How can I put a transparent and/or non-transparent logo on my iMovie project?

I am creating mixtapes or videos for a company that wants me to put logos on the video, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that yet... can anyone help? I'd like to place a different logo in each bottom corner if possible too?

This can easily be done. Check out this website. It has a tutorial video that explains how to use the "Picture in Picture effect in iMovie. By using this effect, you will be able to add a logo on your video.

You can't. You can't export part of a sequence. Duplicate it and remove the bits you don't want to export from the duplicate.

How can i put music drive AND a time machine drive on wireless network?

Right now I have a MacBook with ONE external drive with my music and movies… and ANOTHERexternal drive for my backups.
I would LOVE to figure out how to hook both the music drive and the time machine drive to a wireless router so the only plug I have for my laptop is the power plug.
I already have a NetGear wireless router… but it only has ethernet ports out, no usb.
What would be the best/easiest way to network these two external hard drives?

Another option, where you can still utilize your existing drives, is to consider a dedicated NAS device that supports both Time Machine and iTunes functions. One such NAS device is the Synology DS415+. It would be far superior than what you have now. Albeit at an additional cost.

If the ASP/JSP detects it was submitted (by looking at the request URL or form parameters), it queries the database and displays the report; otherwise it doesn't query the DB or show any report.
How would I do this with with portlets?

I tried the above, but it didn't work. The form was displayed, but I couldn't find any way to make it go to the report. Is there something more that needs to be done? I'm new to Portal, so any help you can give me on entering parameters and passing them to a form (preferably on the same physical page) would be appreciated.

How can I put latest iTunes and iPod updater on a disc to send to soldier?

My brother in law is in Iraq. He has a first generation nano and I want to send him the Nike+ kit. From my understanding, he will need the latest iTunes and have to update the software on his iPod. Trouble is, he does not have Internet access and so I need to send him whatever files he might need. Believe I can download iTunes 7.0.2, but does it not go to the web to get the iPod update? You can use this updater and this version of iTunes with a first generation iPod nano, without requiring a connection to the Internet.
If you need to do this with an iPod not supported by the standalone updater, download the software on your computer, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, enter ~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates as the folder's path, and copy the contents of this folder to the CD. How can I put current date and time in Photo Info (Print module)?

I often use the Photo Info option in the Print Module to caption my proofs with File Number plus the date and time the print is made. This allows me to match up the print to the History state for the image, so I know which print version I'm looking at. I've always wanted to get Lightroom to automatically enter the date and time the print is made. It obviously knows this info, since it stamps the History state with date and time. Currently I have to modify my caption manually with Custom text each time I make a print. This is a major PITA. Has anyone figured out how to get Lightroom to do this?

You can create a new document (»Background Contents« set to »Transparent«), use the Type Tool (T) to create text and then save in a format that supports layers like psd, psb, tif.
If the receiving application can’t handle those png24 is another option.

In my current Firefox, the "new tab" icon/item from the "customize" pop-up window menu of items is placed next to my home, back, forward buttons near the top-left of my header (Button 1 for "new tab"). Then, the tab bar automatically come with a small tab (with a + sign) to the right of your last tab opened (so you click on + and a new tab opens. Button 2 for "new tab"). I like to have this "new tab" button twice (as a + mini tab, and next to my "home icon".
When I upgraded to Firefox 4, I seemed to be only able to "customize" or use the "new tab" in one place. Either as an icon next to home button, or as a "+ minitab", but NOT both.
What can I do to put this button in Firefox 4 on BOTH places???

That is usually an indication that the Volume was never Erased or Partitioned for GUID partition table and Mac OS, and is still in a Windows format.
