How can i put or create ringtones on my iPhone 3G?

I have downloaded an App from the App Store on my iPhone 3G. The video for putting the ringtones onto the iPhone after creating them uses an old version of iTunes which included a ringtones folder in the iTunes sidebar. Since the newest version of iTunes does not include the ringtones folder, can I still use thi ringtones that I have created or should I just get rid of them and the Appas well?

iTunes on my desktop only shows my old music (I hadn't used it in over a year) and I recently got an iPhone 4 but iTunes on my laptop only shows my new music. How can I get it all in one place and on my iPhone?

There are a few ways to do this!
Is your laptop the "new iTunes" linked to the iPhone4?
Lets presume so.
this only works with non-DRM files/ your personal music files.
Go to your desktop.
1. You need to find the iTunes Media folder that holds your music.
Method A : Using Spotlight : type "iTunes media"
Open this folder.
See "music" folder.
Double click on this and it will have all your old music.
Copy this folder onto a Flashdrive/external drive. (call the folder "Old Music")
Then disconnect the flashdrive from your desktop and take it over to your laptop.
Open the Finder and find your flashdrive with the Old Music folder.
OPen that folder (It should have all your old music!)
Selct all and drag and drop this onto iTunes!!
Sync your iPhone!
Method B to find the Media file with your old music.
Click Finder.
Under places you should have your user name.
Click on this
You should then have a series of folders : Applications/Desktop etc.
One of these will be Music.
Click or dble click! on this. Find iTunes. Double click again.
Find a folder called Music...and then follow steps above to copy to a flashdrive....
Please note if you have copyright files in your Old iTunes, you can use a program like senuti or podworks to rip your stuff to a folder and then transfer to your "new music"....a bit more confusing!

Go to Settings > iCloud and log in with the Apple ID. Then, go to Photos > Photo Stream and you should see your photos. Press Share button, select them and import to your device

So my computer had to be refreshed, I had ripped my CD's to iTunes and also purchased some, the purchased ones are still on iTunes but all of the ones that I had ripped have gone. I have them on my iphone 5, is there a way to put all of the music from the iphone back on to itunes? Have tried "Googling" without success have tried a converter app but still no joy. PLS HELP !!!

I download an new iTunes, of course nothing inside!
I just want to know how can I put back all my things in iPhone to the new iTunes!
That's means I have all the things( songs, apps...etc ) in my iPhone and I just want to copy those things fully to the new iTunes, without losing anything!

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some strange reason you have failed to backup ( not good at all), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Did the ringtone come as an attachment? If so just save the file. If you downloaded it when you opened the email it should be in your downloads.
