How can I read Safari mail on one computer that is on another computer?

I have an iMac (Tiger) and a MBPro (Leopard). I usually download and read Safari mail on my iMac; however, there are times when I am using my MBPro that I would like to be able to read the mail that is on my iMac. I always remove my mail from the server. And, I have the two computers set up on a network. Is there a way I can read the Safari mail one the iMac while I am working on the MBPro?
Thanks for your help.
Vernon

When you say your computer no longer works, I'm going to assume you cannot boot up and you cannot de-activate from the menu per the instructions above.  Instead, then, call Adobe and have them reset/de-activate all devices.  I thought I remembered doing this once online (rather than making a call), but I can't seem to find the option in my online account.

  • How can I view/copy data from one Time Capsule backup to another computer

My MBP and MB both back up to Time Capsule. From the MBP I can see it's data on TC via my network but not the backed up data from the MacBook. How can I view and import MB data to my MBP from Time Capsule via AirPort? Thanks!

Is the backup software Time Machine??
You can open the TM backup as long as you haven't used profiles to backup. Or encypted it in latest Mountain Lion.
    See Q17 here. http://pondini.org/TM/FAQ.html
You should read through all the stuff about using TM.. and restore in particular.. 14-18.

  • How can I read and write text in rings that are inside an array?

    Hello All!!!
How can I read and write text in rings that are inside an array?
    Regards and thanks in advance.

Use a Property Node linked to the Ring inside the array.
Of course, all elements in the array will have the same text values.

It depends where you bought the book...
If it came from the Kindle Store, you can read it on your PC by using the Kindle for PC app.
If it is an iBook that you bought from Apple, it can only be read on an iOS device.  Not only can you not read it on a PC, you can't even read it on a Mac!!!

  • How can I get a mail icon on toolbar that will take me to "Mail"?

Just downloaded version 3.6.11 and noticed that my mail icon on toolbar is no longer. Used to click the icon to get to my mail program (which is Mac's "mail") while running Firefox. How can I get the icon back on the toolbar (have already set preferences for "mail"?

You need to keep in mind that Gmail works differently than how Outlook works. Gmail is web mail that is accessed through a web browser, where Outlook is a locally installed email program that communicates directly with an email server.

  • How can I copy the format of one sentence or paragraph onto another sentence or paragraph?

When I copy and paste a section from one article to another, I want to change the format of the imported section to match the rest of the article. In Outlook or eM Client, I would use the paintbrush icon for this. How do I copy the format of a section in Thunderbird to another section?
    Many thanks.

I'd be using Stationery to assert my preferred styles, and then use "Paste without formatting" to allow the formatting that is currently in force to be applied to pasted text, ignoring any already attached to the imported text. A weakness of Thunderbird in its native form is that it tends to forget to insert your chosen default font etc. The Stationery add-on cures this by making your requirement explicit.
Messages sent by Thunderbird users often appear in (IMHO) ugly serif text, which is Outlook's default, because Thunderbird forgets to say you chose a sans-serif font when composing.
Without Stationery, all your efforts at harmonizing your text may come to naught.

  • How can I find out if my iphone has been synced to another computer? (Backup/Sync Privacy)

So it would seem easy for someone (lets just say a girlfriend for example) to plug my iPhone into her computer while I am staying the night and backup to iTunes.  I have my settings to "require a passcode immediately", however there was one day there was access to my passcode at her place while I was not there. So my question is three-fold:
    - How can I find out if my iphone has synced with another computer/iTunes (possible history in the iPhone)?
    - Are there additional privacy settings to make sure no one can backup my iPhone by plugging it into their iTunes?
    - If it has been backed up to another computer is there anything that can be done.
One reason I ask this is because earlier this year her phone was backed up to my iTunes on accident.  I did not know it was there until months later, but was able to access it with software.
    Thanks!

You don't.  Nothing gets stored on the iPhone about what computers the device has been backed up to.
    - Are there additional privacy settings to make sure no one can backup my iPhone by plugging it into their iTunes?
Yes, it's called a passcode lock.
    - If it has been backed up to another computer is there anything that can be done.
No.  You might consider changing your Apple ID password to be on the safe side, though, as well as your security questions.

  • How can I delete e-mails from one IPad without removing them from other IPads on same icloud? I'ved tried switching off mail sync on all devices but this only works when deleting on IPhone

We have several portable devices and a mini mac on our system and have found that if we delete an email on one device it is removed from others.
We don't want this, but at the same time we need to keep our devices clear of clutter.
It was suggested that switch off the sync mail switch in settings - Icloud, but this only works on IPads & Ipods
anybody got any better ideas ??

  • How do I remove Safari from just one account on a multi-account computer?

I'm not new to macs, but I am new to multiple accounts on one computer, so forgive me if this is a real obvious question:
I have two accounts, A & B. I want to have Safari on account A, but not on account B. However, when I trash Safari on account B, it is also removed from account A. So the question: How to I get rid of Safari on account B and keep it on account A?

If you just have the two accounts, you can move Safari into the account you want to have access. Of course, if the other account has administrator access, there isn't much you can do to prevent them from making a copy or moving it back. Any user with administrator access can get root permissions to do just about anything, so trying to implement some kind of restrictions isn't really going to work - what exactly is it you are you trying to do?

  • How can I read "Keys" from a Config File that have square brackets in them?

I'm using the "Read Key (String).vi" from the config.llb and I'm having a problem because the key names in my file have square brackets in them. I'm creating an VI to read certain pieces of the TestStand StationGlobals.ini file and array elements appear as %[0] = "blah blah blah". It looks like they're not getting recognized at all. Is there a way to handle this?

I was just looking at the code inside the configuration VIs and the way they work under V6 is that the Open VI actually reads the contents of the configuration file, parses it (in nice-platform independent G) and stores it in a fancy LV2-style global called the "Config Data Registry.vi". The routine that does the parsing is called "String to Config Data.vi". My gut reaction is that this code is going to be the same in your version because between sometime prior to V6 of LV, NI changed the location of a couple terminals on the low-level Match String function and it looks like when this code was originally written the terminals were in the old configuration.
In any case, if your square-bracket containing strings are getting lost, this is probib
ly where it's happening at. The other place to check is in the read VI itself. The V6 VI for reading the configuration registry is called "Config Data Get Key Value.vi". It's output is then further parsed by a function called "Parse Store String.vi" if the "read raw string?" input is set to False (the default position).
Given that all the code for these functions are written in LV, you should be able to fix your VIs to read the strings you have in the ini file now. Which IMHO is actually the way they should work.

Otherwise, you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:  File>Transfer Purchases
