How can I print a prn file on HP6500; I have windows xp

How can I print a prn file on HP6500; I have windows xp

Perhaps some additional information would be helpful.  Does the HP6500 refer to a printer?  If yes, is the print driver and software installed on the computer that has XP?  I assume "prn" refers to some picture file or not?

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/
    I hope this helps.

  • How can I print a pdf file in Windows 8?

I'm new to Windows 8. How can I print a pdf file in Windows 8?

Well, you can install Adobe Reader XI - not the version for Windows 8 tablets, but the one for regular PCs. This is just the same in Windows 8 as other systems, and can print. The tablet reader, which also runs on PCs, can't print.

How can I print to a file? Printing itself works fine, but I get this error message when I select the "print to file" box.

Hi gag5212, the "Print pages to PDF" extension does not use the normal print dialog. Instead, right-click the page and look for its menu there, or you can add its button to one of your toolbars.
I'm surprised by your results with the other sites.
The http://www.primopdf.com/ page layout is completely whacky. The product was acquired by the NitroPDF people, but what is going on here? Probably best to ignore that one for now.
On http://www.pdfforge.org/ you should get something like the attached on the download page. I'm alarmed to hear you got something strange. Do you have any extensions that you don't recognize? You might be infected with something that redirects your downloads in some way. Although Norton is generally a solid product, you should consider some supplemental scans. • How can i print an Excel file when in the full screen mode (no print options on toolbar or right clk

using Vista, sometimes after creating and saving an excel file, the document is not visible when the file is reopened.
selecting full screen mode makes the document visible, but the toolbars disappear and the print option does not show up on a right click.  How can i print the document and see the document in some other mode than full screen?

In order to print, you can click the CTRL+P keys to launch the print dialog,
Regarding the missing toolbar, try clicking the ALT key to shouw the software menu, then look around under the view option for any available toolbar settings,
If you cannot find it, i would recommend you to try the Microsoft support forums, as they have some more knowledge with their software features

I've read articles on using the Run and DOS cmd to use "copy /b" command, but can't make it work, using \\computername\printername.  "Print" command doesn't work because I guess it's a network printer?  (PRN not setup)

There should be an easier way to send a file to a printer then using DOS commands?  Tried dragging and dropping, didn't work.

    >> ... I didn't realize the .prn file created were dependent on the type of printer ...
Most (but not all) of the output originally intended for HP LaserJet (or clone) printers can be printed on newer LaserJet models, which (apart from the cheap 'host-based' models) usually support the PCL5, PCL6 and PostScript Page Description Languages.
But inkjet devices use a larger set ofPDLs (and, in most cases, not the same as those supported by LaserJet printers), so there is much more potential for incompatibility.
Some PCL Viewer applications (e.g. SwiftView, PCL Works) should be able to display the contents of your .prn file(s), and may be able to convert them to raster images which can then be printed on a different printer model.

  • How can I print a list of the songs I have in my iTunes library?

I have iTunes 6.0.2 installed in my iMac. There are now about 300 songs in my iTunes library. I've tried to print a list of these songs, but only one page will print. How can I get my printer to print as many pages as it takes to print all of the song titles?
iMac DV (Special Edition) Mac OS X (10.3.9)

"Page setup" not do anything for you? Are you
selecting all the songs in your library before you
    try to print?
I never knew what "Page Setup" was for nor have I ever used it. Nevertheless, it did the trick, and I was able to print all six pages. I'll have to confess, though, that I still don't understand what "Page setup" is for, even though it helped me this time. I don't like to print many pages but I have, sometimes even over 100 at a time, and I never had to use "Page setup". I just said to print ALL, and that was all that was necessary. All I can say about "Page setup" is that it should be tried if the usual methods don't work. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and thanks for your help.

  • How can I open 100D RAW files in CS4, I have tried everything.

Hi guys, can someone please help me.  I am trying to open 100D RAW files in PS CS4.  I have tried so many things including downloading the plug in and even DNG converting but would rather be able to open RAW files direct and not have to convert everything to DNG anyway as it is time wasting.  Can someone please help!  Thanks, Jen.

    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
The 100D is supported from ACR 7.4, which was released shortly after the camera came on market. ACR 7.x requires Photoshop CS6 to run, and won't work in the by now very old Photoshop CS4.
So your only option is to convert to DNG and open those in ACR 5.x / PS CS4. (or upgrade, of course, but I take it you don't want that).
    EDIT: assuming Canon 100D.

  • How can I print out the file directory?

Years ago, I could print out a list of files in a folder from the finder window. Is there now a workaround utility to do that? I don't want to use screen shots, as the directory is too long and would require several screen shots.  thx.

  • How can I print multiple pdf files?

Some of the pdf documents we work with are are architectural plans. One file might contain several pages or it might contain just one. Typically we will print several files at a time, either by opening each or just dragging to the printer. A frustrating part of this is that we cant seem to control the order in which they print, ie file1..file2..file3.
Using Reader 8.1.2. Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • How can I print via the AirPort Time Capsule on a Windows 7?

    Hey,
First of all, I am really inexperienced about all these things. I have a MacBook from 2009 with OSX Lion and a PC Windows 7 x64. I have got a time capsule (https://www.mikepalmer.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/apple-time-capsule.jpg) connected to my router
and then another router in my room (probably working as an acces point) to which I  wirelessly connect my Windows 7.
The thing is that I can see the printer (HP Laserjet P1005) from my Mac but I don't know how to add it to my windows. On a previous PC I added a printer to the time capsule's IP 192.168.1.2 and printed with a considerable delay that way.
As you can see I don't understand how networks work, how IP's work, or how ports work in this matter.
Any help will be much appreciated!!

    Hi PGMLEBL,
I am not familiar with Mac product, the best way is ask the HP printer support for the detail support, generally if we know the printer IP address we can add it through add
a network printer, you may can refer the following third party article to add the printer:
