How can I prevent the final black slide?

I have created a series of keynote presentations that I export as .MOV files (for eventual uploading to YouTube, after some additional processing in iMovie). In 10 of the .mov files the end of the generated QT movie is a blank white slide (which is what I want). However, one of the .mov movies ends with 2 seconds of black, which I do NOT want. I have searched for the setting that is causing this black at the end but cannot spot anything.
The one difference in this movie, from the others that do not have a black effect at the end, is that this movie has embedded sound, which I am exporting as part of the Export to Quicktime. That is the only difference that I can think of.
Of course I can trim the black part off the end of the QT movie but I'd prefer to have a clean export from Keynote. Any ideas for how to get this movie to end with a blank WHITE screen? (And, yes, I've tried adding a final blank slide, but the black still is added after that one.)

The only things I can think of that would cause your QT Player to not show the Play Controls is that your mouse pointer is not within the QT screen area as moving the pointer out-of-screen will cause the play controls to vanish after a few seconds. Be sure that you are using the latest QT (mine is v 10.0) as well.
When I exprt a .mov from Keynote and doubleclick it in the Finder I get the opening frame of the movie and the play controls appear in front of the frame.
You are right that there would be no easy access to QT timeline since access to this is on the QT Player Play Controls panel (trim features are accessed from the "share" box -oddly enough) though you can access the trim "timeline" via the Edit > Trim menu in QT.

How can I prevent the open/save file confirmation window popup ? Mine is currently set for "always do this action" but I still get the popup.

Whenever I "export" a QIF file from my bank I get a File Action confirmation window popup. I have the correct application selected and I have it selected to "open" and "always do this action" but the popup always pops.
I have checked the applications tab and the correct application is selected.
How can I prevent the confirmation popup window please ?

I have deleted the rdf file but no difference. I still get the opening file box popup.
From the resetting download actions link. Both lines in the about:config are missing.
I have also tried switching the download option for the qif file to use a csr file but that also opens the confirmation box.

After -reluctantly- "upgrading" from Acrobat Pro 7 to Pro X I find this new version absolutely maddening.
Pro 7's features were easy to find in the tool bar. Now in Pro X everything is "dumbed down" with everything "nested" into each other...
But I whine and digress from my problem:

With every insertion of a checkbox onto a form, a "notebox" appears.

As you can see, when I add a checkmark to a page/form, a "note" is automatically added also. In my old Acrobat v. 7, this did not happen.
Any ideas on how I can set Acrobat Pro X to NOT include this note?

How can I prevent the settings on iMessage from changing each time I sync the devices with iTunes on our iMac?

Each time I sync an apple device (iPad, iPad mini, iPhone) with iTunes on our iMac the settings on iMessage and phone settings change. We use the same Apple ID and have different e-mail addresses and phone numbers; however, each time a device is sync'd on iTunes on our iMac, the iMessage settings and phone settings are changed so that we all each get each other's text messages and phone calls. After the device is sync'd/charged, I have to go into each device (all of them somehow update when only one is sync'ing) and re-set the settings to what we want. How can I prevent settings from being changed each time?

I'm not going to do a hard reset until I have confirmation that this is not normal behavior for the phone because that's going to take hours of my time and gigabytes of data transfer to get all of my media and apps back on the phone and configured.
After all my griping, I do have to give credit where it's due. This phone is much more efficient than my Galaxy Nexus. I left the S5 running in WiFi hotspot mode while on battery last night. It still had over 50% left on the battery. The Galaxy Nexus would be stone dead after about 4 hours. I can live with that if I have to but I'd really rather be able to leave it on the charger at night.

There is a thin border at the top and left margins of my Flash movie when the .html is viewed in a browser. How can it be removed?
Here's the movie.
One solution suggests replacing some code, but the code they suggest replacing doesn't even exist in my html file.
I have found questions similar to mine being asked all over different forums, but their solutions either don't work, or like the above, don't really apply. For such a common problem, finding the solution is getting a little frustrating.
I'm using Flash CS3 on a Windows PC rrunning XP professional.

Okay, I found the answer. It turns out that when I made the buttons in Flash (so the movie would have clickable links), the default stroke color was set to black. Change it to white and the outline is gone.
As for appearing only on the top and left of the movie - for some reason the bottom and right is being cropped a bit when it's placed in to the html page. But that's a topic for a different discussion.

As far as I know there is no "scietific method" to find out how many megabytes will be added to an application after it was uploaded to the Apple Store.
For example, my app in origin was 14.680.351 bytes and just when I've finished to upload it I got this email from the Apple Store:
"Dear developer,
The app binary listed below was 14 MB when you submitted it, but will be 21 MB once processed for the App Store. This exceeds the cellular network download size limit and would require your app to be downloaded over Wi-Fi".
bla bla bla
Obviously seen that the limit is 20 MB I worked a bit on my app and I managed to lower his size to 11.236.336 bytes.
Then I uploaded it again and this time I got no warning.
So in details my app, the firt time was 14.680.351 byes and has a lot of assets (external images, about 700 for 9.1MB in size).
The main swf was about 900K in size.
I have also a database of 1MB in size.
The air runtime I think is about 4MB
The second time the app was 11.236.336 bytes and I resampled the 700 images for a final size of 5.3MB.
The main swf was again about 900K in size.
The database still 1MB in size.
Plus the 4MB of the air runtime.
However, it is obvious that it would be better to know the final size before putting it on the Apple Store, or at least it would be good to estimate it.
So please reply to this thread by posting your experience.

I know that apps over 20MB are allowed to be downloaded over wi-fi, however, if I can, i prefeer to make the app available also to 3g.
So, in a nutshell, your equation is:
finalSize = application.ipa size - 4,5MB Compressed Air Runtime + 10MB Uncompressed Air Runtime
I apply it now to my first upload:
finalSize = 14.680.351 bytes - 4.608.000 bytes + 10.240.000 byes = 20312351 byes that is not 21 MB however I do not know exactly the size of the compressed air runtime and the uncompressed one.

How can I prevent the S5's screen from coming on when charging completes?

I got my S5 today and it seems to have a "feature" that will be very damaging to the OLED display. When it's done charging, the screen comes on and stays on. I've been going through all the settings I can find and don't see anything that will prevent this. Since static images burn into OLED screens, this is the last thing I want. It's done the same thing several times. My old phone (Galaxy Nexus) didn't do this. When the Nexus finished charging, it did so with no fanfare. The screen stayed off.
When the S5 is locked and the screen is off, there's no reason for the screen to come on for anything short of a phone call. It certainly shouldn't come on and stay on just because the battery finished charging. And, any time the display does come on without user input, it should turn off again automatically if it's idle for the length of the screen timeout.
I've got "Smart stay" turned off and "Screen timeout" set to 1 minute but, after it self-activates, it stays on indefinitely. I've let it go for 20 minutes and the screen is still on. How can I fix this? If I can't get this behavior to stop, it's going back to the store. I'm not paying $600 plus tax to have my lock screen burned onto my phone because I charge it at night.
