How can I place calls with Facetime?

I'm trying to use facetime to connect with my family that's spread around the country. I have an iMac and I purchased and downloaded the Mac OS X Snow Leopard update. I then downloaded the Facetime beta for the Mac and installed it on my computer. I cannot for the life of me place any calls to other computers or to the iphone4 or anywhere. I keep reading that I can just click on the info in my address book, but that is not working for me. There isn't even an option to "click" on anything. I've restarted my computer to see if that helps the installation but it does not. Help!! What am I doing wrong??

I don't hink you actually use the "Contacts" application to place the call. Open up Facetime. Do you see your "contacts" in the right-hand margin. You place your call form there.
FYI, you cane "just click on your contacts information" in Facetime.

No cell phone has the ability to block calls/sms's...none. True blocking must be done by the carrier, as there is no other way to block calls/sms's.

If you make a call then tap the Facetime button to connect Facetime, the duration of call up to Facetime connection will be charged under your regular airtime. However, duration during facetime conversation will not consume airtime.
But if you tap the Facetime button on the Contact Page, then the whole duration will not consume airtime.
For Facetime to work, both parties must be connected to wifi.

Shared how? The other users can read the documents or you all can read and write the documents?
The first is easy just place the documents in /Users/Shared anyone can access the files there and the other users will be able to read them.
The second is a bit trickier.

Using Stratus I was able to create an an application using Action Script 3 and Flash CS4. The sample code on the Adobe site was quite straight forward and easy to understand. I now want to switch over to LCCS but can't find anything any where on how to use Action Script 3 and Flash CS4 with LCCS. Do I need to know Flex to be able to use LCCS? Everything was quite simple and easy to understand with Stratus and makes complete sense. But LCCS is really confusing. Is there any sample code on how to establish a connection in Action Script 3 and then stream from a webcam to a client. There is nothing in the LCCS SDK that covers Flash and Action Script 3. Please help! I found the link below on some forum but it takes me nowhere.

Please refer to the SDK's sampleApps folder. There would be an app called FlashUserList. The app demonstrates how LCCS can be used with Flash CS4. Its a pretty basic app, but should help you moving.

In order for you to develop and distribute content for the iPad, you need to become an apps developer.
Not sure where you sign up for this or who you have to call.
There should be a place on Apple's site that refers to a section of the site if you want to be an Apple iOS content developer.
It cost, I believe $99 U.S. to become an Apple apps developer. You'll agree to Apple's Non-disclosure rules. You'll receive Apple's app/software developers kit,and access to Apple's app developer site.

It sounds like what you actually need to do is amend the icon itself - something like Iconographer will help you with that. Open the icon of any standard folder, copy in your photo image, amend the result to your satisfaction, and save it as a new icon. Then apply that icon to your folder.

The problem is that you are using application-identity. When you
specify an objectid-class, we treat is automatically as application
identity. To resolve this, I would recommend removing both the
objectid-class and identity-type atributes from your class. With
"objectid-class" in place, we asssume that you wil take care of identity.
