How can I reinstall iLife after Lion Recovery?

Hey, I just did a clen install of Lion in a imac mid 2011 which came with Lion and ilife preinstalled. Everything is ok after that fresh install of the OS, but I can't reinstall ilife from appstore and I followed all the steps to recover those applications. When I sign in with my apple id, appears a message that says that my ID have not used in itunes store, but I can't fill up that registration, because I don't have those credit cards listed. Please somene give me some help I need those Apps back.. thanks in advance.

If you see: None    try that...
See if it will allow you to select None
Don't forget to click Done bottom right side of the window.

Buy it again in your new Apple ID or remember the old one. That's about it.

  • How can I reinstall os x lion?

Due to an unrecoverable error on the data structure of the hard disc with Mac OS X Lion, I had to erase the hard disk and install Mac OS X Snow Leopard from installer CDROM disc. After the installation I restored all data from a security copy saved on an external hard drive with Time Machine. Now I do not remember how to install again OS X Lion, Do I have to download from iTunes?
The problem is that the iTunes version I have installed is 10.6.3 and is not compatible with OS X Snow Leopard.
So how can I get Lion reinstalled and from where I have to download it?  (I payed for downloading the update to Lion the first Time)
    Thanks for any help.

Go to the App Store and re download it. You won't be charged again. The App Store (Mac not iTunes) can be accessed from your Apple menu, or the App Store icon in your Dock, or your Applications folder.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed  then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Due to an unrecoverable error on the data structure of the hard disc with Mac OS X Lion
If need to repair the startup disk or reinstall the OS X running Lion, don't use your Snow Leopard install discs. Use OS X Lion: About Lion Recovery
You can restore from a Time Machine backup using Lion Recovery.

  • How can I reinstall iLife on my macbook without the CD?

I once had iLife on my macbook, however when I updated to OS X Lion, I couldn't find it anymore. I am currently running version 10.7.3.
I need to reinstall iLife without using the CD and without going to the Apple store as I am no where near one.
P.S: When I search for iLife in the App Store it says I have to pay.
    Please Help!
    Thanks!

Restoring iLife applications after Internet Restore of OS X Lion
If you reinstall Lion on a new Mac that shipped with OS X Lion installed, on an erased or replaced hard drive, you can download iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand from the Mac App Store.
    After installation, start from Lion.
Double-click the App Store icon in the dock.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
    Click Purchases.
If you haven't previously accepted your bundled iLife applications within the Mac App Store, you should see your iLife applications appear in the Accept portion of the screen. Click Accept.
You may be asked for your Apple ID and password once again. Your iLife applications now move to the Purchased section. These applications are part of the software that came with your Lion based computer. Your account will not be charged for them. Click Install to compete installation of your applications.

  • How can I fix problems after Lion OSX install?

Just a couple of weeks after installing Lion, I am now experienceing the following problems:
Tremendous slowdown in system use without any obvious reason
I can't upload videos directly from iMovie to YouTube. It completes the upload, but I never see the video on the YouTube site, even after several days!
I can't change my Desktop background. Whether I attempt from my pictures folder, or using System Preferences, after I highlight the picture I want to change to, nothing happens

    Try reinstalling:
    Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • How can I reinstall CS2 after not uninstalling properly?

I hope someone can help me since after being on the phone with Adobe for almost 3 hours, they told me they don't do 'support' for CS2 anymore.
I bought CS2 and registered it about 4 years ago. I've had it installed in the same computer ever since.
Just recently I had virus problems and Dell re-set my computer back to factory settings. The Geek Squad backed up all my photos and documents, but I have to re-install all the software.
I installed CS2 and the last step was to put in my serial number, which I did. I got a message insinuating that I didn't have a legit copy. I called Adobe, and they told me that it was the correct number. But, they flat out refused to give me any 'technical help' as to why I can't complete the installation.
I read some of the questions here and am now thinking I was supposed to have uninstalled the software. But I didn't. So, it must be looking like I'm someone else trying to get the program for free. I just don't know.
Please, please help me. I'm not awfully computer literate and I'm totally stressed out from all that has happened with the computer.
    Thanks much for any advice!

Here's an update on my CS2 "reinstall" problem. I didn't have to reinstall!
I tried to no avail some of the suggestions you all kindly sent. I hesitated to deinstall or replace folders from the CDs, but rather took a look on the Web for information. I found a useful hint at (http://www.justskins.com/forums/reinstallation-problem-128281.html). Though the article was about CS3, I realized that my problem might have resulted from a corrupt preferences file.  I followed the suggestion to create a new XP user account. IT WORKED; that "new user" could immediately use all my CS2 products without reinstalling.  One exception was that Illustrator would start and then just disappear, but "new user" was able to reinstall it from the CDs with no problem. My original XP user account still cannot use CS2 or reinstall. My next step will be figure out how to fix the original XP user, and then reinstall FlashPlayer 10 to see if it reproduces the original problem.
After going through all this, I remembered that once long ago Adobe Support helped me fix a corrupt preferences file without creating a new XP user account. I searched the Knowledge Base, and though I could have missed it, I didn't find any related info.
    Thanks again and cheers, KvF

  • How can I reinstall Safari for Lion after I mistakenly installed Safari for Mountain Lion?

    Hi,
via Macupdate I saw the new version 6.02 and did not thought about it. So I installed it only to view that this version  would run only on a Mountain Lion system.
My 2007-MacBook is not capable to run 10.8.
So I tried to replace the new version with a Safari (6.0.1) from a TimeMachine Backup. I also tried to apply again the Mac OS X Combo Updater (10.7.5), but the installer says that it is not possibel to install it (again).
The thing is that Safrai still keeps crashing. Now I don't know what to do.
    Any help is appreciated

5.1.8 is only currently available as part of the recent
    Security Update 2013-001 (Snow Leopard)
download the latest Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
and before installing, check HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ and the same folder (if it exists) in your Home/Library/ for anything named Flash... moving them to the trash.
you may also have a Flash Player icon in System Preferences - the Advanced tab has an Updates section, with a 'check now' button, which should show what you have & if it needs updating.
edit - as Baltwo said... which wasn't showing previously

  • ¿How can I reinstall iPhoto after having it accidentally removed?

The thing is iPhoto came with my MBP when I first bought it, back then the osx was Lion. I was having trouble using my apple id to download stuff from the app store so my ex girlfriend (back then my girlfriend) used her id so that I could download free apps and stuff. that turned out to be a huge mistake because her id was instantly saved in my osx and all future apps and upgrades were made with her id. I upgraded to Mountain Lion as soon as it came out and iPhoto was working correctly until one day it no longer wanted to update, it kept me asking for my ex girlfriend's apple id password. It seems to me that the osx is still recognizing her apple id for some apps she downloaded to my computer, but why iPhoto? didn't it came with my MBP?
So I thought that iPhoto was free in the app store, since it came with my MBP, and attempted to delete the app from my computer and redownload it with my apple id (which eventually I could make work for the app store) so that I no longer had to depend on my ex girlfriends id, when it came to the surprise that it was not free. So I no longer have iPhoto and I'm needing it really bad because I bought an iPhone now and can't transfer photos to my computer via photostream.
I would really like to now:
    1. How to get back iPhoto and make it upgrade with my ID.
    2. How to eliminate all possible traces of my ex girlfriend's ID from my computer.
    Thank you before hand.

    Ok
So you need the Apple ID it was registered to or you need to purchase it
You can contact App store support using the link on the right of the App store page and see if they can help

  • How can I reinstall Safari after losing it completely on my Mac Pro?

Somehow I deleted Safari from my MacBook and there is no trace of it on my computer.  I am trying everything and failing.  Please help!  Thank you in advance!

Have you tried using Software Update? Have you tried reinstalling it from the pre-bundled software installer that came on your original installer discs for the computer?  Have you tried downloading Safari 5.0.6 for Leopard from Apple's support site?

  • How can I reinstall Mountain Lion (already bought before) after I restore my MacBook unibody (restores it to snow leopard)?

Originally I had upgraded my MacBook unibody to mountain and used time machine to back up my data. I then wanted to restore my MacBook so I did but it restored my MacBook to snow leopard. After restoring to an old time machine backup some of the apps aren't compatible because they require mountain lion but my system got restored to snow leopard. How can I reinstall my already purchased mountain lion if snow leopard doesn't have an App Store?

10.6 Snow Leopard will get the App Store when you update it to 10.6.8. Download the 10.6.8 combo updater to bring it up to 10.6.8. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

  • How Can you reinstall Photoshop Elements12 to a computer that its was there but loss it after installing windows 8.1

How Can you reinstall Photoshop Elements12 to a computer that its was there but loss it after installing windows 8.1

Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap,  because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. See: Hands on with Mountain Lion's OS X Recovery and Internet Recovery | Macworld
(the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).

  • My iTunes library is missing since upgrade Lion 7.2.  I have it all backed up so that's not the issue. How can I reinstall it with all my hundreds of playlists intact or do I have to recreate each one upon reinstalling the backup copy? Thank you for help

Almost my iTunes library is missing since upgrade Lion 7.2. (the last 2.5 weeks worth of added music has transferred post-upgrade, none of whcih was bought from iTunes)
I have it all backed up so that's not the issue. How can I reinstall it with all my hundreds of playlists intact or do I have to recreate each playlist upon reinstalling the backup copy? This would save a HUGE amount of time and efforts. Thank you for your help!

    hi Limnos,
I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th.  (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists)  The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29.  (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?
    Thank you for your help!
    Deb
