On OS X 10.10.1, on every login I get two requests to login to iCloud. See the screen cap (email address obscured):

Is it a bug? I'm not an iCloud user. It's annoying and slows down the boot process.

It's a really bad idea to post your email address, even in an image - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.

actually i am doing a server for mobile phone to get data. Sometime 1 single ID will send twice a message (usually nokXX mobile phones) .. i use milli sec to check those message ....

SEC_MAX_FAILED_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS is an initialization parameter and will drop a connection but says nothing about locking accounts.

I have an apple ID and apparentely I created an email in Icloud (@icloud.com). How can I recover this login. Because I didn´t remeber the name... And whe I try to go in "iforgot" in the website, they redirect-me to my mail from apple!

See if that does the trick: I think there's a way for you to request a password for purchases, but still be logged in.

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

I have a MyFaces filter that I don't want applied to pages ending in ".html". However, upon visiting the "/myapp/index.html" page of my application, I get an internal server error, and the stack trace indicates that the filter is being invoked. How can I prevent such a filter from being applied to ".html" pages? The stack trace and the web.xml file are below.

At any way, you should map the ExtensionsFilter on the FacesServlet rather than on any url-pattern. Could you elaborate on what you mean? Maybe with an example?

It sounds as though you are sharing and iCloud account with someone else, you need to have a separate iCloud account, otherwise there is no way of stopping other sharers from accessing your photos in photo stream.

Settings -> FaceTime, right?
My guess would be though, that the FaceTime history is stored locally on the device, so anyone using it will see the entire device history (I cannot imagine that FaceTime uploads the history to an Apple server anywhere - I'm sure it is just logged locally on the device - based on my iPhone and iPad show completely different histories, for example).

While using firefox I am using, private browsing and not remembering any passwords.
When I login to Gmail, the login page shows option to type in my gmail id and then password, and at the bottom, it gives the option of checkbox to remember the password next time. NOW, the problem is that, THIS CHECK box is always TICKED (Checked). I don't want it to be checked at all.

Hi Imran_Afzal, if you know that setting the cookie has no effect after you close your private browsing session, is it really worth finding a hack to clear the checkbox?
I believe in order to do that you would need to use an extension or userscript. However, I haven't searched for one.

Can't change iCloud login ID

Just upgraded to 5s. Apple ID is ok for iTunes however my I cloud won't let me change the user Id from my old one which I changed months ago. How can I edit my login ID for iCloud? The phone keeps it grey and unselectable for change.
