A few years ago I bought music from Itunes.  Recently I deactivated all computers in order to add a new computer.  Most of the music I purchased came through, but I am still missing about 30% of it.  How can I download all the music I have purchased from Itunes?

Might have luck with that here >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer on the iTunes Store.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchases.

I have photos on my iphone 4 that i'm trying to transfer to iphoto.  The problem is when I plug the phone in, it only wants to transfer the new photos, not all.  How can I take all the photos off my phone and put them into iphoto? Even if there are duplicates, I'd like to make sure I get all the photos from my phone into iphoto.  Thanks

To see all the photos on the phone, including photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, deselect the "Hide Photos Already Imported" checkbox. If the camera contains photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, those photos are hidden by default.

I have just bought a new iphone 4 as an upgrade to my iphone 3GS.  How can I transfer all my apps including saved levels in games etc. and data and folders to the new iphone 4 and keep facetime etc on the new iphone 4. When I have done this for someone else they got all their data etc but lost the Face Time App and teh iphone 4 looked like the iphone 3 screen.

There is no FaceTime app for the iphone, FaceTime is built into the iOS. Follow the directions here:

  • How can i access all the objects of one schema from another schema

    Dear All,
How can i access all the objects(Tables,Views,Triggers,Procedures,Functions,Packages etc..) and do the modifications of one schema from another schema (Without using synonyms concept).
    Thanks in advance,
    Mahi

First of all, synonyms only help you easy reference the object. It doesn't have any implication of object privilege.
As long as you have proper privilege on target object. You can access it with or without synonyms.
Assuming you have proper privilege of objects, you can use following command to assume schema owner.
    ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = Schema_owner

  • How can I read my old text messages after transfer...

OK, I've got a couple of problems. First of all, I've been unable to send text messages from my 6620. As detailed in this older thread,
    /discussions/board/message?board.id=messaging&thread.id=14597
...somebody on Yahoo answers suggested a possible fix, but it requires deleting all the text messages in m "In," "Out," and "Drafts" folders first.
I've therefore been dragging my heels about implementing this fix, as I have numerous text messages on my phone which I'd really like to be able to keep and refer back to in the future. The problem is, the last time I checked, there was no way to read any old text messages that you'd removed from your Nokia smartphone and stored on your computer.
Is this still the case? It seems ridiculous to be that there wouldn't be a way to do something as simple as reading an old text file on your computer, but as I said, the last time I checked, nobody could point to any app or utility that would make this possible.
I do recall being able to open certain "Mail" files on the Mac, using TextEdit, but the Nokia had buried the messages inside an incomprehensible structure of layers upon layers of folders and sub-folders, and when you opened the messages, you'd often have to wade through tons and tons of duplicates, all of which had tons of bizarre, random ascii characters showing up in the bodies of the text messages.
So using TextEdit's not a great solution.
Please, can somebody tell me if there's a program that will enable me to easily find and read my backed-up text messages? Ideally this would be something that works under OS X, but I can use VMWare Fusion or Virtual PC if there's only a Windows solution available. Thank you!

As I said previously, "Of course this will not include any messages you had prior to first using Verizon Messages on your old phone."
Verizon Messages will only sync messages which have been sent/received SINCE you first enrolled in it. It will NOT do so for messages from BEFORE.
You could restore older messages to your phone with an app such as SMS Backup & Restore, but they won't be on Verizon's servers to access from other locations such as desktop/laptop/tablet.

  • HT4009 How can I view all my past in-app purchases on my account?

I want to view all my past in-app purchases that were made on my account and cannot find a single place that allows me to view this information. Please help

You can only view your entire purchase history via your computer's iTunes (that will show your full history, you can't filter it by type of purchase) : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
You can see a cut-down version of your purchases (the last 90 days) and filter by purchase type (I haven't made any in-app purchases but I assume that they will show as a tab on the screen) via http://reportaproblem.apple.com (that page also allows you to optionally contact iTunes Support if you have a problem with a purchase).

  • Ios 7 calendar list view only go back 12 months, how can I sync all my past events

My iphone 5  ios 7 calendar only shows events for past 12 months (ios 6 could show events from the beginning, about 6 years).  I uninstalled and reinstalled itune and related Apple program, also disable add ons in outlook 2007, where calendar and contacts stored.  Now the calendar shows all my past events after I reset sync history in itune but calendar list still only shows past 12 months.  Even the search won't bring any thing that is older than 12 months.
I really really miss my old calendar, so frustrated with ios7, can anyone help me? Did I do anything wrong or missed anything?

In my calendar viewing in a list, I can see days back and forth.
View a list of events.  In month view, tap to see a day’s events. In day view, tap .
Sorry, the icons are missing above, see this help link:

  • How can I kill all Threads of the same class from within the run() method?

    Ok
I have a class called Consumer that extends Thread
I have several Consumer threans running... but, when a certain condition is true (within the run() method) in ANY of the threads, I want to kill ALL the threads of that object.
    is this possible?

I know this is gonna be too demanding, but can someone please tell me why my Consumer's run() method never reaches the System.out.println( "ALL CONSUMING DONE") line
Create a multi-threaded prime number calculator that is based on the producer-consumer model
using semaphores. Your program should be able to check for prime numbers in a range specified
by the user and with a variable number of threads. Example:
    $ java PrimeFind 3 5000 10000
should use 1 producer and 2 consumers (3 threads in total, obviously the minimum is 2) to find all
the prime numbers in the range [5000,10000].
The producer should: use a buffer to store candidate numbers that have to be checked for
    primality.
Consumers should: read from the buffer, check if a number is prime and update the status of the
program accordingly (e.g. show the number on the screen, or save it to a file)

BTW, when I tried to change extends Thread to implements Runnable I got some kinda of error.
Actually, my program is pretty complete... its just that something if messed up in my Consumer's run() method's while loop... I think
I know guys its crazy to ask ya'll to look at so much code, but.... I'd really appreciate it. This assignment is killing me, been at it since 10 hours now....

  • How can i read emails saved on a hard drive (from my MS laptop) on my mac?

Hi!  I have backed up my outlook mail on a hard drive and now want to view the emails on my mac.  Do i have to buy the outlook software to be able to do this? Is there another way to view these emails without having to buy the whole outlook programme? Thanks!

The bookmarks are stored in a file called places.sqlite inside the profile folder. You can copy that file from the old profile folder into the profile folder of the laptop, this will replace the bookmarks in the laptop with those from the desktop.
For details of how to find the profile folder see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
You can recover more than just the bookmarks, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Recovering+important+data+from+an+old+profile

  • How can I import all my favorites (including folders within) from internet explorer?

In internet explorer my favorites are organised into folders but when I try to import these into firefox only the files that aren't in folders comes across, in this case 1.

If you have problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.<br />
That way you also preserve any sorting that you may have done in IE with the Favorites and the favorites won't end up in a "From Internet Explorer" folder, but will be appended at the end of the Bookmarks Menu folder.
    * Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
    * Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File
See "Import from another browser" and "Import from file":

  • How can I download all my Gmail messages before I close the account?

    Hello all,
I want to delete my Gmail account to merge my email, contacts, etc. on iCloud. Is there a way of downloading all my messages so that I have a copy of them before I close down the account?
    Many thanks!

You can always setup your GMail account on your Mac as a POP3 account, and then flag GMail to mark all messages new.  The next mail check would cause your mail app to download all the messages on teh GMail server to your mail client.  Once they are in your mail client, you manage them locally in there, and it won't matter if the GMail host account goes away or not, because POP3 works with the local data once it is downloaded form the server.
Be advised that doing this can cause you to redownload thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of emails depending upon your email volume and how long you have been using GMail.  If I do this, my GMail wants to re-send close to 6GB of data to me again because I have been using GMail for about as long as it has existed, and I average 100-200 emails a day on that account.
