    Why are SO many people asking this question, and no one is answering? Why does no one at Apple ever answer these "support" discussions? It's just millions of people upset for various reasons (such as broken off buttons on the iPhone 4S that my poor mother has experienced, among thousands and thousands of others with ZERO help from Apple). And the only people who do find help here, get it from others who find workarounds without Apple's help.
    I also have the same question as above, (and the thousands of others do as well - do a quick Google search or just look at all the similar posts to the right).  I've tried to call Apple, and I keep getting re-directed to their website. I search their website, and no answer is provided. PLEASE RESPOND Apple. Geez louise. For such a profitable company, they sure don't help their customers very well. I have so many Apple products, I can't even count.

    You can't, once you redeem a card it's balance is transferred to your account, you can't transfer it back to the card. If you've only just redeemed the card and haven't spent any of it then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can put it back onto to the card or transfer it to a different account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    If the DC Comic App allows for in-app purchases you should be able to, so long as you load the gift card on your iTunes account.

    Usually other is files that have been copied to the iPod directly, or space you have told the iPod to reserve for other files by enabling disk use.

    Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is  critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID. 
    You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

    If you mean in-app purchases, yes, in most cases a gift balance will work. Some apps do not accept gift balances, but I've not heard of a game where that is the case.
