPhone okay?

I like to clean things out on a regular basis but when I run the Norton Clean-up utility all of my custom toolbar and navigation button settings get reset to 'factory' condition. How can I permanently save these changes to my config or preference settings?

Hi. My subject says it all. How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?
At first I thought I had a virus or something because when I typed only weird symbols came out. Then I reset the computer. Then I couldn't even log in. I tried Time Machine etc.
Then I realized that the "fn" key wasn't working right. It seems to be working backwards. It acts like it's being pushed when it's not, and when I do push it it acts like it's not being used.
So it's kind of a simple problem but it's really annoying.
Is there a way I can just disable it permanently? Even physical force if necessary. I tried to break it but it wouldn't break. I don't really use the key anyway so it doesn't really matter. I don't want to pay a bunch of money to replace a key I don't even use.

That's the best answer. Yeah usually if you press "fn" or "option" you can get it to work for awhile.
Yeah I have considered some kind of external keyboard also. It will make a laptop less laptopish. But it could do the job for awhile.
It's sad because I don't even care about the "fn" or "option" keys.
But anyway it's not catastrophic at least.
And yeah maybe we can get a new computer later or something. I like mine though. It's customized and is how I like it right now.

Each time I open Illustrator, I have to open preferences and go through changing everything back to the way I like it and it's getting really old. How can I permanently save these settings? How can I permanently delete tracking cookies?

I was alarmed to read the series in the series in the Wall Street Journal ( www.wsj.com/wtk ) about flash cookies, trackers, and beacons. I had always set my preferences (in Firefox) to not accept cookies, changing that only when I came to a site that required cookies (like Facebook), but then choosing the option to not accept 3rd-party cookies, changing my preferences after the visit, and deleting cookies.
I installed the add-ons suggested by the WSJ and on this website (Adblock Plus, Better Privacy, Ghostery, PrivacyChoice TrackerWater, and Taco. There is nothing in my Library>Preferences>Macromedia file. I visited the Adobe website and followed their instructions to delete flash cookies. Yet I cannot get rid of the cookies!
I tried this experiment: when not connected to the internet, with cookies turned off, I deleted all cookies, closed Firefox, and lo and behold, 150 cookies (yes, I counted them) had re-created themselves!
How can I get rid of them permanently? Please don't give me any pablum about them being harmless, they help to streamline the ads being shown to me, etc. etc. I don't care about that. This is MY computer and I do not want anyone installing anything on it! It irks me that deleting cookies deletes the useful cookies -- cookies that I would chose to keep -- but keeps all these other ones.
Please, if anyone knows, how can I permanently delete these cookies?

In addition, I always empty all cookies after a browsing session or at the end of the day. The worst is I have to log back in to some sites. You can't permanently eliminate the possibility of picking up a tracking cookie, but you can get rid of them if you pick one up. NoScript minimizes the chances of getting one, since you only allow the minimum scripts for a site to function. I suggest you start at the NS site and read about it. There's also a support forum which needs no registration. I won't have a lot of time today to explain much more.

How can I permanently change color of my junk mail listings? It is light brown and difficult to read.

I'm trying to do the same...no problem choosing the color, but when I used an advanced rule, I no longer have the option in a drop down menu to "erase junk mail". Seems like any combination of an advanced junk mail rule wipes out the option to erase junk mail, and I don't want mail to automatically delete my junk email. I tried outting a stop evaluating after the text color, but that didn't work.

I have this same problem and it occurs with other websites (like ESPN.com) too. Only I don't get the option of disabling automatic page updates on other websites. I disabled and reinstalled Mozilla and it went away for a short while. About two weeks later the same problem popped back up.

I called Apple and spoke with a customer service representative regarding this issue. I was given the two things to try, and if they don't work, I was told I can call back in:
1. Go to iCloud.com and look at the advanced options. Since Photos can be deleted here, the representative thought there may be an option to remove songs here as well.
2. Go into the library that has the songs that were deleted and click Update iTunes match.
I tried #1--this didn't resolve the issue, as there is no option to remove songs this way. I can't try #2 right now since I'm at work, but if anybody else with this issue can try that step it can help us get the ball rolling on it. After I try that, I'll call Apple back to discuss this further.
