How can I prevent overexposures by my SX260 HS when used underwater with an Ikelite AF35?

The AF35 is an underwater strobe that fires when it senses that the camera's flash has gone off. At close range (under 3 feet or so), the camera overexposes by about 10 stops! I want to use an auto setting, but can't get the proper exposure with any auto mode. Any hints?

I suspect a high end camera / flash "might" be able to do it within a small margin but you can't tell your camera (nor can I tell mine) there will be additional light and maybe a lot more than needed. By design the shutter must be open while that light returns to the lens (reflected back by the scene being photographed) BUT if there was so much light that the camera had to choose a very fast shutter speed the shutter would be closed before the light has made it back to the camera. For this reason (I suspect) it makes very good sense to either buy a flash (or strobe) which has multiple power settings or can communicate with the camera so the camera knows it's there & that it needs to lower the power.

Actually, in testing something else with Thunderbird as the receiving email client, I found that blanks in the Full Name entry box works when the recipient does not have a history with you. My earlier tests were from one account to another of my accounts, but viewing the received message in Mail. Mail knew the address so added the Full Name from history. The Thunderbird I was testing another issue with, was a virgin installation, and had the same recipient account, but not the sending one, setup. In Thunderbird only the actual email address came in, and no name.

If its is to restrict that user to view some data,then no need to place him in a separate group.Can achieve this...
High priority is for restriction.
Lets take group-Test with two users-test1,test2.These two users are under Test group.
I applied data level security for only one user test1(restricted him to view market not equal to Central Region) but didn't apply data level security for test2.
Now i added the group to presentation catalog and gave permission to dashboard showing Market report.
When test1 logs in he can see all markets except Central Region,where as test2 logs in he can view all regions including Central Region.
Here Test group is having full access so,test2 can view all regions but test1 user is restricted for some value and its working fine.
If you want apply data level security to user to not view some data,then you can maintain that user in a group with many other users and achieve it.Above example shows it.
If its is to restrict the whole group to view dashboard and make a single user in the group to view some data in the dashboard then its not possible(priority is for restriction) in this way,in this case its better to create that a new group to that user and assign him.

So I've been excited about this delete from device feature apple added a while back, but ive always compressed my music so never needed it. Now my library is to the point where i need to limit the song i have, so i deleted a decent amount of music i dont frequently listen to, freeing a lot of space.
The problem came when i synced my iPod, and all of my music I had deleted re-installed onto my iPod! I know that I can sync only checked songs, so that I can un-select the ones i dont want, but I wanted to know if there is a less strenuous way of doing this so iTunes remembers what ive deleted.
Any ideas?

There really is no way to tell iTunes which songs you deleted from the iPod and would no longer want synced to the device. So you'll have to keep doing what you want for now.
It's one of the downfalls currently associated with being able to delete content directly from your device.

How can I prevent Magic Mouse from scrolling horizontally when I don't want it to?

I recently purchased a Magic Mouse to go with OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. It's a great mouse but it causes 2 problems:
If I leave it on "Scroll with interia" in System Preferences/Mouse, it scrolls horizontally when I don't want it to. Since I mostly work in Word documents, I often lose my place in the document this way. On the other hand, checking "Scroll without inertia" makes vertical scrolling, which I do all the time, a lot harder.
The mouse seems to cause what I think of as "fractures" in Word documents--words and parts of sentences will disappear or get crunched together , then reappear when I select the place where they vanished. They also reappear if I scroll vertically to get the problem area off the screen and then return to it. This wastes a lot of time at best; at worst, I'm afraid I'll lose work. The problem occurred once in a while with a Logitech bluetooth mouse I was using, but not as bad and not all the time.
I love the mouse's ergonomics and would like to keep it, but if I can't solve this problem, I'll have to return it. Would be very, very grateful for any tips! Thanks.

Always nervous about recommending sites I have no personal experience of. On the plus side it doesn't relate to any of the bad sites I am familiar with and it appears to be the developer's site ... but there is no contact point for you to ask questions. You said in your initial post it was to go with Snow Leopard but this version says it is meant for 10.7 and above. Did you notice that? I also notice several other references to Word and mouse and one person found the solution lay in the updating of word 2011 to its highest level. I can offer no more.
