How can I recover an audio book that I bought on itunes?
I bought this audio book like a year ago and later on my computer crashed and I thought the audio book was still going to be on my itunes account or something, anyway, is there a way to get it back?

Audiobooks are stored under Books, Audiobooks in your library.
Select Books from either the top left drop down or the Left hand sidebar depending on how you arer using iTunes. Then Select Audiobooks from the headings

If it's an Audiobook, then it's probably in the Audiobook section of your iPhone. Have you set your iTunes to Sync Audiobooks with your iPhone?
Alternatively, if the Audiobook was imported into your iTunes Library as as Music, then it's going to be in the Music section of your iPhone. If so, then it will be in the Music section of your iTunes Library. To move it to the Audiobooks section, select it in the Library and choose File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind where you can change it.
You can change it to a Podcast, but since something is only a Podcast if it is delivered to your iTunes as a Podcast download (which is a process for delivering files without you having to go and find them), then your audiobook is not a Podcast and you may forget (in the future) how you obtained the book in the first place -

I am having trouble downloading an audio book from iTunes, it says that it downloaded, but it is not anywhere that I can see to hear it. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me ? I have already contacted support, but the advice given still has produced my audiobook that I have paid for.

Log in to appleid.apple.com and resend the verification email to then verify the address. If you cannot get pass that, then you can always force the restore on your iPad and then enter in the password to bypass trying to turn it off.

My audio books that were bought through Itunes on my Iphone do not show up on my Itunes account.
I bought audio books on my iphone, but they do not show up on my itunes account on my computer. The books I purchased through the computer show up on my itunes account. My phone is at it's max and I need to remove these books, but do not want to lose them. Thank you for your assistance.
This isn't completely coherent so I am not sure what is wrong other than some (al?) of your tracks have broken links.
If you are browsing through iTunes you are not looking at files you are looking at data entries that point to files, with those locations being incorrect right now.
There isn't a file called iTunes media, there is a folder that should be in your iTunes folder called that.
You mention something about external drives. I presume one is for your Time Machine backup but is the other one used for iTunes? If so, what do you keep there?

After syncing with itunes on the pc, my newly purchased audio books vanished from the ipad, and I can't copy it back! I've tried copying the audio book back into the library, but that didn't help.
Also couldn't get iTunes on my iCloud! there was no where to select on the icloud dashboard so that I can add iTunes ... Help!Audiobooks are not currently available for repeat download from iTunes in the Cloud. Your audiobook should have transferred to your iTunes library when you synced your device.
You will need to contact support through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

you can re-download all purchases from the iBooks store at any time. PDF's you will need to have kept the PDF on your hard drive or on a service such as Dropbox, then you can re-import them into iTunes.

Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy it to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist
Quit Safari.
Select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the Finder menu bar. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A folder window should open with a file named "Bookmarks.plist" selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the folder open.
Relaunch Safari. It will open with the default set of bookmarks. Delete them all. Select
File ▹ Import Bookmarks
from the Safari menu bar. Import from the bookmarks file you moved to the Desktop. Arrange the bookmarks as you wish.
If Safari now performs normally, you can delete the old bookmarks file. Otherwise, quit Safari again and put back the file you moved, replacing the newer one with the same name. Close the Finder window and post again. -

try this;
open disk utility - verify disk permissions - repair disk permissions if errors are found. might take an hour or less - depending on how much errors needs to be repaired.
restart your macbook and see if that sorts it out for you.
also check your hard drive space. if your hard drive is almost full, that will also contribute to your macbook getting slower....

Hello, this problem is pretty annoying: I don't know why I can't see the audio-books located in my iPod in iTunes, because I couldn't see the Audio-Books section under devise, so I can't manage my audio-books in my iPod. How can I do it?
The tabbed sections of the device don't necessarily tally with sections in iTunes. You'll find that Audiobooks appears as a playlist under music. Sync from here. See also http://www.samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/audiobooks.asp
