How can I re-show hidden iCloud playback items?

My family shares an iTunes account accross three computers. Recently I learned the hard way that when you hide an item from iCloud playback in the new iTunes 11 it gets hidden from the other computers and the "Purchased" link in the store. I accidentally hid all of the holiday songs from iCloud playback but now that by Dad needs to reorganize the library to include holiday music, he couldn't find any of the music on the "Purchased link" which is how I found out that it works like that. Is there a way that I can re-show these songs, they still show up as purchased if you go to the main search and find that particular song? i need to put those songs back into the "Purchaced" link, and be able to play them from iCloud again.

I believe I had the same problem as you. To view items that are hidden from icloud. You need to:
1. In itunes go to "iTunes Store"
2. Select your iTunesID, should be upper left.
3. In drop down menu select "Account"
4. Under "iTunes in the Cloud", select "View Hidden Purchases" (should more towards the right portion, part way down the screen).
5. From there you should be able to see anything that you hide or deleted from the normal purchase menu.

I've started linking to files on my computer like this, 'Index of file:///Users/michaelo/Dropbox/KN' which works fine apart from the fact that this calls up all the hidden files, which do not want to see by default.
There's a checkbox "Show hidden objects" which will hide these when unchecked. But settings are per folder and of course aren't remembered between sessions.
Is there a way via about:config to hide hidden objects by default?

How can I see the hidden file and erase it?

I had to make a file starting "." and had to put it on my FTP client. I made it by Text Edit and Microsoft word and save it. Since it is hidden file, I can't see on my Mac but when I use the FTP client and click post, the file listing was showed up and I can check as "Show Hidden file". Then I could post the files on the FTP client. However, since I don't need it on my computer, I'd like to erase it but can't find the files. How can I find the hidden files? Thank you.

if you know the folder then navigate to that folder. Open the Terminal application in your Utiities folder and do the following::
Enable Finder to Show Invisible Files and Folders

To turn off the display of invisible files and folders enter or paste the following command line and press RETURN.

Alternatively you can use one of the numerous third-party utilities such as TinkerTool or ShowHideInvisibleFiles - VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

How can I put all my photos in the iCloud Drive and view the photos from all my devices? And how can my wife view all these photos from her devices - that is .. how can she see all my iCloud Drive photos on her devices?

I'm not sure understand you at this point.....
Have you set up a "shared photo stream" to share your photos with your wife? [System Preferences -> iCloud .. then check the box next to "Photos" and click on "Options" to the immediate right.... in the Options drop down make sure "iCloud Photo Sharing" is checked...
Then open iPhoto - select in the sidebar the album you want to share (if you only want to share individual photos select these in the main window)
Then click on the "Share" icon on the lower right of the iPhoto window - a little menu with icons will popup. Click on the iCloud icon in that menu... the next menu that pops up should be titled "Share"
Click on the first item (New Photo Stream --the one with the "+" sign) and create a "shared album" - a drop down window will appear at the top of iPhoto... just fill out the form (whom you want to share it with, the name of the shared album, etc. - if you want your wife to be able to add photos to the shared album, check off the box that says "Subscribers can post"
Your wife will have to agree to "subscribe" to this shared item (she will get "invite on her device - ) - once it is set up to see the shared photos in iPhoto click on "iCloud" in the sidebar under "Shared" and it will show you any shared albums in addition to your own Photo Stream... on devices, to see the shared album, open the Photos app... at the bottom one of your choices will be "shared" (a cloud icon) - touch that icon and you will get a list of all your shared iCloud albums as well as "activity"...
No need to "export" anything manual, etc.

If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

Our house was broken into this past thursday and the burglars took her ipad along with a couple hp laptops. I have since changed my apple & icloud ID and passwords, but still seeing it showing up as logged in when I go check device usage in my icloud's setting. The ipad location option was set on OFF, which means I have no way of tracking it. So How can I use icloud channel to lock it out of my icloud? I already done signing out everywhere thru icloud's adance data & security feature. Greatly appreciate for any advice you can provided.

YES, that is the free 5GB icloud memory for each apple ID. Can I not add the free 5Gb of my second Iphone to my original apple ID (5GB also) as I want to use one Apple ID name on both 2 Iphones? If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. As currently designed, you cannot. Once iCloud detects you are on mobile Safari, it switches you to the iPad screen.
If you had another browser that would allow you to pretend you were a desktop Safari client, ie8 or 9, or Firefox, that might work.
But, Puffin and Opera mini don't work.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

Thank you Roger! Going into my iTunes at least allowed me to delete my credit card info so they can't charge it. In the meantime, after 2 calls I finally got connected to a Senior Advisor from Apple who was able to manually go into my account and remove the automatic charge to my credit card. After sharing my screen, she was able to see the issue many others are having being unable to downgrade. There is a bug in the system that tells you the manage storage is "unavailable at this time". She followed me through several of these threads and realized it is actually an issue. She took all the relevant information and will submit a bug fix request. She even admitted that goal and apple were having an issue syncing to the correct time zone at that there was no know fix at this time. While frustrating, the honesty was refreshing.
Thank you SO much for you quick response on this! My apologies for my tone; this was my first time using this forum. I went through Apple support and didn't realize that there are no Apple employees on here. I was on the line with someone from customer service that wasn't as helpful at the time and was very frustrated..
Thanks again for your help! To all others having this problem, keep calling Apple tech support until you get a Senior Advisor - they will help!! The advisor even told me to tell people to call in and that they need to manually downgrade on their end until they get this issue resolved.
