The MacBook has no fax-modem. You will need an external (USB) modem.

I recently purchased an Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium software so I could use a more updated version of Photoshop & Illustrator. My new Mac Book Pro does not have an internal hard drive. I was told by Apple to buy an external hard drive to download the software. I bought an LG Ultra Slim Portable DVD Writer compatible for MAC. When I went to put the disc in the drive it does not seem to fit in the tray properly. Is there a special size external drive I need to purchase to do this? Please help if you know the answer. Thank you.

hello, the addons manager is exactly the right place to look for it. please try disabling the addons that are listed there one-by-one (a restart of the browser might be necessary after each step). maybe one of them is bundling this kind of adware.

Hi buddy, I figured out what is wrong with that. I had the very same issue, while sending an sms via iMessage on Mountain Lion. I called the Apple guy at the Apple care support but without any luck.
At the end--at least in my case, but it could also be yours--I think I have understood what was going on. This happens when you have your Apple ID registered on more than one device. In my case, we have two iPhones--one for me and one for my wife--but with the same App Store account. So, when I sent an sms via iMessage for the Mac, the receiver was shown my wife's iPhone number.
I hope I have been clear enough, you know, explaining this in a foreing language is always painful...

Before i downloaded the 5.0 upgrade for my IPAD, i was able to sync my IPAD with my work PC, which has everything in MS Outlook. but I can't sync my IPAD, its been a hassle since this up grade, all my apps we deleted i had reload of them. It's been a pain so I thought maybe if I could sync my blackberry with Mac then I could sync IPAD. MY goal is to have my IPAD fully functional for business.

In syncing my Iphone 5 for the first time, Facetime disappeared. Although it shows up under apps in the settings menu, the application itself does not seem to be there. What happened? How can I fix this?
There has never been a facetime app on the iphone.
As the manual says, you access from contacts. Pick a contact and scroll down to the facetime button -
I've moved my Aperture library from one computer to another using Finder.
I merged the library with one which was already on the computer.
Now, the photos I imported have reference to the old path name on my old computer.
How can I update these references as "Relocate Masters" does not work in this case?Just one suggestion to be able to reconnect all at once:
Create a smart album containing the images with missing masters:
File -> New -> Smart Album, and add a rule: File Status is "Missing" (or File Status is "offline")
Then select the images in this album and go to the File menu:
and select: File -> Locate referenced File
If you are lucky, Aperture will reconnect all at once, if you point the first image version to its counterpart. -

You can use the Settings in the slideshow to Show Captions, either the Description filed be display, the Title field or both.
If you create the slideshow in iDVD from still photos from iPhoto you can add the Description and/or Title via the settings in iDVD.
Since iDVD adds both automatically the user must go thru the slideshow and remove those items not wanted. -

I have lost the remote that was paired. I bought another remote, but the procedure to pair the new one does not work. I suspect the the AT will work with only one remote at-a-time and i have to unpair the first before pairing the second. If this is true, how do I unpair? If not, what can I do?
