How can I remove a mini DVD?

My wife just plunged a mini DVD into the drive slot thinking my MBP would play it. The joke's on her!
So, any suggestions as to how to remove the mini DVD short of taking the MBP apart? Or is that what I'm going to have to do?

Add another e-mail account to your messages, so people could reach you on that e-mail from messages. As soon as you are online (if you have wifi only iPad) you are able to send and receive messages. i.e. your son can send you a messages from his iPhone addressing it to your (that additional) e-mail address.

I'd defiantly try a factory reset first to see how things look afterwards.
Its safe to say IOS8 is buggy for me and I'm sure Apple will fix many of the issues soon. The main problems I have experienced to date on a factory reset iPad Mini are as follows:
General system slow down.
Safari is very slow to render web pages, this could be WIFI related.
The keyboard seems slow to respond especially within Safari.
I opened a new email earlier this morning and it caused the iPad to auto reboot. Thats a first for me on an Apple device.
The ability to make / receive a call on your iPad always seems to fail for me. My iPad will ring when a call is received I will answer but it will immediately fail to connect. The same happens on outgoing calls.
Battery life on first impressions seems to have suffered since the upgrade.

I believe that I have the same issue with iPad Mini with Retina Display, iOS 8.1. No matter which way I delete videos from my iPad, they will still show as "deleted", yet the space is not cleared up. I tried restore and then a full restore (clean setup as a new iPad) and it still does this to me. I can solve it by doing a restore each and every time I download a video and delete it. Rather frustrating. Has been a problem since day 1 of iOS 8. I'm yet to try the power+home button reset. It may very well work, but I am surprised that a "fresh setup" of an iPad didn't resolve it from ever occurring.

Sounds like to me that you have a bootcamp partition with Windows and have the default Windows to boot first.
I think there is a Windows Control Panel or other setting while your in Windows to set the OS X as the first boot option.
Also in OS X there is a option under the System Preferences to set OS X as the first boot option.

I believe when you plug her old iPhone in to your computer it will notify you that the phone is synced with another library and ask if you want to register it with your library. At least this is how iPods work. I'm not sure about iPhones. If you want to actually use the phone as your own you may need to go through AT&T.
If you're just looking to use the iPhone as an iPod (without the phone portion of it) you may run in to some problems. The iPhone really wants to be on a cell network all the time. I think you'd have to jailbreak it to get it to work properly as an iPod.
Let us know what happens when you plug the phone in to your computer.

I merged my dad's iphone to my Apple ID a while back because he wants to buy an app and I have some credit left over so I let him used my ID on his device. Apparently, all my contacts, pictures from photo stream, and ical are now also in his device. And all his contacts, pictures, and ical are on mines. How can I remove his device from my icloud and Apple ID WITHOUT deleting anything? Like I just don't want him to get anymore of my reminders and contacts, and pictures? Because I'm afraid taht if I remove his iphone on my icloud, all the pictures/contacts/ical that he took and went to my device too will be deleted because those are some important pictures/contacts/ical?
I tried to manually delete some of my dad's contacts that was shared on my phone, it turns out that it got deleted on his phone as well and vice versa. How can I just completely cut him off of my icloud and ID without losing any of my and his contacts/pics/etc?

My dad gave me his old iphone as he got an upgrade. I can't seem to change his icloud account to mine. I'm getting his updated calender and his mail - and there seems to be some confusion between both our accounts. He seems to be acquiring some of my contacts - some of which have names which have led to some probing questions... So basically this needs to be sorted out! I just got my Mac-Mini, and sometimes when I want to do something on it, A screen with 'parental controls' pops up, and I have to enter a password, which I don't know. I've asked my parents if they did this, but they didn't! And after an hour, my Mac says: Your time is over, to add an extra hour, enter your password. How can I remove it? It's very annoying because I can't even go to Facebook, or Youtube.

The parents, if the mini were ever used officially by them and had any software
installed, bought music, updated the system, etc, would've used their Apple ID.
So, if through legitimate sources and correctly set-up, or if bought used and set
up with the new owner's information, installed new OS X, and etc, it would have
an Admin account or be accessible by the owner's Apple ID.
Before using suggested links to change an unknown Admin access password,
be sure to check, because if this unit has seen any software update, iTunes,
App Store or Mac App Store access, someone has an account and it may be
that would alter how the computer was used by them, if you change it now.
Also, to update or upgrade System software, and most online store access, does
require a valid payment card to be entered. If the parents are a party to this use,
then seems to reason, they should be in on what to change the new password to.

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

As you have already determined there is no easy way, you will to try everything from a credit card to a toothpick or you can take your machine into Apple and be charged for removing it . Tray loaders will take mini's Slot loaders will not take them and never have and never will.
You can turn it opening down and try to fish it out.
