How can I quickly load up a very large ".RTF" file ? Pages

Called a local Apple store and they were unable to answer the above question. Anyone possessing the experience in fast RTF file conversion to either Pages or Word would be helpful.

You should see it on the Dock, in Mission Control or be able to open it by typing Preview in Spotlight.
It usually is the application that opens when you click on any image file or pdf.
Just follow my instructions, copy and paste or drag and drop from Finder.
You don't open the pdf, opening is for .pages, .doc, rtf or txt files that Pages can open as word processing files.
You can alternatively:
Menu > Insert > Choose… > browse to your pdf
But the other methods are faster and easier.

I would like to assign the above code to a variable and use that variable in the following logic <?xdoxslt:ifelse(VARIABLE>0,round(VARIABLE),-1*round(xdoxslt:abs(VARIABLE)))?>
to perform a round_up function ("Symmetric" rounding). Oracle doesn't have a function for this yet ..
How can I make this assignment directly in the .rtf file ?

I did not want to change the data (sql).
Also, I did try to make it run using the xdoxslt:set_variable () function and xdoxslt:get_variable() function. However, this was not required and was making it more complex than required.
It is now solved using a formula for symmetric rounding (rounding away from 0) :
<?xdoxslt:ifelse(VARIABLE),-1*round(xdoxslt:abs(VARIABLE))?>
I substituted the VARIABLE with my calculation : (sum(DAYS_LATE ) div count(PAYMENT))

How can NI FBUS Monitor display very large recorded files

NI FBUS Monitor version 3.0.1 outputs an error message "Out of memory", if I try to load a large recorded file of size 272 MB. Is there any combination of operating system (possible Vista32 or Vista64) and/or physical memory size, where NI FBUS Monitor can display such large recordings ? Are there any patches or workarounds or tools to display very large recorded files?

NI-FBUS Monitor does not set the limitation on the maximum record file size. The physical memory size in the system is one of the most important factors that affect the loading of large record file. Monitor will try loading the entire file into the memory during file open operation.
272MB is a really large file size. To open the file, your system must have sufficient physical memory available. Otherwise "Out of memory" error will occur.
I would recommend you do not use Monitor to open a file larger than 100MB. Loading of a too large file will consume the system memory quickly and decrease the performance.

How can I quickly view pdf files like I can do with Windows Picture and Fax viewer for jpg files? I need to look at several thousand PDF files. It takes too long to open each one individually. The only thing I could think of is combining them into large groups and then using the Navigation index. But I like the way windows Picture and Fax Viewer does it because you can keep the files separate. Combining PDFs causes loss of individual file names. That would be a problem since I do need to have the individual file names.

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is a DLL and is started via a rundll32.exe call and can't be set as an application to handle images in Firefox 3 and later versions.
Try to set Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the default viewer in Windows, then it should be listed automatically in the Mozilla Firefox Browse dialog.

Hi everyone,
Im new to FCPX. I have a bunch of videos of music gigs ive played and would like to increase the bass (via equalizer) on most of them. All these videos are already converted into an "Apple Friendly" format and are sitting comfortably in my Itunes Video folder. How can i quickly increase the bass in each video (Without having to tediously export one by one) in FCPX and do a quick overwrite over the original video without having to make an EXTRA file?

Only once you've got iOS 5+ on the iPad can updates then be done wirelessly directly on the iPad, until then you need to update via your computer.
