Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap, because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. (the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).

How can I reinstall Photoshop CC 2014? I uninstalled through Control Panel > Programs & Features after finding a post that said uninstall/reinstall would fix the problem that choosing a DNG file and selecting Edit In Photoshop CC 2014 does not work. The uinstall worked but I cannot find a way to reinstall. When I open the Creative Cloud app it says that Photoshop CC 2014 is up to date!
What is the procedure for reinstalling? Thanks.

The correct solution is described at CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.
I used solution 2 and deleted the OPM.DB file. When I restarted the Creative Cloud app it then recognized that Photoshop CC 2014 was not installed and all I had to do was click the Install button.

Can I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 on 2 computers? How do I do this?

Currently I have Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 4 on both my Mac Pro and my Macbook Pro. I also have Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 on my Mac Pro. I now have an iMac and would like to have Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 on it. Do I need to deactivate it from my Mac Pro to do this or how can I install them onto my new computer as well? Each license allows for having working installations on two machines. Which two machines you use them on is your choice.

Also, why are you reinstalling Photoshop?
If it is because you encounter a strange issue that you did not have before (a tool that misbehaves), most of the times, it does not cure it, as a reinstall does not delete the preference files, and it is those that can become corrupted.
I would reinstall (to cure an issue) only after having reset the offending tool(s), or after having re-created the preference files.

How can I reinstall Photoshop CS6l after system restore

I downloaded and installed the trial version of CS6 a few days ago and everything was working wonderfully. Yesterday, some adware found its way through my firewall and installed itself on my system. The only restore point I had available predated the CS6 installation, and after the system recovered, PhotoShop was gone. I attempted to install it again to continue the trial, but got an error that directed me to a site that is no longer maintained by Adobe. How can I fix this? I'm sure the time limit on the trial hasn't stopped counting down, but I'm unable to install and check out the software. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How can I reinstall Photoshop CC

I received and error message telling me that I needed to reinstall my recently downloaded Photoshop file since I was missing necessary files. When I went to Creative Cloud I found that I was listed as having downloaded the file and found no option to reinstall. I uninstalled the application thinking that that would then allow me to download the file. No such luck. I now have no access to the program. Please advise.

Here is my situation- I use/own CS6 and lightroom 4.
I have installation cd's (I'm a long time user so they are upgrades from previous versions) however, I am on an extended vacation with my laptop which is my second system.
My laptop crashed so I had to rebuild it and I don't have my CD's. Where can I download CS6 and Lightroom 4 so I can activate it.
I have an adobe account so I have proof of purchase and have documented serial keys.Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
I may suffer severe withdraw if I can't process my photos before I get home.

if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, a failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

How can I reinstall "lost" Safari and Camera functions?

Ever since I dropped the phone a week ago (still working otherwise), the Safari and Camera icons have disappeared from my home screen, and I cannot seem to find them.
I have tried "Reset Home Screen Layout" from the Settings / General menu, but while the existing icons rearrange the missing ones do not appear. I would like to restore these icons if possible, but I am not sure how to do it myself.
As I am a relatively new user, I am probably missing something, but I couldn't find it on a few searches for the information.

Check Setting->General->Restrictions. If restrictions are enabled, the icon is removed from the home screen.
