An email in Powerpoint sounds kind of odd, however, you can download neooffice or openoffice to read it. Microsoft hasn't provided a reader for mac in quite awhile.

How can I view the iMessages that were sent to me while I was out of the country? They never loaded, but people have told me that they sent me many iMessages while I was gone.
I figured they would load when I turned on my cellular data, but only my text messages loaded. I would like to see the iMessages I missed because I believe some of them were fairly important.

As far as I understand with this, iMessage works the same as regular txts.The iMessages are held on the messaging server for 72hrs if it's not picked up by then it expires. So those that you didn't get you will never get. Sorry.

How do you know this happened? What is in the message besides addresses? Do you synchronize your contacts with a network service, such as iCloud or Google?

How can I read my email on two computers?

I have two iMac's and want to read my e-mail from both computers.
I have a shared network drive that can contain all the data.
with iPhoto this is easy. You can replace the iPhoto library to any location, open iPhoto with the alt key pressed in and you can select the location of the requested library. In this way both computers an point to the same source.
I want to do the same with mail. I know where to locate the files, but how can i setup mail that it will read from an other location?
(buying OSX server just for this is to much)

Standard behavior for POP is to download messages from the mail server, once downloaded they are erased from the server. You can tweak this default behavior on your mac by setting it to leave a copy on the server for any number of days you wish before telling the server to erase the message(s).
In your case if you set mail to leave messages on the server for 7 days, you could have the same messages on both machines, and a seperate copy of each stored on each machine provided you check the mail at least once a week on each machine. EASY.

Allows your computer to essentially mirror all files and folders on the mail server. Useful for when you want to view from more than one machine, or one machine and some kind of web mail interface.
With both machine set to access via IMAP, you would see on each machine what is actually on the mail server. If you view mail on one machine, delete junk and go to the other machine, you will not see nor have to delete the junk from the second machine. HANDY - but maybe a little more work to configure.

Drag the app icon out of the Apps folder and drop it in the Trash. If you want to make sure that you got all associated files use a deletion app such as AppCleaner.

I read your advice to uninstall an app.using AppCleaner.This seems confusing.When I check the file location to see the total package contents,the file shows considerable more MB's than when I use AppCleaner and not near as much.Using AppCleaner would mean I would be leaving a considerable amount of residual garbage.Why is the AppCleaner not cleaning everything out.If i was to delete from the file location and send it to trash,would I be deleting support files.

How can I send HTML emails that display in Mail?

I have an email newsletter that I recently have begun experimenting with in HTML. The problem is, when I try to use HTML, the message displays properly in things like Yahoo! webmail, but in Mail for OSX, it displays like a regular text message, images and formatting are not used. I'm sending the messages from PHPList. Is there something I need to add to my code to get it to display correctly?

Well, I did check the layout in Safari, and it looked fine. Since I'm not sending the messages from Mail (since it's for a rather large mailing list handled by PHPList), selecting "Mail the Contents of this Page" wouldn't really do very much for me.
If I do try to send the page using that technique, it does work. But I have to use PHPList to compose and mail the message. I just need to know if there's any other code I need to add to make it display in Mail. I can receive other HTML emails no problem, but mine just shows up as text, disregarding images and other elements. I just don't know what's going on here.

The file needed is titled domain.sites and would be located in the Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on the ex-husband's computer. If that file can be obtained you can edit and continue to manage the site.
Otherwise you'll have to start over from scratch. Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the creation of the new site.
