How can I print multiple copies of a label based on a field?

Hello all,
I have a report that prints labels where each label is a contained in detail line. I have a field on such label (Number Of Copies), on the same detail line, that specifies the number of copies to generate of such label, how can I generate such multiple copies of the label?
I have tried adding multiple detail lines (all identical so that they reproduce the label) but I do not know in advance how many copies will be needed; that is, some detail lines include a Number Of Copies = 3, therefore I would need details A, B, and C sections to print the three copies but other labels might have a value of Number Of Copies = 10 therefore I would need detail sections A, B, through J to generate the 10 labels.
How can I solve this issue?

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

Hello all,

There is a sample report I retrieved from Business Objects website several months ago. It's called "Creating Duplicate Labels". I must confess that I couldn't implement it as I failed to make the counter work. I can e-mail you the report. You might make better use of it.
This is the general description of the report: "This report will demonstrate how to create a report to print duplicate mailing labels depending on a parameter.
Two methods will be shown to output the number of labels created. The first method is shown in this sample report. Please see the @Label Suppression formula for details.
In the first method, the user determines how many labels to print depending on a number parameter where by the user controls the number of labels printed.
The second method uses conditional if-then-else statements. This way, the report writer can determine pre-hand how many labels to print depending if certain conditions are met.
The report is set up using a main report and a sub report.
Create a group; you can group by a common id field. This group will be suppressed and is used to run though each record.
The customer's address and pertinent information are setup in the group header with the formula @Label Values.
The @Label Suppression formula outputs how many labels to print. Both methods outlined in the preceding paragraph are shown in the @Label Suppression formula.
The labels are then printed down then across. The steps are: Format | section | click Details | Under the Common Tab | check "Format with Multiple Columns" | the "Layout" tab appears | Set the appropriate detail size for the label width | Printing direction = "Down then Across"| click "OK"
If you're using the first method, create a parameter: Insert | Field Object | Parameter Fields | click the New icon | Name the parameter | Enter in prompting text | Value = Number | check the discrete value radio button | Click "OK".
Create a sub report, and insert a field into the details section. In this sample report, {Customer.id} is entered. This field will be suppressed and is used to run though each record.
Create a @reset counter formula and place it in the report header."

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade.
It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
You can only do it by duplicating the photos "n-1" times to make "n" prints and selecting all copies then print

Do you want to print several different photos per page or multiples of the same photo?
If you want to print several different photos,select them all at once and press command-P for "Print". Pick the Custom Layout and adjust the photo size suitably.
If you want multiples of the same photo, duplicate the photo several times and select all copies at once, then press command-P.

As above, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library, however it is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve/merge ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

How do I print multiple copies of a page in a PDF File? For some reason I tell it to print, for example, 3 or 4 copies of a certain page and it will only print one copy!!!

I increase the number of copies to 3, 4, or 5 (etc.) but it would still only print one copy of the designated page/pages.

What application are you trying to print from? Address Book has the ability to print using various label templates. I think you can do the same from Pages or Word.

What version of iPhoto?
The general process is to select the photo and print, select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize and under settings selec multiples copies of a photo (the preview will reflect this choice) and click print to print, make any printer specific selections and click print to print

HOW DO I PRINT MULTIPLE COPIES OF ONE PHOTO ON A SINGLE PAGE?

Since Apple has not made this feature available, I am not able to print multiple copies of a single photo on one page. HELP suggested I download Portraits and Prints which I could use for free. However, I have downloaded this and note that DEMO watermark will appear on all photos unless I purchase the program. Is there a way to print without the DEMO watermark using this program or is there another free program that will allow me to print multiple copies of a single photo on a single page? Please help as I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple and it has gotten me no closer to a solution - something I could easily have done on the older versions of I Photo. Thanks!

Sadly, I have no pull down menu when I click on Customize or settings? I am using IPhoto 08 vers. 7.0.1. I was told by Apple HELP that this feature is not yet available, even though the instructions say to do exactly what you have said. But there is no pull down menu and no option to print multiple photos. It says print a single photo and it is clicked and I cannot unclick it. Any help would be appreciated. Do you actually have a pull down menu with Print Multiple Copies of One Photo as an option? What version of IPhoto provides this? Apple seems to think it is not available and it certainly isn't available on my system. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
