i am a newcomer developer，i am now on a App project about the apple device，we think the corrct information of a device is vital， so our new App will ask user to enter the device id like ＂DLXFH......"，then comes the problem， how can our new App get the information of the device ，like produced time， memory size， ，，，，？any one replied？

You can't get that information.
You can discover what type of capabilities the device has (camera, microphone, etc.).

    I found this discussion because I need to create dozens of Apple IDs for the faculty and staff of the school for which I'm the IT Director.
    This is weak.
    Apple, PLEASE upgrade the Apple ID system so it represents the current needs and paradigm.
    What am I thinking, Apple (like Google) don't follow user discussion forums, except by accident when an employee sees something and is motivated enough to carry the water for users in need.

If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? If I can just log in out of the AppleID, then I have no problem doing that as long as the synced apps, music, etc stays there for both. I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times.     I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this.     You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
    Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

    I've had an iPad for almost two years. When I purchased an iPhone last fall I set it up to use the same Apple ID as my iPhone. I've had no problems doing this. Try resetting each device and see what happens.
    First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

    Thanks pvonk, I will try downloanding the book from the Iphone right now.......
    Just tried to download and it wants me to buy it again?  Is there some way around this?  I guess I thought that was the whole point of the cloud, buy it once and access from any of your devices right?
    Also, I have logged into the icloud.com as suggested and will plink around there for a bit and try to understand.  It is just all so dang different that what I am used to; Apple's way, that is.

    Geez. one other thing (I guess I am complaining) but I bought more space in the cloud, they took my cash fast enough but have not yet increase the size of my storage space yet?  Is Apple sometimes slow to get internal stuff done?

    Tthe brute force method: start with Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My (you will need the password), then change the iCloud ID, then go to the apps such as Messages, FaceTime, etc, and delete the Apple ID and enter the new one.

    The devices linked to your Apple ID have absolutely nothing to do with the 5 computer limit that is causing the issue.
    Devices like iPhones, iPads, iPods do not count towards the 5 computer limit.
    Simply deauthorize the computers that you no longer use or if you no longer have access to them, deauthorize all and authorize only the computers you have that actually need access to the content.

    You cannot turn it on remotely. Griping and complaining won't make it any better.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Anything you do on one phone will not affect the other.
    All you need to do is log out of iTunes and then back in using your other account details, you will no longer be able to update apps purchased under the first account.
    If you change your iTunes account, you may not be able to change it back again for 90 days.
