HOW CAN I RE-INSTALL MY BACKED UP MUSIC BACK ON PC (XP)?

I read several posts by folks (missmagoo, john rashleigh, buttod…) with similar problems however, my situation is different in that I have my music backed up. I would like to avoid installing third party software on my computer and also avoid going thru the tedious task of sorting thru folders in my iPod to retrieve music.
Due to PC problems, I had to reformat my PC hard drive and reload XP operating system and all other programs. Before doing this however, I copied my computer’s MY MUSIC folder (which contains all my music) to an external hard drive (12GB of music).
MY MUSIC contained 2 subfolders; ITUNES and ITBACKUP.
ITUNES has all my music in subfolder ITUNES MUSIC.
ITBACKUP has the following files:
iTunes 4 Music Library.itl 2,614 KB 1/19/05
iTunes Music Library.xml 3,369 KB 1/19/05
I don’t remember if I created the ITBACKUP folder or if iTunes did it during the initial installation. They are both dated 1/19/05 (Strange, I’ve added lots of music since 1/19/05).
After setting up my PC, I reinstalled iTunes (without connecting my iPod) and updated iTunes to version 7.5. I registered my iPod s/n. After the installation was complete, the following files appeared in folder MY MUSIC\ITUNES\
iTunes 4 Music Library.itl 10 KB 12/15/07
iTunes Library.itl 36 KB 12/15/07
iTunes Music Library.xml 10 KB 12/15/07
I’m not sure exactly how to proceed at this point given my situation. Can I just dump my music folders in the “iTunes Music” folder and then import (or Add Folder to Library?)? Will I be able to sync my iPod and PC and not lose music currently in my iPod?
It’s been a couple of months since I’ve connected my iPod to my PC so, I'm not sure if my iPod was up to date or if my iTunes was at ver 7.5.

I forgot to mention that 99% of my music was originally imported into iTunes from CDs I own and not from iTunes store purchases.

You first need to uninstall the application completely.
In Mac :-- Applications --->Utilities --->Adobe Installers
in Adobe installers you will find the uninstaller for Indesign CC just run that and complete the uninstallation.
In window :-- Control panel ---> programs and features --> uninstall Indesign cc.
After doing this you can launch Creative cloud desktop ---> log out and log back in.
You should see the option to install the software again.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

My iTunes laptop died followed by my iPhone having to be restored the following day... how can I get all my back ed up info back??

My XP laptop upon which I ran iTunes died two days ago... then the very next day I turned off my iPhone and upon turning it back on it needed to be restored!! This I had to do on my newer W7 laptop by downloading and installing Itunes (as i hadn't put it on that laptop)... My phone was already running IOS 5... which it re-installed but my phone has been wiped clean.
I originally used an ext HD for all my (known) iTunes files.... and I have plugged this into my newer laptop... my music files are there, so I can sync those, but my phone cannot see Films or Apps... (although I can see a file full of my Apps???)

You will want to add the same User account(s) which hold the data you want to restore. So you will want to add a User account of 'Hans or hans'. Check your Time Machine back up drive to see how the User account is labeled (Hans or hans). Navigate to the Users folder and see how it's labeled.
You can then use your Time Machine back up drive and navigate to the User Home folder to copy its data over (e.g. contents from Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, etc.). Repeat for other Users.

I downloaded 4.0.1 and lost all my Yahoo toolbar apps but still have the Yahoo search bar. How can I get the apps back? Refreshing the "gear" does nothing.

Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Some may not apply to your model. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.

If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
11. Reset the NVRAM.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?
