Using DejaOffice has worked just fine, but it would have been nice if I could have brought up, say, a task, on a browser at work, made a change to a list, and then been able to sync it to the phone. I can do that with Google, but I refuse to 'go Android.' I had kinda hoped I could do that with iCloud, but speaking of backups, I don't want to entrust everything to the cloud, any cloud, exclusively. I guess I'm just old fashioned that way. Thanks.
Not sure what you mean regarding Backup. iCloud is not a backup system, it is the data store itself, if all you have is iCloud then you have no backup.

If your printer supports AirPrint but does not work then:
Your printer might need a firmware update
Your printer must be on the same WiFi network
Your router must support Bonjour (Zero-configuration networking).
For troubleshooting:
Turn Off iPad, WiFi router (remove from power), and Printer (remove from power).
Turn on WiFi router
Wait 30 seconds
Turn on printer
Wait 30 seconds
Turn on iPad
Try to print.

Can't print wireless with my HP OfficeJet 6410 connected to Time Capsule

Today I've replaced my Netgear Rangemax 240 wireless router by a brand new Apple Time Capsule (dual band), but now I can't print any more with my HP OfficeJet 6410 All-in-One WiFi printer. I see my WiFi network in the menu of the printer and the printer 'says' that it has been connected okay, but I can't find the printer at my Bonjour printers as this functionality gives all kind of strange errors back in the Aiport Utility when I want to tick the box 'share printers via the internet using Bonjour'. I can't tick this box in the Airport Utility ....

Whatever magic makes HP wireless printers work is intolerant of changes like this. I think you'll have to reinstall the printer using HP's installation program. Here's a link if you don't have it:

Pages '09 offered two types of documents.
Word processing documents included a text layer, and consisted of sections made up of multiple pages. If no section breaks were inserted, a fifty page document could consist of a single section. Text could be placed directly into the text layer, and Objects could be placed on the page as Floating Objects, independent of the text, and able to make text flow around themselves, or could be placed as Inline Objects, inserted into the line of text running from beginning to end of the document, and moving with the text as it was edited.
In a Page Layout document, each page was a single section. There was no text layer, so only objects could be placed on the page. Any text had to be contained in a Text box or in a Shape. Unless grouped, each object was independent of the others.
Changing your images from Floating to Inline objects may be the key to your document rearranging issues. They can be changed back to Floating after being moved to theor new locations.

How can I print wirelessly from my ipad mini to a non-AirPrint network printer?

Does anyone know of a work around to print wirelessly from ipad mini or any apple wireless devices to a network printer that is NOT Airprint ready? I have a trial of Printopia installed on my desktop connected to the network and it seems to work BUT the desktop has to be awake or on for this to work. My wireless router is a new ASUS N66U with supported usb port for printers which my printer is connected to. My PC laptop is able to see the printer but the ipad mini and iphone 5 cannot. I could return the router and exchange for Apple Airport wireless router if I know it would make a difference. Thanks.

According to the printer specs, your printer has no wireless connectivity and is not airrprint enabled so unfortunately you won't be able to print from your ipad.

Can't print wirelessly with HP 7410 printer using Airport Extreme

I've got 3 Macs (2 laptops, one desktop) that I was using successfully with my wireless HP 7410 all in one printer using my old Airport Base (snow) Station (822 b & g). Just upgraded for a variety of reasons to the new Airport Extreme Base station and I have NOT been able to get the printer to print wirelessly.
I have tried all available normal methods, including, but not limited to:
1) resetting and restarting the printer and computer
2) installing new printer software, including driver
3) deleting and reinstalling printers using the "print and fax" system preference
4) using the printer on a non-secure network
5) setting up the printer to connect via IPP and LPP
The end result of all of this is that the printer is attached to the network, but the computer (any of the 3) cannot connect to the printer. When I run the HP setup assistant, it cannot "find" the printer.
Everything was working perfectly before I "upgraded." Why am I not able to print with the new base station?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same proble trying to print. I have a Mac and 2 PC laptops. I tried to print to three different printers and it will not work. I called Apple support and I was told that it was set up and configured correctly, that it ust be my firewall blocking the printer. Your router does not support printing through the USB port. It only supports USB hard drives.

How can I print photo with text underneath?

Hi, I'm trying to print pages of small images of my work - maybe nine to an A4 page - with the title of the work underneath each image. I can't see how to do this in iPhoto. If I export a medium image to a Word document, is this the way to do it? I don't have iLife or iWork. Thanks.

To add to Terence's suggestion put your comments in the Description field for each photo (click on the blue "i" button at the bottom left) and then print a contact sheet with the option to include the Comments (and any other field) under each photo.

I have created a .m4v file from iPhoto and would like to share it with someone else knowing that the file is quiet large (86 Mo), i used to share file with mobileme, how Can I do that with iCloud ? or another way....

In iphoto, I have create a diaporama which I exported to itunes as a m4v file. I would like to share this file with someone but it is too big to send it via email (84 Mo). This file is now in my films in itunes. Is there a way to share it via icloud.
I used to share files using mobileme which I cannot use anymore.

How recently did you switch? If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account. The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices. I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...

How can you print something from icloud? I'd like to print a copy of my schedule for someone from the calendar, but print is disabled. Going around that, the pages in the preview are blank.

So far I am only seeing the possibility of being able to print my schedule from my computer at home in iCal.
It doesn't seem possible to save it as a PDF since the pages appear blank on the print preview. Is this just the broswer I am using, or is printing really not possible? I could share it to "anyone" (since this person doesn't have iCloud), but to be honest I don't feel very comfortable with having something like that "open" on the web. Even though it's only through that specific link, it still would exist out there for someone to potentially stumble onto it.
Any ideas, or is it just not possible to do this?

A bit of a pain, but you'll need to take a screenshot and print that, Skitch makes taking such screenshots much easier if you are interested.

I was under the impression that I can print to a wireless printer on my network through Apple TV??
I have connected Apple TV to my network and can play music etc but printing is still not enabled though my iPhone or iPad.

The Apple TV is for having content streamed to it to play it on a TV and audio speakers. You may be thinking of airport express or extreme to have printers etc.
