How can I regain lost memory on my iPad?

I just downloaded Marvel's The Avengers in iTunes onto my 32 gigabyte wi-fi only Pad 2 running iOS 6. When it finished downloading, I went to watch it, and it said "could not load movie". I got a little annoyed, but I decided to delete the copy I had and tried to re-download it. It turns out that the original copy that I had is still using up memory on my iPad. I had exactly 9 gigabytes of memory left, and now I have 4 gigabytes, so I cannot download another copy of it, even though the original SHOULD be gone. (The movie takes up 5 gigabytes.) what can I do? I don't want to lose 5 gigabytes of my memory to something that should be gone! Please help!

Did you delete the pics, or you just can't find them on your iPad?
If you deleted them, they are gone as there is no Trash Can or Recycke Bin. If you have a backup, retrieve the pics from your backup.

Memory refers to RAM, and can't be increased.
I asume you mean storege space (like 16GB, 32GB, etc). It also can't be increased.
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.
    Another option:
Expand your iPad's storage capacity with HyperDrive

  • How can I retreive lost photos on my iPad

How can I retrieve lost photos on my iPad?

How were they lost? You have provided no background material for someone to work with. If you have deleted the photos and are on the latest iOS, there is a deleted photos album in Photos. If you do not have them in the deleted photos album, you could restore your device from a backup that contains the photos. If these were not photos from the Camera Roll and from syncing, they had to be removed by a sync, and could be synced back as long as they still exist on the computer. There are a few other choices, but I'll wait and see what you may have been doing.

  • How can I recover lost memory capacity

I have an Iphone 5s with IOS 8.0.2 installed. Today when I was syncing my phone with my laptop, the overall capacity became 26 Gb instead of 29Gb as usual. Can anyone help recover that lost capacity?

I just checked with my phone. My phone does not show up in the Finder on my Mac, but here are the results from the phone:
    Settings/About: Capacity: 64GB/Usable: 57.1GB
Settings/Usage/Storage: 23GB used/34.1 available, which adds up again to 57.1GB, as shown in Usable Capacity.
iTunes gives me the same readings for used and free space.
So, if those numbers add up for your phone in the same way, there is nothing to worry about, no matter what the Windows Explorer says.

  • How can I recover lost images from my iPad?

I connected my mums ipad to my macbook, which had previously synced my own iPad, itunes told me I had to set her iPad up, even though it had been set up before on a PC, I clicked to set it up in the same way as my ipad, and now all the images from my mum's ipad have disappeared and all my images are on her ipad instead. What can I do to get her images back?

You cannot sync with two different iTunes libraries. It will not work and it was not designed to work that way.
If your mum still have her PC - sync her iPad with her PC again in order to restore her content. If the pictures were in the camera roll on her iPad - she will have to restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes.

How can I regain answers feature alt + click for spelling and definition. using windows 7 and 6.0.2
I may have lost that feature when I upgraded to 6.0.2
This feature allowed me to rest the mouse over any word, anywhere, press Alt then left clk mouse and it gave spelling and definition of the word.

    This did not help.
I already had Answers installed, however, I followed your procedure anyway but it did not give me back the capability:

By the way, when I left click, there is a low level, short gong that sounds.

  • How can I regain access to a MAC account? -- Macbook Pro?

Situation:  My wife has a 13" Mac Book Pro, that we received in May 2011.
OS: Mac OS X Snow Leopard (not sure which version it came with -- 10.6?)
My wife's computer had two administrative accounts.  She uses one regularly, and the other is the 'primary' account for downloading updates and such.
She was unable to figure out how to use Time Machine or any of the other backup software and the like.
Yesterday, she updated to OS X Lion, and found that a number of the programs that she enjoys using no longer function.
She wanted to roll-back to Snow Leopard.  After transferring the majority of the 'must-save' files, she put in the install disk again for snow leopard.  This allowed her to start fresh, however, she wants to regain access to those old accounts.  She tried, but, none of the passwords work anymore.  We know what the passwords are; but, they are not working.
Our ATTEMPTED solution:  She found a site "http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-7339…  This site told her to do something in the boot terminal that allowed her to add a new administrative account.
She tried going into that new admin account and changing the passwords to the other accounts; no joy.  She changes them, but, they are not retained when she logs off or restarts.
How can she regain access to her old files?

Open itunes.  Sign into your account.

You are not able to add memory to a iPod Touch.
The only way to get more memory is to buy one with a larger capacity.

If all your files are missing
You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.
If files are missing from one folder
Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.

Sorry, there is no way to track a lost/stolen phone by IMEI number. Apple provides Find My Phone, but it must be turned on/activated before your phone was lost/stolen. If not, there is no way to track your phone.
