How can I reach my playlists on my ipod?

Hi, I can use spotify on my ipad, android phone and my computer but I cannot reach my playlists from my ipod. I signed in from facebook account, deleted app and reinstalled but still I don't see any changes. I read something here but still same.

If these playlists were created on your iPod they must be "on the go" playlists.

I got a real scare tonight. My iPod froze, got the sad mac face and I couldn't get it to reset, couldn't get iTunes to see it, etc. I finally let it charge for a few hours and it came back to life. I've had my iPod for 4 years. I know there will come a day when I may have to do a Software Restore on it. How can I back-up my playlists from my iPod? Here's my set-up:
1) All of the music in my iTunes music library resides on an external 250GB hard drive.
2) All of the playlists on my iPod were created on the iPod. I have 40 playlists. These playlists do not appear in my iTunes unless my iPod is connected to my computer. If I ever have to do a software restore on this, I don't want to have try and re-create these 40 playlists.

If you sync automatically, you can choose specific playlists to sync. If you sync manually, you can drag songs to your device.

Plug your device in
In itunes on the left hand side click on the Disclosure triangle - it will show your playlists from your device
Right click on each playlist and click Export-
After exporting them to your comptuer you can import those playlists in to itunes

iTunes on our computer has at least 2000 songs and I previously went through it and made a playlist of about 700 of songs that I like, so everytime I wanted to add the songs that I like onto another device I would not have to go through 2000 songs again. Sadly I directly put my playlist onto my phone which gave me all of my music but an extra useless playlist that included all of my songs, so I deleted it off my iPhone. This wasn't a problem until I reconnected it to my computer. Because I deleted the playlist off of my phone it also deleted it off of my itunes on my mac as well as deleting multiple random songs off of my phone. The songs can no longer be re-arranged (assuming that's what you meant). I think songs can still be added and deleted.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -
Locate and organize your iTunes files
If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

Hi there. I have an iPhone 4, equipped with all of my music from my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro laptop. I often create playlists on my phone (when it is not plugged into the computer). When I went to plug my phone into the laptop to sync some new songs and things, it replaced the playlists I had made on my phone with the ones already on the computer. How can I get the playlists that I had made on my phone back? I really don't want to have to recreate all of those playlists...is their any way to retrieve those playlists? Since this is PC version using XP I'm afraid you'll have to check in on the PC side.
Caution: just say your using XP Home and trying out the trial. Don't mention the word Mac. PC folks, would make you regret doing that. As much as its so 80's and 90's for such behavior its still around.

First get iTunes on your PC. Then plug your iPod in and go to the music, yo. You Cannot sync playlist if you select to sync your entire library. But you can sync playlists of you choose to sync selected songs.
You can also create a playlist on your iPod just by holding the center button on a song and select add to "on the go". This " on the go" is a playlist and will be transfers to your PC if you plug your iPod in again.
