How can I re-play the same selection over and over again without having to stop and go back to the beginning every time manually?
I just want to find out how to choose a single song and play it repeatedly without having to stop and restart manually each time.

Yes you can, easily. When you plug the first pad in to sync, note the name of the pad on the last pane. Set up for that device whatever you want to sync. When you are done, plug the second pad in. Make sure it has a different name on the left pane. Then sync to that pad whatever you want. I tunes will remember what you did on each pad, and will start from there the next time you plug in.

You can have iTunes reference the content where ever it is on your HDD without copying the content to the iTunes library, thus using twice the space.
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library," iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. To adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes Preferences.

Additionally if you want the content to then ALSO be located in your iTunes Library folder so everything is all kept together nice and tidy, use this:
Consolidate your files in the iTunes folder
Depending on how you imported items into iTunes, some items in your library might be stored in different locations (in another folder or on another hard disk, for example).
You can consolidate all the files in your library in the iTunes folder—for example, to make it easier to move your library to a new computer.
Choose File > Library > Organize Library.
Select “Consolidate files.”Files remain in their original locations, and copies are placed in the iTunes folder.
To create folders (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and so on) inside your iTunes folder, and place all your imported media files in the appropriate folders, select “Reorganize files in the folder ‘iTunes Media.’”

Looking for an app that I can save what I highlight when I am reading an article without having to copy and paste
I looked at Bento and at first glance I think it would do everything I want it to do, then I saw a review or something from a customer that indicated the information in Bento could not be exported (say to send out a mailing). I may want a program that can do that as well, is there one out there? If not it does look like Bento will work. When you save a picture to a customer in Bento can you open it up full size?

How can I make PLAY button be selected by default in top menu?
Hi, I usually have the PLAY button and all the scene selection buttons show up in the same top menu on my DVD's. Is there a way to have the PLAY button be the one that is initially selected when the DVD starts up. In other words, I don't want people to have to scroll the various buttons on the menu to get to the PLAY button. I want it to be selected by default, so all they have to do is hit the PLAY button on their remote control to start the movie.

Robert - the 'Enter' button (or your 'Return' key on your keyboard) are the only ways you'll get the simulator to begin to play your project. The Triangular play button is for when you are in a motion menu or track and you pause and re-start playback, and isn't used to select entries on the menu. When you start a track, note how the triangular play button becomes a pause button when the track starts running, and it is no longer greyed out... if you click it, you'll see the triangle return and also not be greyed out. -
I was able to burn the whole contents of a playlist on several CDs in a row. When I do it now however it will re-burn the same selection over and over again without moving to the next. What can be done?

I have iTunes on a Mac with the iTunes Media folder stored locally and the music on an external USB-HD. The music files are Not copied to iTunes Media folder when added to the library.
Now I want to move my files from USB-HD to a NAS without losing any information or settings. I want to do the similar to my iPhoto library. I do not want to consolidate my files to iTunes Media folder. The articles I’ve read only discuss how to do if the files are copied to iTunes Media folder when added to the library. How are you achieving the above? What are your copy setting in preferences? If you are manually overriding the copy-to by holding down the option key while adding media then that won't apply when you import a playlist (as in importing the .xml). When you import a playlist like that you are essentially adding the files to the library again and it will obey the preferences setting since you can't option add them that way.
Correct on the .itl. Only iTunes itself can edit that file.
I think you need to review your basic wants/needs in doing all this. If your reason for not wanting to use the Media Folder settiing is because you do not want it to go on the internal drive, but you don't actually mind if it organizes it as long as it is on the NAS, change the Media Folder preferences setting to the NAS and let it consolidate to there. If you want to move the stuff but keep it organized in your own folder structure you may need to do it as I suggested initially. Once it is on the NAS and iTunes recognize the file locations you can do what you can only do if you manually manage music which is move it around in Finder afterward once it is on the drive and recognized to tweak location to your final wishes. -
The PC, (Sony Vaio) if i scrolled half way through my bookmarks and clicked on one, if i returned to bookmarks it would open in the same location from where i clicked previously.
The Mac, every time i open my bookmarks, it opens at the top of the list.
Can this be adjusted to work like my old PC?

I do not think someone should be forced to upgrade to iOS 7 (I think it's ugly design-wise) just to get FaceTime to work. I paid for a phone that has FaceTime as a feature and I think my feature should work without me having to change my phone.
I also have this problem... For all of the people above who are getting snotty - you're being rather single-minded about your particular use of the iPhone. I live in an African country where it's typical to wait 10 minutes for a medium sized PDF file to upload. I purchased an iPhone 4S in large part due to Facetime being the most stable option for video calls with my parents. Here, I **cannot** update my iOS, the available internet simply does not allow for it. My parents, who live in Canada, but in a remote area where they rely on cellular data, also purchased iPhones in order to use Facetime. But Apple does not allow updating the iOS over data!
The Windows example above is a perfect demonstration of just why this is unacceptable -- internet explorer does not simply cease to function one day (without warning), forcing me to update to a different version of Windows or use an alternative. If I start out having it, I will continue to have it.
It is unacceptable to market a product for its features, then require the buyer to take additional steps in order to restore said feature. If I am required to update in order to get cool *new* features, that is totally fair. But it is not unreasonable to expect that a relatively new product should continue working as advertised, and as it has been!
If anyone learns of any other possible solutions, I will be delighted to hear them. -

I have 3 apple devices an IPad Air/ iPhone5 and iphone4s they all currently running the IOS 8.3 and my question is:
How can I retrieve the restrictions passcodes in all of them without have to restore them all back to the factory settings ?
I have all the backups in my Icloud , but if I do that they all will come back to the same settings I have now which includes the same passcodes I don't remember. I had all my passwords and passcodes saved before, but I cant find them.

Thank you!There's no way around restoring the device as new if you cannot remember your restrictions password. If there were, it would make having a restriction password useless.

Whatever changes made in STANDARD SELECETION SCREEN 1000 or screens generated using 'SELECTION-SCREEN' statements, are not permanent.
It will get back to its original appearance, while you execute again or some time later.
Whenever you get into 'CHANGE' mode of these screens, an information will be displayed as follows ;
Selection screen: Report generation makes screen
changes ineffective

I have multiple album titles of the same name with different artists. How can I get them to go under one album title again?
In iTunes(on a Mac or PC) just tap on 'Albums' rather than 'Artists' and you'll see them all together.
You may find that there are songs mislabelled. In which case right tap on the Album or Artist and tap 'Get Info', then change to the correct name and the songs will join the rest of the songs for that Artist or Album.
Then resync with your iPhone and all will be well.
